When my family and I struggled with the poor quality of service at another local laundry, we took note to this one. This place is super clean and comfortable. I have been here twice and had the opportunity to meet the owner at a community meeting, which clearly shows his regard for his customers. The small space is efficiently used and customers walk into an environment embraced with signage welcoming consumers, safety regulations, encouraging parents not to allow children to run or play in laundry, etc. In addition, there are all kinds of laundry paraphernalia on the wall, and there are plenty of laundry baskets. Each time upon arriving, the staff, which is culturally diverse (thumbs up! Asian, African American) smiled and said hello. Now--c'mon: what more can the community ask for? Community members should help care for the laundry mat and encourage the owner to keep up the good work. Thumbs up to "Da Mat.!"

I knew they wouldn't go as far as to damage the fabric as they told me as such. When i went in today to pick up the pants I was told they got as much as they could without destroying the fabric. I asked if that meant they could not remove the stain. I was told no. I took the pants to the card & lo-and-behold, there is no teammate of the stain to the untrained eye. I needed to pick up some clothes for an upcoming event and took an Uber down there after work to make sure I arrived with plenty of time to spare at 4:10 pm. They were closed. Once I had clothes dry cleaned and they came back smelling awful (not dirty or clean but like a very strong perfume). The second time I took a bridesmaid dress in to get hemmed. I should have known it was a bad idea when he didn't have me try it on but just asked how much I wanted cut off. When I went to pick up the dress, first of all he wasn't planning on giving me back the 3-5 feet of fabric he cut off until I demanded it (to make matching accessories) and when I got home to try on the dress is was completely uneven! Not only was the left side shorter than the right, but the sheer layer on top was shorter than the layer underneath. I think almost $1.75/lb. the delivery charge -- especially since i'm down the street -- is also ridiculous. compared to other places in the area, i'd rather do my laundry here (if I didn't have it in my building)... if they could cut down their wash-n-fold price, i'd consider doing more of that too.

I left and will NEVER bother stopping at that place again!!!!
