Great place for seniors who can't take care of themselves anymore. They treat them kindly and with respect.

She helped our family navigate through a very difficult and ruses transition from California to Utah due to my brother 's stroke. He lived our mom so she could stay in her home after the death of her husband. From the moment we contacted Jacqui, she was our advocate!! We could not have done this without her!!!! Her kindness, patience and expertise astonished us!! She was also right there to help us deal with every issues that arose!!! Sheena Olsen, health services director, calmed our fears and provide top notch care to our mom. Her staff of nurses and care-givers were amazing. All of her staff have been so pleasant!! Their daily interactions with my mom helped her acclimate and calm her anxiety , they engage her with conversation and encouragement. We could not have asked for a better home away from home for our mom!!! Not only did they help make for a smooth transition for our mom, they also helped us move our brother into the Auberge from a nearby facility!!! Once my brother was over at The Auberge we really saw the Auberge team in action!!! My brother suffers from aphasia and they have been so helpful and patient when he has difficulty expressing his needs. Just yesterday Jennie Hennefer, Marketing Director, worked with the Memory-care director to help find apps that could aid my brother in communicating his needs-this is not even part of her job duties, she just jumped in when I asked whom I should speak to regarding this issue!!! I wish I could remember every staff member at The Auberge as I can not thank them enough for the warmth, professionalism and the ability to create a home for my family. As I sit in the airport awaiting my flight home, my heart is full and my prayers were answered!! Thank you for being such gems to all the residents and family members who have landed gently in your care!!! Gina Cole and our grateful family!!!

We noticed a lot of residential interaction with the staff, and they were professional, gentle and truly cared! (Working with older folks you need a lot of patience!!) The entire place is decorated with vibrant "happy" paintings and decor, along with a lot of windows! There is a lot to do if you want to: community puzzles, karaoke, art show, shuffleboard, chess, card games, trips out to shows and dinners/lunch, pickleball, art classes, daily workouts you can do in classes or on your own. Many of the residents worked or volunteered during the day. Or you can just sit and listen to a resident playing the piano! We were able to stay for a couple nights to experience what it might be like to live there. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had full kitchens - even a dishwasher! (you can cook your own meals or go to the dinning room). My husband and I were thinking of moving to Ogden as family lives there. We are in our late 60s and my hubby was limited physically for so long, he was ready to be in an active senior community to be able to socialize. "The 4 walls were closing in" not being able to move much. After his last surgery, he's been pain free and ready to live life again. When we slow down - hopefully many years from now, we will DEFINITELY consider Treeo Ogden! GREAT experience!! Beautiful city!!

I can't express in words how special Nadeen Marcus is... she is Marketing Director by title, but…read morethat's only the beginning. When searching for senior living for my mother, she was very approachable, informative and attentive, knew all the right questions to ask, and clearly her goal was *not* to get a quick close... but to make sure all the choices I made would be the best for my situation. She genuinely cares about real people making real decisions about real lives, and ensuring the *quality* of those lives is second to none. My mother moved from out of state and timing of arrival wasn't set in stone, but Nadeen kept us informed of options, checked in regularly, and made sure when the time came, that all went smoothly upon arrival. Now that mom is here, you will see Nadeen as a warm, pleasant and smiling fixture of the Parklane community, going around greeting residents... who are not just residents to her, they are family... you are made to feel right at home by her. When my mom ran into some difficult challenges, though not officially her responsibility, Nadeen went above and beyond the call of duty to check on her, reach out to myself and to other resources, and helped me understand the best options and how to navigate the best paths to these options... all a true blessing, as caring for a senior parent is new to me, and it became scary at times... Nadeen helped alleviate that stress as she knows the landscape, she knows the world of senior living and truly, truly cares. She is a very special part of The Wentworth at Parklane! You will see her helping out all around the place, bringing smiles, and a sense of safety and security to all... when she's around, you know all is ok! :-)

The other residents were mostly uncivil. More than once, I'd be walking around and feel harassed as people passed by. Sometimes the harassment shifted to their carports, where I could overhear horrible conversations about me with other people hanging around. It wasn't just uncomfortable; it made me feel unsafe and worn down. On top of that, the maintenance situation felt like a constant pressure on me. I was always being scared into fixing small cosmetic issues, as if there was always something "wrong" that needed immediate attention. I kept trying to stay on top of it, but I realized it would never truly end--every little fix would add up, and I'd be nickel-and-diming myself until I couldn't afford to keep living there. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to sell. I didn't have any clear record of being formally written up by the landlord that I was aware of, but what I did see felt indecent. The home had sold to me for an inflated price as a refurbished home with only paint jobs, and then--after I left--it was sold again to a disabled man for what seemed like dirt cheap, essentially close to tax value, even though I'd put significant improvements into the property with my own time, labor, and money even after the "makeover" before I bought it. When I looked for recourse, I found none through the legal process. In the end, the investment I put into that home and the effort I spent didn't translate into any real protection or recovery--and I was left with the sense that I had no meaningful way to make things right

Sometimes you get what you pay for, but that isn't the case here. Sure, it's the most economical choice in town, but that isn't why we love it, that's just the cherry on top. The management here is amazing and so is the staff, which includes all the various team members, reception, activities, cleaning, nursing, and property management. My mom has been at various other facilities from time to time over the last decade and we found that there were inconsistencies in each, if the facilities were great, the staff weren't, or if the staff were great, the administration wasn't, etc. But here everything is wonderful, a complete balance and it feels like a dream. My mom loves it and feels like everyone really cares here, which they honestly do. In addition, the location can't be beat. It's right downtown but doesn't feel like it on a tree lined residential street. It's half a block from the library, block and a half from her banking, 2 blocks from grocery shopping, a couple blocks from downtown shopping, the farmers market, and summer events that she can take her scooter to. Her little apartment is just what she needed in size and the other residents are so friendly and inviting as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. To be honest, I have extraordinarily high standards and am pretty hard to please, most people and places fall short....this one doesn't.
