Once in the room, the doctor was apologetic. Apparently, the staff had not been attentive to her notes where she asked for refills to be given. I didn't appreciate the lost sleep (night shift nurse problem), but I did appreciate her owning the error. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the care she provides, and I will continue to see her for my general care in the future. Dr. Shorter has been my primary care provider for a year. When we moved him away, Dr. Shekarappa left out important medications (diuretics) from his medical records. We have always said that this doctor contributed to our father's death.
