Our vehicles, on several occasions, had totally rookie maintenance mistakes, misorders, mis-assemblies, plain old misses. Finding the Alauria family repair shop, the "Servants of Sunnyslope Rising" , quality repairs, three year, 36,000 mile warranties, made us permanent customers. Three more family vehicles get serviced here now. Proper inspectiond and troubleshooting, no rookie mistakes. Follow up as needed, Pricing appropriate for this level of service. And my life savings are not getting paid out to a global shareholder pool.

Kirk, the service manager, has been a big part of why I keep coming back -- he's down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to even when I don't fully understand the technical side of things. I really appreciate their communication process, including texted reports and photos of the work being done. So far, everything they've done has been straightforward and honest. When I've questioned their diagnostics or recommendations, Kirk has taken the time to explain things clearly and has even reached out to Jasper (the company that rebuilt my engine) just to help put my mind at ease. That level of follow-through means a lot, especially after a bad experience elsewhere. My one significant complaint is their shop fees. These charges aren't itemized as a "shop supply fee" or anything specific -- they just appear as a flat fee, and they're not disclosed anywhere in the initial quote. Most shops I've dealt with cap this type of fee around $50, but I was charged $90 on one occasion. Not listing this upfront feels misleading, and I think it's something customers should be made aware of before authorizing work. That said, trust in the actual mechanical work matters a lot to me, and this shop has earned that trust. I'll continue bringing my vehicle here, but I'd strongly encourage them to be more transparent about these fees upfront -- it would go a long way toward making an already good experience a great one.

I have finally found a diesel shop that I can trust!…read more So a little background.....I own a 6.0 Powerstroke. Despite meticulous maintenance, no tuning (my truck is bone stock), and never pushing my truck, I have experienced all of the woe's that are inherit to this truck.....from turbo sticking issues to injector problems, they have happened to me. Given the prices of today's trucks and the fact that mine is totally paid for, I have kept it despite the short comings of the 6.0. I figure that it is still cheaper to fix this truck rather than drop $60k or more on a new one. Well, after getting screwed multiple times at the dealer, a neighbor of mine pointed me to Rob and Michelle of Diesel Dermanator. Not only are these folks EXTREMELY knowledgeable regarding the 6.0 and all of its shortcomings, they are friendly, honest and their customer service just can't be beat! They are thorough and complete throughout the entire process.....from diagnosis to final repair, and they won't try to sell you something that you don't need! Rob was able to diagnose my truck in record time and take care of it. This time it was the all to common fuel in coolant issue due to a cracked injector bore. Rather than try to push me into unnecessary replacement of the heads, he went with the bore repair process from accurate diesel. Most shops (and probably all dealers) would give you the line that only A $7K to $10k head option would work. They are a total class-act that have earned all my future business, which I guarantee will happen because it is a 6.0! If you are in the Glendale / Phoenix area and you are looking for a legit place to take your Powerstroke, Diesel Dermanator is the place to go.

Had a transmission replaced among other repairs. Had issues with it jerking and causing high revs…read moreright out the door. Thought it was strange being new. Did not want to take it back and cause another month on top of the two months they had it at their shop. Turns out there was crystal clear water inside my electrical connection that my wiring harness was plugged into. I sopped up the water and fixed it myself. Also had the ac replaced but it doesn't work. Never did. They said it was my fault it was leaking because of some prior damage to the front end. Why even replace it if they knew it wouldn't work? I don't recommend them and it's true they think they are hot poop in this industry and it's true they are hot poop.

As for the trouble, diagnosis, repair and overall situation of my vehicle. I had suspected the turbo blew on my 160K mile, 2011 F250 some 250 mile back. The wife was frantically (not really frantic, but I needed a word) searching for a repair shop somewhere in Phoenix . . . if we make it from the Churaico Summit on-ramp when . . . BANG ! ! !, I look down and there is no boost pressure indicating on the dash. "You might as well find us a rental nearby the repair place, as well", I say. She found us a rental place just two blocks away. Anticipating a costly and lengthy turbo charger replacement we proceeded to get ourselves a rental to compete our road trip to Corpus Cristi, Texas by way of Denver, Colorado. We pull up to SD and I speak with the service writer Jonathan, as he quickly begins surveying my vehicle. Jonathan expressed his concern for us 'already getting a rental because' . . . , as he reaches under the hood, 'these are usually' . . . "Yep! Right there". "Because I could've got you outta here in an hour and a half". Long story short, we kept the rental and Jonathan, at first, reluctantly agreed to store the vehicle for two weeks while we roadtrip in a comfortable rental without breakdown worries again. I did agree to an additional ~$350 service diagnostic to kinda help with keeping my truck for those two weeks. Upon return from our trip, I was swiftly settled with my writer and I asked about obtaining different decals I see they had on display. The writer (sorry, didn't get his name) showed me some stuff they had in their showroom and gave me a t-shirt of my choice, just not all sizes and colors. I found something that shows off their cool logo well. These guys are the legit diesel hot rod shop. Great service! Dicks
