I bought a 2023 Husqvarna FE350S from Empire a few months ago. It is my first bike in a few years after getting away from street bikes so I wanted a nice versatile street/dirt bike. Anyhow, I elected to add a few extra bits on it since it was the middle of December when I bought it and wouldn't be able to ride it for a while anyways. Amy, Joe, and Tony in service were very accommodative and Kevin in sales was a very pleasant individual and I feel got me the perfect bike for my needs. The owner, Kristin personally delivered the bike to me along with another large order for some gear I ordered which I feel she went over and above on. The gear (Husqvarna pants, jackets, etc.) completely exceeded my expectations in quality, and I rarely say something like that nowadays. They have since added some more upgrades to the bike and fixed a minor issue for me that occurred. Some of the 1-star reviews I see were from a few years ago and I believe this is a whole new owner(s), service team and salespeople. I traded in my well-used Honda ST1100 and bought a used Yamaha FJR1300. Kevin, the sales manager, showed me all the used motorcycles. We talked about the bikes and swapped motorcycle stories. He was knowledgeable and helpful. There was no pressure. I was well treated. I decided to get the motorcycle a few days later. I called and he held the motorcycle for me. When I went to pick it up they did a final check - air pressure, lights, etc. They added a couple of gallons of gas and I was good to go. Empire services all types of motorcycles even though they are not a dealer. This is in contrast to the local Honda dealer who only services Hondas less than ten years old. I feel confident that the Yamaha will be properly serviced should the need arise. They are definitely a five star dealer and shop! read more

My bike needed a new tire, so I decided to give Empire Cycle a try. I called to see if they had the tire I needed in stock. No dice. Luckily Cycle Gear just down the street had one on the rack. I asked about getting an install at Empire in a few hours and was told "no problem, just show up". I live across town, so traveling to Cycle Gear and Empire Cycle is only a minor inconvenience. The other being I had to carry a tire while riding my bike from CG to Empire. I arrived and was directed to the service desk where the attendant was on the phone. After I had waited for several minutes to get off, another person walked in and waited also. The service department employee finally got off the phone and asked how he could help us. It turns out that the other gentleman was there to pick up keys for the employee's car for service. I was brushed aside while these two rambles on about his car keys. So much for the customer coming first. With tire in hand I told him I was there to have it installed. He immediately asked "Do you have an appointment?" When I told him no, he groaned and said "oooh, I'm gonna get the stink eye from the guys in the shop". All I really wanted to know was if this was going to happen or not, as I'm standing in full gear holding a tire, which I don't care to haul all the way across town. They did end up installing it in about an hour, and it all ended well. But you have to wonder why this was kind of a headache. I felt like I had done my part in researching, but I didn't really get as good of service as I would have liked. read more

This place is wonderful. They are helpful, knowledgeable and great to work with. I broke a part on my sled once, called Kristen from the top of the mountain and asked if she could leave me a part outside, which she did! I picked up the part and paid them the next time I was in town, NOW that's great customer service!' we called again one time, YES on the mountain and needed oil so we could go again on Sunday, and yes we got oil AFTER HOURS. We go in there just to visit at times if we are in town. the prices are great, they have a ton of good quality apparel and gear in stock and if you need anything they will get it. i just cant say enough good about them, They always treat us great!! The crew at Empire Cycle will always have a spot in my heart as this is where I bought my first bike....EVER. John, the primary sales associate is knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy in the least bit, I believe it is because he knows the quality of every machine in there sells itself, he doesn't need to do anything except help guide you to the bike or scooter that fits you and your style. When shopping for my first bike he basically encouraged me to go big or go home, and not to be afraid of more power just because I was a new rider. I listened to him and have no regrets after 3 years of riding my Triumph Storm 1700CC. Its a cruiser that corners and performs like sport bike and makes me hate winter when I have to put it away in the garage! The mechanics who have had my bike in there for a flat tire, and an accident involving a driver turning in front of me, are always friendly and receptive to questions and explaining to me why they do what they do. Their knowledge base on fixing these complex machines shows Empire has invested some quality training into these folks. Their cost and the parts truly make me grateful I did not buy a Harley (with Chinese made hoses and wires-not all American made don't kid yourself) The heart and soul of the Empire operation are Bob and Debbie, who have created a business that treats you like extended family once you are a rider of one of their products. I know on almost any given day I can stop by to browse accessories or ask questions and John, Bob or Debbie will assist me and treat me like I am the only person in the showroom. I would recommend this business to everyone who rides or is wanting to learn to ride (they have special programs and buying incentives for completing your state motorcycle safety course). Bought new Aprilia here. Have been back in for service and parts many times. Sales staff was dishonest and rude. Service department didn't meet deadlines they stated. Things as simple as buying a oil filter from them takes 20+ minutes due their incompetence. Bad overall experience every-time. read more

I was in dire straits trying to locate a tachometer for my Triumph Bonnie over the whole United States, but to no avail. A parts dealer in nearby San Diego told me to check Amazon. Sure enough, Empire Cycle had the part I requested and sent one to me pronto! Unfortunately on my part, I ordered a tach that was not the right number (given wrong info). Cheryl, the general manager was totally awesome and let me return the part, even though I just missed the month cutoff. She even helped me find two other dealers in the U.S. who supposedly have the RIGHT part (sorry, Cheryl, Los Angeles Triumph DIDN'T have it, even tho' their inventory shows they do). I think I would like to purchase some Triumph saddlebags, and I will go through Empire! read more

I worked in the motorcycle industry years ago and this place is how a dealership Should be. I purchased a new 2017 Triumph T120 (my 3rd ) 1st from this dealership and traded in my Sportster and was treated very fairly on both ends of the deal. Got great prices on my accessories and service ( the service tech even came out and introduced himself and took me to check out my new bike. In all my years I can only recall 1 time (I'm 61, this aint my 1st rodeo) I was treated like there was a relationship being built, my business,I was important to them. My hats off to Kristin and Kris for building this type business model. I was looking at another dealer to buy a new SxS next spring...I will be going back to Empire for that also...why? I saw an ad on Cycle Trader for the exact bike I had been seeking, so my wife and I combined a Seattle vacation road trip with shopping at Empire. We drove up to visit friends and decided to also zip (!) over to Spokane Valley to have a look. Kevin in sales was really helpful and offered a test ride of the 2009 Moto Guzzi Norge I was interested in. I had to have it, so he and Ariel in F&I made it happen. After Service put on a new rear tire, I rode the bike back to Seattle that evening and home to the Palm Springs, CA area over two days. Not happy with the service we received at empire. We were ignored for over 45 minutes. The bike we wanted was not put together, so we requested the Husqvarna 500 to be put together for my husband before fathers day. As it was his gift. On top of our stellar service the salesman that was to lazy to get up from his desk to come help, we had to go to him. I had to call in, as we had not got the call we were promised, and was told it would be mid week as they got busy with other sales that came in. (So mine wasn't important?) Nice! Midweek rolled around no call... End of week rolled around no call... The only person who delivered service at all was actually on maternity leave, and we were taken away from her :( .. Needless to say I am not happy and when I went to Idaho I bought my husband his father's day gift over week late at Grizzly Motorsports where we received customer service above and beyond! read more
