The old furnace in my house went out a couple months ago and I decided to pull the trigger and invest in a ductless heating and air unit before the end of the year. I'm one of those guys that has to do his due diligence before buying anything, so I froze for a few weeks while I did my research and got a half dozen quotes and assessments to figure out my options. Gary from Smart Home was the second to last one to come out and do a walkthrough, and while just about everyone seemed solid, I appreciated his straightforward and honest approach. He was also the only one to talk about placement options for the 4 heads that seemed to be the most efficient and which appeared to require some creative thinking. With the Holiday madness, it took me a while to find the time to go over all of the quotes I received from everyone. Just about every company kept calling or emailing me every few days to push me into pulling the trigger with them. Gary didn't, which goes a long way in my book. And, when I had the time to compare all of the proposals his was the lowest, by $2,000-$2,500 in a couple cases. After comparing the particular units that each company was going to install, I found that his proposal included one of the highest quality and most efficient heating and air ductless units on the market, so I was sold. We quickly arranged to have a team come out there and install everything a few days later, but when they showed up, because my house is small and funky, the team realized that we would have difficulty installing the condensor where it typically would go. No problem. Gary called me that morning and we again went over creative solutions about where to install it. We decided on mounting the unit up on the back of the house, they got the necessary mounting bracket in two days and had everything installed that day. And they even decided to wave the extra cost of the mounting unit, which I was happy to pay for. Anyway, it's not every day that you can find a contractor of this quality to work with who is honest, straightforward and not pushy. The unit works great, I'm warm again and I'll be recommending these guys to everyone I know. I couldn't be happier.

He didn't answer with a business name and sounded out of it. I asked if he was Property Masters just in case I had misdialed. He confirmed that I dialed correctly. I proceeded to give a brief description of the RFP. He said he didn't remember anything about the Yelp request and the line went dead. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called back. He didn't pick up. I'd like to thank him for showing me the real picture of his work habits before I hired him. I've had more than enough losers, stoners, under-skilled and/or time-wasters that claim to be professionals but aren't on-time, reliable tradespeople. Sound asleep at 3:30 p.m. isn't my idea of someone that actually works on indoor construction.

The approval n By FPL and local government took months of repeated visits before they got it right. Service to my panels was slow and plagued by poor communication when several inverters initially failed. Even though their bid price was lowest I would not choose them because of long-distance incompetence.

You borrow for the rehab money because you got the home at such a good price. You take the down payment to title company and list where asked whose the lender and you put David Oldenburg. 5 months later you get sued . Why? Because the lender who took his money in to title as well , did not put himself in first position and title over looked this and put you down as a cash paying , paid in full home owner. For 5 months a judgement from a bad investment , that you were set to make payments on, sees you paid cash for a home and puts a lien on the home for 96k ( original judgement 26k) but now that you look lime you lied about assets ... penalties and fees added. House gets finished ready to sell, goes on market get good offer and only then does David Oldenburg realize his mistake. Big mistake! Rather than admit fault he gets a lawyer and sues all others ahead of him in position.. Sue's you for doing it on purpose , although it was his money, his responsibility to not only protect his money( which is why he charges points and thousands in fees. but as a lender he has a oath to protect the borrowers investment as well. . You now have no money to get legal representation but he is slandering you with accussations, due to HIS own negligence. What happened at title? what was said during him bringing the 190k in ? Only title and David know that because the borrower is not part of that transaction . 4 yrs ago a smaller loan was borrowed , contract signed and it went as planed , except somewhere during the rehab David started seeing a young realtor. Him being married made spending money on Gf hard. So borrower was contacted and asked if he would act as if he needed 5k more so he could write his affair into borrowers financial obligation. Borrower declined but guess who was the scapegoat for his infidelity? Causing him personal problems as well, This man writes a good resume but he is not looking out for his. lines best Interests , hes negligently causing harm and asking for lawyers fee"s This man needs to stand before a Judge so a Judge can put a stop to his dealings in Real Estate. Things can and do go wrong in real estate but if you use him it will be his fault and you will pay the price.. But luckily telling the truth will hopefully bring an expert to protect the borrower in this mess

I rarely write reviews but I have done business with David Oldenburg at Paradise several times over…read morethe last 10 years. Ten years ago we hired David to sell our home and then help us find a new home. We were VERY picky!!!! We were impressed with the professionalism and he knows everything about the real estate and mortgages business and gave us a $5,000 credit that we used to pay closing costs and get a lower rate. Since that time we have used him to buy another home and refinance twice and given his name to several people we know. I hope this comment helps you make a decision.
