Dr. Baum and his staff couldn't have been nicer, and presented me with several options to my dental issue. I chose extraction. Now let me tell you, I've only had 1 extraction in my life, and it was not a pleasant experience, but I'm telling you, as god is my witness, Dr. Baum had that extraction done before I even knew what happened! I was literally shocked at how quickly, smoothly, and painlessly it all happened. He talked me through everything he was doing, and I appreciated that. Though I arrived 10 minutes early, i was made to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time. The hygienist was rude, insulting and uncaring. I felt I was being shamed for my condition, and was told it would be a long hopeless and expensive journey. This was before Dr Errante walked in. He asked if the hygienist explained everything and I had any questions. He never examined or even looked at me, as he was clearly preoccupied. Worst medical experience of my life, which left me with PTSD, and fear of going to the dentist, any dentist. I saw a comment or two stating long waits, docs going between patients. It must have been their first time at a dentist. EVERY dentist I ever went to has multiple patients at the same time and as everyone knows how painful toothaches and the like can be, Dr. Pete will not make you wait to make appointment. The insurance company says they're still under contract and have to accept it and they'll call them. Ultimately they agreed to take the insurance but wouldn't give my money back for 3 weeks until they got payment from insurance. Then tried to only reimburse the difference. The dentist is constantly in and out working on multiple people at once and they've cancelled multiple appointments over the years. Just a Bad business these days. Lost a long time patient.

Of course I was nervous, he explained the whole procedure in detail at my exam, again on Saturday for the procedure and discussed the options one more time. I couldn't believe how easy the extraction went. Fast forward that evening and next day felt fine, no pain. For what was done, my stress level was so minimal.
