I met with 4 plastic surgeons in the area but knew very quickly I wanted Dr Hu to do my tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo.

Over the years, I kept thinking about it but didn't have the money or I felt I needed to lose "x" amount of weight. Well at 48, I was in a great place financially, found the Love of my Life and my Life Partner and he loved me just the way I was physically. But... I decided to go for it because I knew it would make me feel better about ME. Dr Connall was recommended to me by a friend who saw him for a tummy tuck (among other things) and she raved about him. I looked online and was impressed that you could actually get a real quote from the site and the price included all pre & post op appointments and the anesthesia - there are NO hidden fees. I scheduled my appointment and after my consultation, I felt exactly the same about him and his team. I happily scheduled my appointment and then Covid struck hard. So after 3 months from the original appointment, I was finally able to get it done in June. I couldn't be happier with the results! I was in minimal pain and the pain pills prescribed to me were fine and I had enough of them. You leave in a minimal support front closed bra and after the first day, I took it off and haven't worn a bra since! I was off work for 5 days - I work at a desk in front of a computer - and that was fine. You will be feeling great after the 2nd day and you do need to remember that you just had surgery and to not do too much. Dr Connall called within a week to check on me and I just had my first in person follow up yesterday. He was happy with how things were healing and the progress of the implant settling. However, warning...if you are going significantly bigger...please remember that you will have chest muscle swelling and the breast skin needs to stretch for the implants to fall and settle. For some reason I thought I would look like Barbie right after...ummm...no...lol. But I am 5 weeks after surgery and they look great now and I know will look even better in the next few months. I would also recommend getting some nipple cream as they will get super sensitive as the skin stretches also. I found some organic breastfeeding nipple cream on Amazon and it has been amazing. All in all....if you ever thought you wanted to have it done...DO IT!!! I am so happy with the results and super happy I chose Dr Connall and his team!

A Cautionary Story -- What I Wish I'd Known Before My Breast Augmentation…read more In 2022, I finally decided to get my breast augmentation -- something I had dreamed about for years. I did my research carefully and chose this clinic because the surgeon promoted a "unique technique" that supposedly eliminates the need for a post-surgical compression bra during recovery. That promise was a huge part of why I trusted him with my body. At first, everything seemed fine. But once the swelling settled and I began to really look at my results, I noticed something was off. My left breast had shifted far to the side -- so much that when I lie flat, it literally slides toward the outer edge of my body. Standing up without a bra, my breasts sit noticeably wide apart. When I put on a bra and pull them together, I love the look. But without it, the symmetry and shape are disappointing -- and completely opposite of what I was told to expect. When I shared my concern during my final follow-up, the surgeon brushed it off with, "Side boob is a good look." Maybe for some women it is, but not when one breast has migrated halfway toward my armpit. That's not style -- that's structure gone wrong. I waited a few years to be sure my body had healed before reaching out again, hoping for an honest conversation about possible correction. Instead, I was told I'd have to pay $190 just for a consultation -- and that they don't offer complimentary post-surgery implant checks, even years later. I had assumed they would at least verify that the implants were still properly positioned and safe. For context, most women are required to wear a post-surgical compression bra (a supportive medical garment that holds the implants in place and helps the chest heal evenly). I wasn't asked to wear one because the surgeon claimed his "no-bra recovery method" made it unnecessary. In hindsight, I wish I had worn one anyway -- it might have prevented my outcome.

Nice, professional practice | Sarah is knowledgeable…read more I didn't receive any treatment from here. I went in collecting information to see if a treatment would be right for my concerns. I've never had any botox, filler, or any cosmetic surgeries done, but I was interested in potentially getting a Radiesse injection to a superficial acne scar on my chin. This place is very professional and in a great location. From the very beginning, I was impressed with being able to get a consultation appointment within a few days as a new client. I was given two options: $200 consultation with Dr. Burgess or complimentary with a nurse. I chose a complimentary consultation with a nurse. The office is very neat, clean, offers a good selection of reputable skincare lines, and Dr. Burgess's magazine in the lobby. And prior to my appointment, paperwork was done online to streamline the appointment process. They're very efficient. My nurse was Sarah, who was very polite and knowledgeable. We talked about my health history, my skin concerns, and she took photos of my face for their files. She was thorough throughout the process. After examining my scar, she determined that my scar was superficial and Radiesse would do more harm than any improvement. She recommended EZ gel, which is a more natural injection with less risk of lumps/bumps since it comprises of my own blood. I really liked her suggestion. She said that EZ gel is best done in a series, so I would start with 3 spaced 4-6 weeks. Each injection is $1000. Sarah worked with stroke patients before working at this practice. She has a lot of experience with EZ gel, so I felt comfortable going with her. Financing is available. They accept credit cards, cash, HSA, and a Care Credit. You can apply for this credit card and set up a payment plan with that. I spoke with Maya also, and while she answered any further questions I had, I just didn't feel encouraged to book my injection appointment after speaking with her. Overall, I had a good experience and was impressed with this office.

In fact, another plastic surgeon in the area declined to take my case because it was too complicated. Dr. Burgess has incredible skill in reconstructive surgery, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I appreciated that she was straight forward and was honest with me. She explained exactly what needed to be done to achieve the best long-term outcome, not just what I wanted to hear. During another consultation elsewhere, I was repeatedly asked what I wanted and was told, "We can try it and see how it goes." That wasn't the guidance I needed. I wanted an experienced surgeon to tell me the best approach to prevent this from happening again. I'm so grateful that I trusted Dr. Burgess. My results are beautiful, I feel so much better, and I have complete confidence that she made the right decisions for my care. If you have a complicated breast surgery or reconstructive case, she is absolutely the surgeon I would recommend.

The system was so small I had two inches of baldness around my head. If the wind stirred or if I tried to put my glasses on the baldness showed. The next system with a new stylist was cut 1/2 inch shorter than my own hair in the back. No way to cover that up. Third system was so large I couldn't put my glasses on nor bend my head back. I got the local salon to say my contract was canceled and that I didn't owe any more money. But I still owe about $3,000 and I have been told that I have to go through their corporate to get it settled. I can't get them to respond. Stay away ! Get a wig.

Hair systems that are the wrong color. Difficult scheduling appointments and/or appointments cancelled at the last minute. That last part is what really has me very unhappy. These people can't seem to schedule us for our monthly service of which we pay good money. Really, two well paying customers who quite often gets our appointments cancelled. WE SPEND $1000.00 A MONTH AT THIS BUSINESS. The other day I spoke with the manager. I called him and he told me that he wanted to help. After talking for a couple of minutes, he told me he needed to reboot a computer and that he would call me back once the computer was back up and running. Guess what? He never called back. I called again. Maritza, the front desk manager, was very apologetic. I told her about how the manager blew me off. Something makes me think that's not the first time she's heard that from a customer. I've noticed that there seems to be some poor morale at this place. My stylist, Anna, is great, but she seems burnt out. So does Maritza. The whole vibe of the place has been "off" for awhile. What's happening is that there's probably a chintzy franchise owner who pays these people terribly, all while complaining that "no one wants to work anymore!" They can't keep stylists. I've seen so many stylists come and go in the past two years. This place feels like a sinking ship and they're about to lose two very well paying customers. I feel sorry for the employees. They deserve so much better. If you're thinking of using this service, please do some research. There are companies online that sell quality and customized hair pieces and there are local stylists who will work with men's hair pieces. That's what we're going to do. For quite sometime now, I just feel that the unsatisfactory level of service they've provided is far, far from commensurate with the amount of money we've spent.
