Until last night this was probably the only pizza place in the area that I hadn't tried yet. So, I decided to stop in and grab a pepperoni pizza for dinner. Glad I did, this is now one of my favorites in the area. Great crust, super cheesy and just greasy enough to be delicious but not gross. Location is great too, even if there isn't much parking near by(unless you are a cheater like me and combine it with a trip to CVS). On a nice day like yesterday they open up the whole front of the restaurant so it's kind of like outdoor seating. Will definitely be a return customer **April Underdog Challenge Day 16**

    Ridiculous pizza.

I have been ordering from Emilios for YEARS. EVEN turned my friends and family onto them . The past few times though ... the pizza was ridiculously oily and the cheese was slid to one side as if they held it sideways. I dealt with it until today. I called and explained... and rather than just give me credit for next time... they wanted me to wait another 45 minutes ftie a new one and send the old one back. Ridiculous. I will not be ordering from them ever again.... Nor will my family or friends.

    Chef Salad; Fool me once...

OMG, what a terrible disappointment I got last night when our delivery order arrived late and cold. I simply wanted a Lasagna and a chef salad. Instead I received a plate of lettuce with a couple of slices of tomato (that's it, nothing else) and a badly made "lasagna"; the sauce was watered down, it lacked meat and mozzarella but they made it up with a watery mix of ricotta. I couldn't eat it with a fork; it all slid right off. I needed a spoon to collect the mush that they put together. Eventually I put it all in a blender and fed it to the dogs. Guess what, they didn't want it either. Oh I almost forgot, the bread they sent with the mush, it was terribly hard and for what I paid, they should have sent an entire baguette, instead they ripped a piece about 4" in size. Having recently moved to the area, I expected better that what I received. If you can't cook Italian, don't do business in a predominant Italian / Irish neighborhood. Loyalty comes from not only good friends; it must have good service and an excellent product. Those who give this "establishment" their loyalty and continued business, lack a sense of taste, expectations and self respect...

They make the best grandma pizza. They also have good garlic knots. It is always on point. The service is good.

The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I enjoy the Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks & deserts! I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray

It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome.
