Hello, As I rely heavily on reviews, I will be leaving a…read moredetailed one here for Harmony Renovations and Victor Salsedo and Mauro who works with him. As our need was for a new bathroom out of an old closet, we did not need a whole crew. Having Victor and Mauro was perfect. In a world where we all expect life to be like a Joanna Gaines episode, real life has obstacles to overcome, and bumps in the road. The trick is to find someone who will work with you in a friendly manner to over come those obstacles. 1. Victor and Mauro worked in small cramped conditions when it was often hot and they were patient and uncomplaining. 2. When something came up for us or for them, we communicated and worked it out. When I needed them to be done by a certain time due to a surprise party, they made a point to get here early and finish. Later, both were even stung by yellow jackets in our yard!! They continued working despite the swelling!! 3. I changed my mind. I opted for a new vanity, didn't want Schluter strips (that was a whole thing) and decided to tile a part of the bathroom that isn't usually tiled. Victor rolled with it. 4. As my husband is handy, Victor worked with us to allow my husband to do parts, he wanted to do. This is flexibility you don't often find. 5. The price was very fair, kind to our budget. We were allowed to separate out the materials in case we found a good deal. Again, Victor accommodating without complaint. 6. I have never seen a harder worker than Mauro. Victor is no slouch, but Mauro was a force of nature. They worked seamlessly. 7. The tile looks beautiful. We were working with tile that had only one finished edge. That made it challenging. Something had to be redone. Again, Victor did it. No problem. One edge has a slight unevenness to it. I think the Schluter strips would have prevented this, but I opted to not use them, so it's no big deal. My choice. 7,5 Victor and Mauro put in a window. When the window proved to be a little weird, they added some strips to make it look right. 8. Victor pointed out materials we could return to Home Depot, we did and were reimbursed hundreds at the end. I would say, make sure you talk, talk, talk and know what you want and YOU will make your life easier. Would I use Victor and Harmony again? I'm already dreaming up ways to do just that. Don't be difficult. Choose competent people and work with them. Life is not a TV show.

He spoke to me the entire time up until the work was being complete. No fault to his. But I expressed to him I didn't have a good experience in the past using mitigators because I feel like some of the work is done to ensure we need to replace whatever is touched by water. They are going to tell you it is by code and policy. However, in my case where things went wrong the amount charged to basically dry my flooded rental was ridiculous and most of the work was unnecessary. Most people will not care because their goal is to bill the insurance company for as much as they possibly can. This time it backfired because the insurance didn't cover it and the so called restoration done which was removing anything that was touched by the toilet water that leak was cut and removed. That includes dry wall, carpet etc. Being that I understand this space, we all know that this all would have to be removed anyway once I hire someone to remodel. So now I am was stuck with almost a $10k bill, and damaged house, and no contact to fix, and this bill is for them to basically removed pieces that was touched (by the way some didn't have to be removed). It was my understanding they was going to handle the job from beginning to end but I guess that is only if the insurance company is paying. Once I was sent to the financial person she assumed I couldn't pay for it and basically only wanted to speak about my payment to them. She apologized for it so no foul there but business wise it doesn't feel good being left with this damage and they get their money and run. The reason I am doing a two star is because Mel was pleasant and answered the phone every time. I will say that this service is not necessary in most cases and if you want to get the most from the insurance company then go for it. But if you have a good contractor, I would go with them and have them go through the insurance company. At least you have an option to approve work, be notified of cost etc. I didn't have the luxury of doing so. Was an very expensive mistake on my behalf but we live and we learn. I take accountability for my part, but could never get them to do the same. Hate to be the first one to leave a not so good rating.

Uses only the best materials…read more Great customer service Had roof replaced, said if there are any problems EVER, just to call them and they will take care of it. Roof should last 20-40yrs. No wonder they are highly rated by the BBB and in Home Reports. I checked them out thoroughly. I actually got quotes from 8 companies before going with NorthSIDE Roofing. (Note of Caution: by mistake I called NorthRidge or it could have been NorthEdge Roofing. These are not the same. NorthRidge/NorthEdge actually never called me back.) I actually called all 3 main companies D*R*, F**(advertises a lot on radio), R*D*, as well as 2 other smaller companies (S*R* + R*R*) and 2 independents. Most were cheaper but I just didn't get the feeling that they were going to do a good job. With the largest roofing company around here, they immediately gave me a discount on the callback, whoa red flag for me. I felt like the 2 larger roofing companies were substituting volume vs quality workmanship. Anyways Northside is not the cheapest roofing company but you are getting quality workmanship, experience and superior materials. That's important when a roof is protecting your house and it's contents. Danny (co owner) nailed sample shingles up so I could decide what color would look best. Actually I had him move the shingles a second time to a sunnier spot so I could see the true color. Also they took pics of the work in progress for me. Flashings were good, lead pipe boots, drip edge is good, shingles lined up perfectly and nailed securely so they won't slide later on, ridge vents were good. Everything up to code. As well as replacing rotted boards on the roof, they repaired some rotted soffits facia boards, painted the new vents, chimney flashings, cleaned out my gutters, caulked the leaky end caps in the gutters, readjusted my gutters, covered the bushes grass and cleaned up every night. This company has been around for 30+yrs and their crew are longtime employees (not subcontractors like some of the other companies) so they have tight quality control and are experienced workers. Only downside is they don't have a large number of crews. As a result, they are busy and Danny comes later than when he says he'll be there. It's all good though because I know when he did come he spent a long time going over the roof and answering all my questions which is why he was probably late for his appts. Got a very good looking roof now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for new roof replacement or repairs. Utmost confidence.

We have heard only good reviews. Danny also installed skylights in my co-workers home. He does a great job, and has a great crew, as the first reviewer said. (I spent some hours on a roof with them all, taking photos of an install). Watching the crew in action, I can say they are all business, are very conscientious, and Danny Wiley, their leader, is very knowledgeable and skilled, and worked along side the rest of the crew. They went the extra mile on the skylight installation of a five panel custom skylight, installing the glass separately because the skylight was so large, then afterward making a handsome diverter to go above the skylight. Northside will probably not give the cheapest roofing estimate, but it will be fair for the excellent results. A good roof is extremely important, as is a good roofer relationship. You want someone who will be back in the case any issues come up in the future. Highly recommend!

Within about an hour of my long overdue and initial review, I was on the calendar for next day pressure washing! When I say A-MA-ZING, I really mean it! I've attached photos so that you can be the judge. Perry knows his craft. There's been a rust stain that we've been trying to have removed for YEARS! Previous contractors tried but were unable. More recently a contractor told us that we'd have to replace the vinyl siding! No, no, no (wagging my finger like Dikembe Mutombo!), not with the professional expertise of APPW! When others say they can't, know that Perry can! My husband and I are SO impressed. This was certainly money well spent and again we couldn't be more satisfied.
