I am new to the pharmacy. I found it on a web search. I emailed multiple times with questions and all answered to my satisfaction. My prescription was sent to the pharmacy by my doctor and verified. Medication was ready in 1 week and after I paid it was delivered to my house within 1 business day. I've been trying to get an order filled for 3 days. I submitted using their online form and then got no email resonse. The next day I called and was on hold for an hour before I had to hang up to get back to work. Can't take my meds due to a faulty shipment and have to wait till Monday to call and speak to her. Very disappointing. Horrible service. You absolutely cannot reach them by phone. I have held on multiple occasions for over 45 minutes before giving up. To make matter worse, the Doctor's office contacted them and Empower called me to verify information for the order but it was an automated call telling me to call to complete the order. 6/9/2023 UPDATE**** I may be jumping the gun here but I feel after the dismal review I left three months ago I should give an update based on the positive experience I've had since placing an order for a refill yesterday. I had to call in to pay to get my refill processed and shipped out to me which I was dreading. I called mid day expecting nothing less than an hour wait and was pleasantly surprised to have my call answered WITHIN FIVE MINUTES of waiting on hold. I was told that the processing times were typically one week before they would ship my medication. Nothing new as they were saying that even when it was a two week wait. They charged my card yesterday and to my astonishment I received a shipment notification this morning! LESS THAN TWENTY FOUR HOURS LATER! I hope others are experiencing this same marked improvement and what I hope is a lasting return to the way this pharmacy used to operate! Thanks to whoever and whatever is responsible for getting things done around there! I was sent a bad batch of compound tirzepitide. I have been getting my medication from empower for almost a year now and everything was fine until the last bottle I received, which is very obviously not good. I was losing weight, no appetite, and blood sugar going down steadily until the last bottle i opened (3 weeks ago) and all that immediately stopped when I started the new bottle. It cannot be a coincidence. it could just be saline, for all I know. 700$ saline. I have contacted ivim health about this and they have ignored me. Well, I thought I was going to transfer my script over to Empower. My provider submitted it 2 weeks ago and it still shows pending. I am almost out of my med for the previous pharmacy and have been calling everyday since 3/28 and NO ONE ANSWERS...EVER! Second time was 2hr. 14 mins. before hanging up. Been waiting over a month for this prescription and still going on wild goose chases. The Final Straw Buyer beware. I had used this pharmacy for many years. I didn't quit using them because of the mistakes in the orders. (In the past, I would let them know of the mistake and they would correct it.) I quit using them because their "Claims Department" (why does a pharmacy need a claims department?) would not admit there was a mistake in the order. One bottle had room for 4 cotton balls - to hold the capsules in place and one bottle had room for only 1 cotton ball. This was the first clue that the order was wrong. But when I called to ask them to correct the mistake I was informed that they now have "processes" in place and that they had not made a mistake. Are employees rewarded for locating and correcting errors? If not, the process won't work. Because of the ongoing errors and poor customer service, my doctor will no longer recommend that prescriptions be filled by this company. The good news is that I have found another pharmacy that is half the price, has delightful customer service and doesn't hide behind "claims departments" and "processes." read more

Been using Empower for 3 years. Never an issue with products, delivery, refills or setting up a new script. If you try to call in, YES, you will be on hold. Being registered, accredited and shipping to other states, they're likely taking HUNDREDS of orders each day. When I have called and waited patiently on speaker phone while doing other things, the staff is always super friendly. Have your doctor call or fax in the script and handle your refills online. read more

I get my medicine straight from my doctor but he's affiliated with Empower. The product itself is very good and high quality. Also, what good about getting it from my doctor is I don't have to go Month by month, I usually buy 3 vials at a time to hold me over because each vial lasts 10 weeks and every 2 month I buy 2 more vials now, so I'm always ahead of myself lol. I am not sure how these folks stay in business. They used to be great. Now you can count on 30 minutes on hold to place an order. Last week I spent an hour on the phone trying to place an order. Then I stupidly lost the prescription when traveling. Today I tried to refill the lost prescription. So I called and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. I finally asked for a call back. I got the call back and was told that under the circumstances I needed a a pharmacist approval for a generic, non opiate, non addictive drug that I can order online from dozens of pharmacies without a doctors prescription. So I was put on hold. I waited, and waited and waited. Then I was told that no pharmacist was available, but that they would call me back after they obtained approval. So I waited for 6 hours for a call back. I finally called them back and was put on hold. I waited, and waited and waited. Finally I requested a call back. When I got the call back I was told that they still needed a pharmacist approval 6 hours later! I expressed my discontent so the associate asked if I would like to speak with a manager. I said yes and was put on hold. I waited , and waited and waited. Finally a manager got on and approved the prescription and very nicely shipped it overnight by FedEx for free. I have tried to use their web app in the past but it did not work. Maybe it works now. I don't know. I am on blood pressure meds. As I continually quote, the only reason that I need blood pressure meds is because I get so damned frustrated dealing with the dysfunctional relationship between doctors, pharmacists, and insurance companies. read more
