Their mechanic can not even check the compression of a cylinder correctly....they "checked" 3 cylinders and were wrong on all three. Way off. They then refused to service my pickup because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, but were willing to charge me even though it was their mistake. The other place figured it out in less than an hour and had me on the road in 3 hours, even without an appointment!. Emory had the truck for 5 days and also charged me $362.48 and didn't fix anything! Then when the "regional manager" says to call him, he doesn't answer his phone and his vmail is full so you basically get hung up on. What a way to run a business. Do yourself a favor and go some place else.

My only complaint is that they took off my out of state front vanity plate to pass inspection. That was not necessary, as I asked a State police man if that was an issue and he said no, because Pa does not have front license plate. So, I just put it back on. They had some staffing issues due to COVID-19, which screwed things up a bit because I had to take off of work twice for an inspection. That ticked me off a bit. The shop owner said he tried calling me, but I had no missed calls, so....? Oh well, they're right around the corner and convenient. Plus, you can go to Gilligan's for beer & food while your car is being worked on.

I'm deeply saddened that this happened to us and that we had this type of experience. Now we have mixed opinions about if we will return or not. But just beware.

Army family just moved to Harrisburg area and took my 2012 Honda Odyssey here for hesitation,…read moreacceleration issues, and a flashing check engine light. I was told by Connor all 3 catalytic converters needed replacing for about $2,504. I bought my own parts to save $673, but labor was increased from original 4 hours to 8 hours, bringing the total right back to around $2,571. When I picked up my vehicle after hours, the battery was dead, and thankfully my 3 year old & I werent stranded with my husband waiting. The next day, I was told, "Oh, we forgot to tell you the battery might have issues." Within 30 minutes of driving home, the same problem returned. After doing my own research, I learned it was actually coil #2 & spark plug -- not the catalytic converters. The shop (Brad) agreed to do the coil replacement for free if I provided the parts, but I was still charged $60 by Connor. Its been 2 weeks and no issues, it was the coil & plug. I also saw Connor going through a customer's glove box, reading their stuff which was concerning. In my experience, this shop misdiagnosed the issue, overcharged for labor, failed to fix the original problem, and did not honor their verbal agreement. I will not be returning and cannot recommend them. A $60 fix for $2631.

I told her that's impossible, I texted my husband 7/23 & wrote on calendar. She said well I cant get you in now until 8/21. I thought that was too far ahead & she put our appt incorrectly. We went elsewhere (Crowne Auto next day appt) so we didnt have a chance to use their service. Rep should write in appts as she gives them on the phone to better organize for future clients.
