I had placed an online order for pickup. I picked up my food went back to my humble abode, opened the bag, and to my surprise I had not received the bagel I had ordered. I ordered a lox deluxe(salmon, capers, tomato, onion) I had payed extra for cucumbers as well. When i opened my bagel all there was, was cream cheese salmon and one tomato slice. Mind you the other sandwich for my boyfriend was made exactly how ordered( he had more modifications than me). I tried to call the store back several times but kept getting sent to voicemail, Which was also full so I couldn't even leave a message. The bagel was alright, staff were fine, shop was fine. I payed $15 for a bagel i didn't even order or get my moneys worth. This incident ruined my life and my marriage. read more

I was a bit disappointed in this bagel spot. It seemed like one person was doing everything (which looked like it could be stressful for the employee if more than one person needs to be served) and although my family and I were the only people ordering to dine in, it still took over 20 minutes for bagels toasted with butter and two iced coffees. I saw that they had an espresso machine and espresso beverages on the menu but was disappointed to find out that they don't use it and make lattes with iced coffee instead. I'd recommend taking espresso beverages off the menu if all drinks are made with iced/hot coffee regardless, why have the up-charge for a "latte". The bagel toasted with peanut butter that we ordered had peanut butter only put on half as well which seemed odd. What a surprise when my order was entered and the total before tax was $7.50 this represents a 25% increase from my same purchase about 2 weeks ago at $2.00 per bagel. Not long ago I opted to sign up for the rewards program, received a nice reward for the earlier purchase however, this time your system refused to give me the $2 reward that was clearly on the screen. I am so happy we stopped here! I can't believe I hadn't been to Empire Bagel Factory sooner! To start off, the bagel shop is super cute and clean. And when you walk in, you're greeted by the smiling staff. Max, Grace, and Jason helped us out today. They were helpful, patient, efficient and so friendly!! Next, the bagels were soooo yummy! My in-laws are from New York, and they know good bagels... and they were SO impressed by these! We loved them so much! The cinnamon raisin and sesame were delicious, and we can't wait to come back and try different flavors. The cream cheese was also so fresh! Lastly, the coffee was superb. My husband loved the hot coffee, but I LOVED the iced coffee. The best thing is that they have coffee ice cubes, so you can sip it all morning without having to worry about it melting and getting watered down! Eh. If reviewed were one word.. that would be it. Eh. The bagels, eh. Coffee, eh. Staff, eh. Dining area, eh. Even attention to detail on Uber Eats and Grubhub orders, eh. The bagels don't taste like they're being made on site. In face they don't taste like they're being made anywhere nearby or even recently. My best guess is that the bagels are coming in par baked and frozen for the staff to finish off before serving. Although everyone I've met in Naples has been friendly and respectful, not here. On a Sunday 11:am, there were a few customers ahead of us, we ordered a lox bagel, and a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese, nothing with cooked ingredients. It took quite a while to receive the order roughly 20 or more minutes. It seemed like they could use another person to help get the orders out a bit faster. The bagels were good almost an airy texture. The lox bagel ingredient quality was very good and a decent amount of ingredients I would order it again if I were in town. I informed the person at the counter. Stopped by today and the soap dispenser was filled with water, no soap. I asked the person up front if that is the same restroom employees use and she said it was. I told her about the situation, told her not to even bother with a refund and left without my food. Disgusting! These people are making food for the general public. If you want employees using the restroom and not using soap, this is your place. Everyone is nice and welcoming, and of course the food was amazing I got the Lox Bagel and it was so delicious I can't even explain it. Toasted just right and an amazing amount of cream cheese. They do not skimp out on the cream cheese! The turkey club was delicious! The size of it was huge!! I love love their bagels, I just found this place two weeks ago and have been back almost weekly. I love their salmon bagel and the bacon one too. I haven't tried their coffee just yet. Chairs are the most comfortable, but this won't stop me from coming in. Also I just wish this place was cleaner, I'm a professional cleaner and can see it hasn't been deep clean or kept up in a while.
