While he was there, I mentioned that I want to have my foundation wall finished with stucco. He told me he has a guy who can do that too. Well, I got a couple of other quotes from others and I knew after that Stan was the right guy for the job. His numbers are very reasonable and I can tell he knew what he was doing. From the moment Paul came to our home to inspect our old, leaking skylight, we knew we were dealing with a company that values professionalism and integrity. Paul didn't just go up on the roof and look at the skylight--he inspected our entire roof. He found a section with missing shingles and included that repair at no additional charge. The crew replaced our skylight along with the extensive rotted roof sheathing around it. While they were on the roof, they sealed a vent pipe and a second skylight--all at no additional charge because, as they told us, they just wanted to make sure our roof was protected. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. They provided photos and videos before, during, and after the work, so we could see every step of the project. Mike, the outstanding on-site supervisor, checked in with us repeatedly, answered every question, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. He was so professional. Mike and his crew also left everything absolutely spotless--the roof, deck, driveway, yard, and even the bedroom beneath the skylight looked as though they had never been there, except for our beautiful new Velux skylight. We've hired many contractors over the years, and this was genuinely one of the best experiences we've ever had. By chance, the electric company stopped by the next day to check my meter, and started banging on my door to ask what in the world was up with my electric meter/box. They said the metal was so bent that even if I had the cover, it wouldn't fit back on. It turns out that anyone walking by who touched it could've gotten an electric shock! The electric company wanted to shut off the power to my entire house immediately - it was that serious - but since it was in the winter they didn't. The electric company was kind enough to wrap a tarp around the box, since any rain or snow getting in could cause extensive damage, including frying my whole electrical panel. It turned out that MightyDog had done extensive electrical work without an electrical permit, and by people who were not licensed to do that work. They had to pay thousands of dollars to an emergency Electrician; I appreciate that they paid it, but that's how bad it was. They also did extensive damage to my mini splits, which they refuse to take responsibility for. I think they did a good job on my roof, but I can't in good conscience recommend this business.

Our project remains uncompleted with a mudroom without a roof, despite us having paid the full amount of $13,000 for the project. What is most unacceptable is the complete breakdown of communication. Over the past few months, we have placed numerous calls and sent multiple emails; however, they have become entirely unresponsive, only occasionally replying to give us false completion dates. We were promised a timely and professional service, and instead, we are left with an unfinished job and a vendor who has essentially abandoned the project. This lack of accountability and disregard for a paying client is alarming. I cannot recommend Senco Home Services to anyone who values clear communication and project completion. Avoid the stress and look elsewhere.

In January 2023 I signed a contract for a new roof and in April paid the $4,900 deposit, but I…read morenever heard back about the install date despite repeated attempts to contact them. On May 27, 2023, I notified them that I had filed a Fraud Claim with my Bank to recoup the deposit, and that got their attention and they scheduled the installation for early July. There was minor damage done to an attic fan and a gutter issue they were supposed to fix during the installation. In October 2023 there was a (new) significant leak that caused over $1,000 in interior damage. They finally sent someone to fix the roofing issue but never sent the electrician to fix the fan. In February 2024, Chris showed up and explained what else he was going to do to fix the leak issue including re-routing a gutter and making a downspout larger. Between July 5, 2023 and May 15, 2024, I sent dozens of emails and texts and made multiple phone calls to three people at SENCO. In May 2024 I threatened to file claims here, with the Better Business Bureau, and the Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce. Within days they called me to say they would be by within the week to make things right. I haven't heard from them since. If you hire SENCO, expect to pay out of pocket for any damages.

The stairs are uneven. The footings aren't footings - they're placed on rocks...INDIVIDUAL ROCKS. He didn't even attempt to screw the bolts into the house - they're literally just hanging off. Multiple times he had to postpone scheduled workdays because he was in 'small claims court'. On 2 occasions he told us "he got lost" not the way to our house, which he had been to multiple times before. He refused to return my calls, my husband's calls, and my sister's calls. I know that he tried but I was questioning his skill level at times when he'd forget various things during the progress of the work. I won't argue about his interpersonal skills as I like him, which is why I was surprised that he ghosted me. However, the work that was done in my place is not as promised and I'm going to wait until Spring to find another contractor to come and fix some of the tiles that are falling a part. My linen closet won't be recovered and I learned to ensure that all the work is done before I give the rest of the payment.
