The gas grills are a bonus-- just remember to bring your own BBQ tools! The beds are small (double, not queen) but are comfortable. Pets are not welcome and every room is non-smoking.

I am amazed at how great this hotel is. We were here in this area for a few days and we had a…read morewonderful time. It is located by Madeira beach. We had no issues for the entirety of our stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is literally down the hall!! There are also hammocks, and several grills available, oh and plenty of lounge chairs. My favorite part of the day was going to the beach and pool all day. (Ikr) You could also rent chairs and umbrellas for $10 a piece but the umbrellas didn't do the job. I mean it was so windy and the plastic pieces just bent easily that the umbrella didn't provide shade for too long so I definitely recommend bringing your own. The hotel features a couple of suites next to the beach which would have been nice to get but those cost more. Our room was very clean and included a microwave and fridge. And access to free wifi! Right next to the hotel there is a long pier which we didn't get the chance to go on so maybe next time. There's only a few restaurants/ stores within walking distance but luckily our friends drove us around. Definitely recommend checking out John's pass shopping village if you can. There's free parking by the hotel but there are not many spots so you'd have to park across the street otherwise. If we do find ourselves here again we will definitely rent a car so we can explore more at our convenience. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and encourage you to check out this hotel if you are planning a trip around this area.

The pool that the resort has is also very nice and is pretty deep - like 8 feet in the deep end. The "resort" looks more like a motel as you can see in my pictures, the room was decently clean, no critters crawling around which is basically the minimum I ask of any place where I am staying overnight. The rooms are very outdated I must say, almost everything looked pretty old inside, and the counters and tables definitely could have been wiped down. The logos of the hotel in the elevators also were vandalized by various patrons for who knows how long and the hotel didn't bother to clean/fix it? Overall, I'd stay here again if I was feeling like saving money on a trip and just cared about somewhere to sleep for the night.

A thing management dismissed claiming I was from out of the country and had sand fleas. I'm from Miami, and know sand fleas....also I was informed an exterminator DID come to service the room by a manager who refused to provide me an invoice for the services. For context We went to Tampa from Miami for a doctors appointment, just slept in the beds and then left- we were there 1 night. I'd never stay there again. Go anywhere else.
