This review is going to be about the Office Experience only. The practice itself has a good few…read moredoctors that work there, so if you're looking for a recommendation, I would look at each individual doctor. At this office, it is not uncommon to wait for over 30 minutes for your schedule appointment. While waiting, of course, patients are delighted to listen to the staff's loud conversations detailing experiences at the Medieval Times Restaurant in New Jersey, as well as personal reviews of films such as Fight Club. This lacqskadasical attitude in the workplace is indicative of a lack of passion for the job. How are doctors going to take appointments on time if their staff is slacking, laughing, and ignoring their duties? One would anticipate that Orthopedic doctors understand the need for the bones of any system to be healthy--but not here! The entire practice needs to be restructured. Too many doctors to triage and a slacking staff all leads to unhappy patients. EDIT: JUST HEARD A DOCTOR SAY "THIS IS TORTURE" THIS OFFICE PURPOSEFULLY OVERBOOKS TO MAKE MORE MONEY, NEGLECTING PATIENT EXPERIENCE AND OVERBURDENING DOCTORS' JOBS

If it's the ankle or foot, insist to get Dr. Baker. Highly, highly recommended!!! I couldn't wish for a better doctor. He's been absolutely outstanding. Before, during and after the surgery. And if you hand/wrist/carpal tunnel/joint + knuckle pains and other hand problems, consult with Dr. Alter. Highly satisfied with the diagnostics, treatment and care I received. Highly recommend OSA of North Chelmsford!

I began seeing Dr. Gerber after I had a snowmobile mishap and had a hairline fracture on my hip, resulting later in a torn meniscus because of how I favored my leg. I continue to see Dr. Gerber for Patellofemoral Syndrome a.k.a. runners knee. Dr. Gerber has worked with me on pain management, which doesn't resolve taking pain medications. He's provided me with at-home stretch exercises, as well as physical therapy. I also get bilateral knee injections to help relieve bone-on-bone degeneration. Dr. Gerber has always "listened" to how I was feeling to come up with the best treatment plan for me - no two patients are the same. When I have my office visits, Dr. Gerber always asks not just about me, but also about my son (he had a health scare 5 years ago). He also talks about his family and grandchildren (one of his daughters has twins on the way) and has another grandchild. He's an MD first of course, but also a great human who cares about his patients and overall well-being. In 2022, I moved an hour and a half away from his office. Because he is such a great MD and human, I drive an hour and a half for a 20-minute appointment which speaks volumes in itself. My husband is also a patient who has had bilateral rotor cuff/bicep tear surgery. I've always been greeted pleasantly from my arrival to the nurse escorting me, to the x-ray techs, his secretary, his PA, and so forth. Everyone makes me feel welcome, and I see the same care and respect for other patients. I will continue to be a patient of Orthopedic Surgical Associates and recommend them and Dr. Gerber for the best care. I know you won't be disappointed.
