My original review which seemed to help quite of few people was taken down for violating Yelp's Terms of Service. Bravo "doctor"! Not sure what verbiage triggered the violation considering it was only an account of exactly what happened. So, instead I figured I would give a very EXPLICIT ACCOUNT of my experience with the "traveling doctor." Avoid this guy at all costs. I was having significant foot pain as result of an injury decades ago on the 5th metatarsal. The doctor IMMEDIATELY "diagnosed" my ankle with a stand test. This "diagnosis" was later denied in a particularly awkward way. "Doctor" J was so excited to show how right he was and when the MRI technician joined the phone call, he immediately said ligament looks fine. What a joke. Did I mention I went in for foot pain? But, here we are doing ankle stuff. So, I originally deny the lateral ligament surgery and ask him to just shave down the base of the 5th metatarsal; as a result of the original trauma the 5th met stuck out quite a bit making something as simple as shoe wearing a daunting task because of constant friction. He said sure no problem but wouldn't let the ligament procedure go. He convinces me that it would dramatically improve my condition. Ok, he's a doctor...he wouldn't perform a surgery that was unnecessary. I decide to confide in "Dr." J's assessment. Oh, and Peter "I'm going to hook you up with PRP for faster recovery...normally this would cost an extra thousand but I'll do it for free." Yes, it is offered to everyone to make them feel special. Sorry, you're not special, it's just his schtick. Surgery day. (1st surgical procedure in my life...I'm 42.) Most uncomfortable and awkward process I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED hands down. The "doctor" comes into the pre-op with his phone in hand and starts shooting a video review. WTF is happening at this moment? I'm here for an operation and we're shooting a promo video. Seriously? Maybe, he felt this was acceptable since he made it seem like he was doing me a favor by charging me 2k for the procedure. My out of pocket for out of network procedures is 2k. I should also mention that he requested this payment in cash... the ONLY reason for requesting this is to avoid a trail of the transaction. But I digress, wake up after surgery to crap being drawn all over the leg bandages. Ok...whatever. Let the recovery begin! Riding high on excitement for the possibility of pain free days, it's time to remove the bandages and begin physical therapy to improve mobility. I am a corrective exercise specialist, and a good one at that, so the recovery should be straightforward. Several months after the procedure, I noticed the bone protrusion on the side of my foot was 0% better. The exact same malignant friction whilst wearing shoes. That was the ONE thing I willfully paid for to have surgically completed, and it was a flop. Then there's the question of the incision...did the guy use a badger to cut into my foot?!? The scars are thick, dark red, and jagged. So, of course I have to go back to the guy to discuss the outcome. He agrees that the 5th met is still protruding and agrees to operate again. Concerned about his pricing methods I asked him how much it would cost. He made it seem as he was doing me a big favor by not charging me to operate again. Then as he was talking to his office manager to schedule the procedure, he refers to me as neurotic. No, you donkey, I still very clearly have a protrusion that I paid $2k to have lessened and nothing. Surgical Do-Over Day. No surprise here. F*cking guy walks in with a camera and tells the nurse to start filming over but with him walking into the room through the door, for dramatic effect I guess. Did I mention, he decided to operate on the head of my 5th metatarsal just because. Several days after surgery, I removed the bandages to confirm something was actually done. There was a noticeable difference on the protrusion and an UNEEDED scar on the head of the 5th met. Fast forward a year, significant foot pain still. I went back to this doctor. He comes into the room and tells his assistant that I'm not gay, so don't bother. Awkward. Immediately without any MRI, "I know the problem, your suture from your previous surgery fell out, we need to do another ligament repair, this one will last till you die." Haha joke is on me because I can "feel" the suture in the ankle. No manner of stretching, strengthening, or mobility improves it. Did I mention that this "dr" pulls out a spread sheet to show me exactly how many lateral ligament surgeries he has to perform to cover his "monthly nut." Are you f*cking kidding me? Why show me this? I still have foot pain...but now I have added scars and a nagging pull at my ankle. I would unequivocally recommend that you seek anybody else's professional advice when it comes to your feet; his only interest is collecting off of your insurance. I regret ever meeting him or having him touch my foot. read more

It's incredibly frustrating to wait on the line for so long--sometimes over 20 minutes--only to end up hanging up because no one ever returns. Communication is a basic expectation in any medical office, and this ongoing issue makes it nearly impossible to get the care or information I need. Also, the employee who does there referrals DOES not do her job and she does not answer her phone. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make improvements.
