On the real though, I went for some edible drinks and they were stocked with Lagunitas which was what I was after. I went into the store and thankfully snagged a parking spot right outside. But they don't have their own parking lot so I could see that becoming an issue for some. Check in was quick and was able to snag my items I pre-ordered pretty quickly. They were having some kiosk issues but no real problems waiting from my end. An hour later it was updated to 3pm-350pm which was totally acceptable. Around 2, I get an email saying one of my items is now sold out and would I like to add anything else. I tried to respond and substitute with another product but each time I replied to their email, it got bounced back as undeliverable. I've never seen as big of a product selection as Emjay offers, for delivery after all! I'm a bit overwhelmed by the variety of products available, but their website is pretty helpful in guiding a new user with little to no experience to pick the products they want. There was a little hiccup that I uploaded a picture of my feet accidentally (don't ask me how) instead of the back of my ID, but their customer service staff was quick to reach out to fix the situation. When it comes time to the delivery, my courier was a delight. She arrived at my location 3 minutes within ETA, she was professional, knowledgeable in the products and most importantly, very aware of necessary steps to take to protect me and herself from the COVID pandemic. I can't be happier with my experience with Emjay, you get great quality products, second to none service at some very competitive price. I called the number about 3 times and was not able to reach anyone in customer service. It ended up putting me on voicemail. I didn't reach anyone until I emailed around 6pm. Even when I emailed, they told me it would be another 40 mins until they came. On the order confirmation screen, it shows a map of your delivery address but NO track of the driver. What is the point of the confirmation screen if there isn't an ETA or a tracker of the driver? Showed absolutely no useful information. My specific search was for Tyson Ranch Toad- an Indica that they just got back in stock. It ranges in the 36% THC level (highest I have ever seen) for just pure flowers. I have to say, I was beautifully super faded after I twisted up a doob and choked on it for a bit. Their Jeeter Infused Joints are kick butt too. Another thing about the site is every product, for the most part, shows the THC content and the strain that it is. Makes the selection process pretty simple. I like simple! Never had an issue with my delivery but i mainly order scheduled. Delays sometimes are expected with LA traffic but despite that I've only had a late delivery once or twice when ordering ASAP. Lowering my review to one star because after not ordering for at least a week or two, I am STILL getting spam texts. Much less so, but still a couple of times every few days. Went back to the store, listed every business that has my number, tried to find any other reason for this and there really is none. It makes the most sense to me, the employees at at&t and at apple that emjay's system has somehow made my number go into the universe. This is all after going to multiple stores and talking to multiple people. This is a huge headache for me. Not only did I have to deal with getting literally bombarded with texts after the initial text from emjay, but it's a problem that is continuing to persist apparently now that my number is out there somehow. Inflated taxes and super slow delivery. The site says they open at 9am and deliver within 2 hours, but if you try to order at 9am there are no drivers so you can't get it delivered right away. You actually have to schedule if for later and the earliest arrival slot the site will let you select is noon. So 3 hour delivery not 2 hours, and why open at 9am if you can't help anyone until the afternoon? Doesn't make any sense, time to switch it up and go elsewhere. read more

I called the courier right away and he said he didn't have what I wanted with him but I should email Emjay and let them know what happened. I heard back - It is their sales policy that once delivered, all sales are final. The courier didn't say that when handing me my product - I'm not blaming him as I'm sure it wasn't something he was trained to do. But if this is the rule, it should be stated upon receiving the items. I said I would purchase another item to make the swap out worth everyone's time (as this is delivery only) but there was no budging. How is this proper customer service? First of all it took 3 hours for the delivery, not the 45 minutes I was quoted. Additionally, I'm not sure who stands on their sidewalk and goes through their weed delivery with the courier? If this is their stand hard rule, the courier should suggest we look through our bag upon receipt to ensure everything is correct. The selection is awesome! The thing that made me decide that I would never get delivery from this place after I used my credit, were the ridiculously high taxes. I put $152 worth of stuff in my cart and the tax was $111 dollars. I actually started laughing. Do people not know that other weed delivery services have much lower taxes? Like...almost 50% lower! And I'm talking about for recreational use, not medical. I put the same items in my cart at another delivery place I frequent and the tax was $62 The selection at Emjay is great but the tax amount should never be almost the same amount as the total of your items. I feel like they are taking advantage of novice buyers and I'm not okay with that hence leaving this review. If you don't mind paying inflated taxes, the selection is vast, so it might be worth it to you. I wanted to try a delivery service but the website gave me a lot of trouble, just not working, even with adblock off and on different browsers. When I finally got it to work, I got to the "scan ID" portion and tried to use TWO different phones to scan and both were left processing the images for so long (over 5 minutes) I gave up. So I can't even comment on the actual delivery since I can't get it since it won't let me upload my ID. I'd gladly scan it to my PC and upload it as jpeg like a normal site or something, but there's no option to do that. Oh well, taking my money elsewhere I guess. read more

Great customer service. They reached out when my ID scan on the order didn't process. This allowed me to resubmit it and my order still got to me on time. The delivery person was efficient and thorough. He made sure I checked my bag to see if I had everything I ordered. The prices are great. The same products as other dispensaries but more affordable.
