Without reservation, she's the best primary care doctor I've ever had, bar none. Every person on her staff has been kind, professional, and caring--every time! Even if I move an hour or two away, Dr. Scarborough will continue to be my doctor. She is a rare individual and doctor: more like a friend who cares about my welfare and as well as my health. She always schedules enough time during visits to actually talk with patients and then listens to them, then follows through to address any health issues that need her attention. We aren't shuffled through her office like a number to quickly move out of the way, but as a person who is there for her help and expertise. If I've had to call after hours for a pressing issue(which I've done a couple of times), either she or her NP Holly always calls me back quickly and takes care of what I need. I'm a grandmother, years older than she, but we're "on the same page," and I've never felt or seen any condescension from her or her staff (which is more common everywhere these days toward older people). I highly recommend her without reservation, and that includes the ladies who check in patients, the nurses, lab staff, and anyone else I've had the pleasure of interacting with there. He had a PDR, would look up these diseases, write it down and then try to tell his doctor what his problem was and what treatment he needed. There is a term for that and it's in French. I'm not a French speaker but it's basically "pieces of paper" referring to patients who literally come in with these awful diseases that they think they have. But, I in the back of my mind, have an idea of what the condition is. Stomach related, no sense wasting her time and not telling her my opinion on the subject was taking vitimins on an empty stomach might be one reason. She, on the other hand, does take these things into account but does a full exam. I have also gone to her with what I thought was the problem in the back of my mind but didn't mention that. Then she diagnoses something different and I'm thinking, that can't be right. But, then, after the diagnosis and treatment found that she's never been wrong. A very careful and aware doctor, someone who you can trust to give you the right diagnosis and not just get you in or out. She generally keeps on time. Maybe she was born in Switzerland? But, you never feel rushed or a commodity that she's just going through the motions with per instructions of an insurance company. Her staff is quite knowledgeable and attentive. Plus, good looking! But, the one's her daughter, so hands off, please. I have been out of state visiting relatives and needed refills. Many doctors will push that off on the pharmacy or just say yeah, we'll get to it but never does. They are quite attentive to such details and never leaves a patient out of the loop, if possible. She is across the street from another Dr. Charmless, her husband who is an eye doctor. Wonderful sense of humor he has. She also has a good sense of humor. It always amazes me how any doctor can keep up with all the regulations, rules and new medicines that are coming out all the time. But, this doctor is on the ball and knows her stuff.

They declined the payment and told me that I was discharged..as if I worked for them or something. I asked them why and they told me that it was because my schedule was so sporadic that it didn't make sense for them to have me as a patient. I then offered again to pay the full amount of the visit and explained that they sell time and if I pay the full amount then they haven't lost anything. I also asked them why they hadn't given me any warning before "discharging" me and they said that it was in the initial paperwork I had signed with them. The lady that answered the phone was completely incompetent and couldn't verbalize basic thoughts and had no interest in advocating for what was right in this situation. The physical environment of the office, the staff and the professionalism overall is mediocre at best so they seem to draw people in with the weightloss portion of their business then upsell you once you're there. The "doctor" doesn't need the business and her attitude and lack of business acumen reflects it. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

He is open to discussing my mother's care with me (with mom's permission, of course). I contacted Dr. Ellis's office with a concern about my mom's care and Dr. Ellis himself returned my phone call. He described the care he was providing and why. He was very patient and allowed me as much time as I needed to understand his plan and how it would impact my mother's health. Indeed, my mother's health is improving under his watchful eye. Dr. Ellis is a great doctor. Don't doubt it for a minute.

And, I asked about it. Well, I was told, You have no Co-pay due at this time. Yay! But, the other day, I get a bill for the Co-Pay on that day. Boo! So, I called the Billing Dept, and asked about it. But, since the department is not in the same office (not even in the same county), they couldn't explain what happened. So, I had to pay it. :-( And, rather than having to pay postage, I was able to pay it over the phone. 8-) But, the Billing Dept can't process the payment. They have to call the office. Sheesh! Talk about a FUBAR! But, I do like the people there. So, I'll keep 'em for a while.

I was first seen by a nurs and then seen by a M.D. They were both friendly and professional. I feel…read moremy care was very good. I was given the option of having a Covid test and I had it done and thankfully it was negative for all ailments. I left with 4 prescriptions and instructions to come back for a follow-up visit (at no cost) if I didn't feel better in a few days. I've used this facility about 3 times and have been very happy with the care I received and I would recommend them without hesitation. Certainly better than waiting in an ER for something that can be handled by an urgent care facility.
