DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I brought in a pair of shoes that needed some glue and the lady mentioned that it would be ready in 2 days. I came back 10 days later to pick them up. The gentlemen spent about 10 minutes looking for my shoe and then asked me if I could come back another day to pick them up. When I said no, he went back to looking for the shoe for another 10 minutes and called his wife on the phone. He asked me to come back in 30 minutes as he's waiting for her to come back to the shop.. I declined again. So he went to help another customer but magically found the shoes immediately after taking her measurements. If you forgot to put glue on my shoes, just let me know.. what I received was some sloppy glue work and a face full of lies. He did not offer an apology or a discount for the 30 minutes that I wasted waiting for him to "find" my shoes. A place that offers so many services (tailoring/shoe repair/laundry) is just a shop grasping for business as they have no idea what they're actually doing. I definitely will NOT waste any time with this place again. Edit: the business claims to be open at 11AM but no one was there at 11:30AM. I called again later that afternoon and brought in the shoe for repair. When I brought up the time on their window, the lady claimed that they come in around 11:35AM everyday but did not apologize either. read more

They did a decent job. Never had shoes repaired so not sure if the costs are comparable. The cost to shine is $10. I didn't want to pay it but when returned, they were shined. Not complaining. I use this place strictly for shoe and handbag repairs. They are consistent. The price is right. There's a slight damp smell when you come in, but it hasn't stopped me from bringing in heels that need new taps and purses that need hardware replaced. read more

Lovely customer service. I went in with a broken zipper on my purse. The gentleman took one look at it, pulled out some pliers and fixed it within seconds. He said he could have charged me more to take out the zipper and put in a new one but the purse didn't need it. He charged me $2 and I was on my way. I walked in with no appointment and in a hurry, hoping I would be in luck. Took 2 pairs of snow boots in: One pair for cleaning and one pair to have the bottom part of it re-attached as it was coming apart and snow was getting inside my boots! The cleaned pair needed to have 3 years worth of salty snow cleaned off and upon picking them up, they looked brand spankin new! I was very impressed. The pair that had the bottom part re-attached I have to give it a 7/10. Yes, the bottom part was re-attached successfully, but I feel the gluing part was a bit sloppy. Granted, those boots were the sweater-knit kind and they were beige.. soo... the glue ( when looking up close) was a bit evident. A bit smeared and sorta seeping out. I shrugged it off cause the service was cheap and, well, boots get ruined anyway. The gentleman who helped me was VERY sweet and welcoming. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt so I'll be going back. I feel like I still need to test the waters and see. read more

I dropped off some very old and beat up leather saddlebags from my motorcycle. The leather was in terrible shape and a buckle needed to be replaced. They did an excellent job of repairing, the bags look great and they did it at a great price. I'll be taking all my repairs to them from now on. read more

Dont go here. I tried them out after moving too far from a great chicago tailor. Took them a pair of slacks to let out and sew a small part in the front. Got them back and only the back was sewn, rough sewn, front not touched. The other was my gfs sweater that had the front pocket starting to come undone so she just wanted it sewn back up. Got it back w different thread and the sewing was completely noticeable, very rough like someone w no tailoring experience did it. I asked him why it was like that and he said "we cant do it like professional" but they charged me $20 for both items! He didnt care he just wanted me out of there. The place also smells really bad like theres mold and must. I didnt even bother trying to get my money back. read more
