My son had a complicated issue and required the services of an Oral Surgeon. We met with Dr. Jamdar, who was up for the task. My son had a cyst in his gum that prevented a permanent tooth from coming through. In fact the tooth laid sideways under two other permanent teeth, somehow it had to be removed. He was kind to my son and received my son's trust. The surgery went perfect, I don't know how he did it. My son came out smiling with a gauze filled mouth. The follow up check went without a hitch. He is an incredible wizard of an oral surgeon. He has my utmost respect and I very highly recommend him. read more

I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted with Dr. Christopher First in January of 2014 at his Brentwood office. The experience was smooth, and there were no complications. Going into the office is like stepping back into 1997, with furniture that hasn't been replaced since then (they even have a poster of Seinfeld telling us what the deal with flossing is). Dr. Christopher First is a nice guy: to the point, a bit nervous, and thorough. I was passed out on anesthetic and essentially dead for the duration of the procedure, so I can't attest to the handiwork. But there were no problems afterwards. Jamdar took me on a Saturday.And fit me in again on Monday to extract an infected and painful cracked root canal.His assistants were so wonderful at easing my nerves and Dr .Jamdar was kind and explained everything to me.His other assistant held my hand the whole time.The front desk staff was super sweet as well.This is a happy office. I only needed to take advil 1 time.Very little discomfort after.I would recommend this Dr to anyone. read more

Over the last six months we needed to have four wisdom teeth pulled from our 20 year old daughter and then tooth #3 (adult molar) had to be pulled from my mouth and prepped for an implant. Dr. Chris First handled both and was exceptional in each instance. I had an emergency and need to have an infected tooth out immediately. Suffolk Oral Surgery got me in with an appointment the same day I called. I was in excruciating pain. I saw Dr. Teehan. Let me tell you she is the nicest sweetest most caring dentist I have ever encountered. I let her know I have a severe phobia of dentists at the age of thirty five and she made me feel so comfortable. She was thorough, gentle, and just wonderful. The nurse and assistant that helped her were also very warm and comforting. If I could give them more than five stars I would. Thank you again!!! read more

I have used these folks twice. The first time was for a dental implant. 8 years later, I have had zero issues with it. This procedure was performed by Dr. Jonke, who was friendly, professional, accomadating and very capable. Just earlier today, I used them again 2 have 2 wisdom teeth surgically removed. This time, I was seen and operated on by Dr. Jamdar. Once again, I was very pleased. The surgery went off without a hitch. I opted to stay awake, albeit under the influence of lidocaine and nitrous oxide. I was full aware of what was happening, but felt virtually no pain. The only pain I felt were the initial needles to admister the lidocain. Dr. Jamdar was also very friendly. He explained the entire procedure to me and made me feel very comfortble. They would have gotten a 5th star rating, except that they are so popular, and so busy (I suppose this is another testament to thier capability), it took me a week and a half to get in there. read more

Excellent experience. I had a wisdom tooth with some significant decay and not worth saving. I have nothing against dentists but fear the pain and what my chewing would be like without it. Dr. Sachin Jamdar was patient and explained what would be done and patiently answered all my questions. I went for the nitrous oxide and lidocaine, I didn't feel anything except a slight pinch from the needle. It was over in a couple of minutes. Highly recomended. read more

I HATE, (barely use that word), HATE, going to the dentist. I'm an ANTI-DENTITE! But we all have to go and sometimes have issues beyond the regular dentist. Upon seeing my regular dentist, he informed me that 3 of my wisdom teeth were impacted under my gums. (Ugh, kill me now....just talking about it freaks me out! LOL) The 4th one was above my gums. He said I needed them pulled out because they were laying awfully close to a nerve that controls my jaw. He referred me to Suffolk Oral Surgery. Getting an appointment is kinda hard but I was in NO hurry! The office is clean, the staff is friendly and the waiting room, well, it's a waiting room of doom for me!! I was a nervous wreck. But once I went in and met Dr. Jonke, my nerves calmed and he explained every little concern with me. I didn't feel rushed and when he said I would be put to sleep, well that's all I really needed to hear! I made another appointment for the surgery and came back another day. I had to bring a driver with me. All I remember is Dr. Jonke telling me a joke while I was waiting for the anesthesia to kick in. I never heard the punchline. I woke up, with 3 less teeth (they said one could stay, as it was harlmess). The nurses escorted me to this little recovery room where I was apparently mumbling and ranting on about milkshakes. This was to be my meal of choice for 2 days. Although I was in pain later in the day, it was totally tolerable with advil. My mouth healed nicely and Dr. Jonke was AWESOME. I wish all dentists could be like him and all experiences be under anesthesia! Needless to say, when my husband needed a dental implant, Dr. Jonke was the first call we made and between Dr. Jonke and his regular dentist, 5 years later, no issues what-so-ever with his implant. His experience in the little recovery room was much funnier than mine was!! I think they gave him the good stuff ;) FIVE STARS!! read more

If I could leave 100 stars I would. I was so pleased with my wisdom tooth extraction, I wouldn't even have a problem going through it a second time, thanks to Dr. Jamdar and the amazingly skilled staff at Suffolk Oral Surgery Associates. I was a nervous wreck headed to my appointment and had to have all 4 removed and get knocked out. The top two were fully grown in and the bottom two impacted. One of the impacted teeth was very close to a nerve and could have caused permanent nerve damage and was stuck deep within the jaw bone. Dr. Jamdar and his staff was extremely professional and kind during the extraction, I suffer from terrible anxiety and they made my experience nothing short from excellent. Never in my life would I think I would be saying that after oral surgery!! Sorry, no way! Zero pain after all 4 teeth were removed, no tingly lip issues, no jaw pain. I feel fantastic! If you need any serious work done on your mouth this is the place to go!! This doctor is kind, funny, and 100% professional and gentle. Not one bruise on my face from the pulling and no puffy cheeks.
