Based on a recommendation from the front desk at our motel for a place with good margaritas we went here. Fun decor and popular place, you do park on the street in parallel parking spots but as most businesses are closed it is not a big challenge. A small Mexican food restaurant it has a good sized menu without being overwhelming. Staff was friendly and fast though in the short time we were there food and dishes were dropped two or three times. I got my usual chicken fajitas which had huge flour tortillas and large pieces of chicken which were fine but middle of the run flavor wise. A few pieces a bit dry. We got queso which again a large serving but just ok. Shana got street tacos with beef and sliced avocados on the side and Charo beans. She enjoyed it, a 4 of of 5 according to her. We did our signature move of ordering each other's first drink. She got me the Texas flag margarita and I got her the Mexican flag margarita. Mine was smooth and had a sweet taste I really enjoyed. They were layered with flag colors. It seems like a popular local place but while we were there it was busy but never overwhelming. Lots of families so heads up if kids bother you. Great food! Excellent prices! My wife really enjoys the fish burger. I like ordering off the lunch special menu, which is available the entire time there open. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I usually order the no.12 off the lunch menu. The chips and salsa are very good too! It's always very clean and they have lots of room. There was no one to greet me and I stood for several minutes waiting for some assistance. The hostess was busy, and told me to sit wherever I wanted. I wasn't feeling the "love" and almost thought that maybe I should give up on Eating Mexican tonight. However, Gracie, my server, came over with a menu, chips water and salsa. Mi Terra used to be my favorite restaurant, but it has gone downhill. Service is poor and they are very slow in bringing your food. Tables are not cleaned well.
