She gave me exactly what I asked for and didn't pressure me to buy anything else. She even gave a nice scalp massage as she washed my hair, which tends to be my favorite part of the process. This salon is very beautiful and clean. The energy inside is bright and peaceful. They have a beautiful sitting area and lovely clothes and accessories on sale that are reasonably priced. They also have some hair products that are also reasonably priced. The prices of the haircut is medium, it's not inexpensive and it's not too terribly expensive either. I definitely feel that my haircut was worth the price. I will definitely be back.

I spoke to the company that licensed her for…read moreBrazilian blowout and they said given the description and the look of my hair that she likely used too much product and heat. This was thier assumption and I can't say what went wrong personally but I can verify that she told me she was going to go heavier with product on crown and sides, and do more passes with the iron, which is exactly where the worst damage is. I have photos from the day before and photos after wash. I used the Brazilian blowout brand shampoo and conditioner as recommended. Her reaction was defensive and rude and she refused to look at my hair or see what could be done. I think that's very telling because if you don't think you did anything wrong, you would at least want to look at it.

When I sent her pictures of her initial work she was "embarrassed" and said she would fix it. I went back the following day for her to fix it. Yea no. It's not as awful as before but no where near fixed. Extremely unacceptable and I don't know anyone who would honestly pay for what she did to my hair. When I asked her for a refund she gave no reply. I have tried reaching out to her and received no response. When I inquired to the owner about a refund she let me know that each stylist is their own business and they just rent a space from her. She said that "You will have to talk with amber about a refund but i know she put a lot of time and product into your hair." She put a lot of time and product into destroying my hair. I can't speak for the other stylist at this salon but if you are reading this review before booking an appointment avoid Amber.
