Really happy with my highlights and cut. Greg is the nicest guy and knows his stuff. He's also the owner. I've used him twice before posting. I've gotten compliments on my hair and I hate telling them where because I don't want them to fill up his schedule! But I do anyway. Regardless, I know he'll be there for me when I need him. The facility is really pretty and all the stations are decorated beautifully so most of my senses are pleased when I'm there. Definitely sticking with him. read more

I am completely broken hearted over my hair. I have been her before and Greg cut my hair and it was awesome. When I reached back out for another appointment with Greg, he never got back to me, so I moved on. Been to another stylist since then and got into a pinch so I called this salon again. Russell cut my hair, he is new but I had faith. The cut is Horrible! My long layers I asked for are choppy and uneven. It looks like I got 1 layer instead of several long layers. He has no idea how to blow dry hair to get volume or use a round brush properly. Russell was super nice and I think really wanted to do a good cut but it is horrible. I have an event to go to and I am not completely embarrassed wit my hair. Ladies don't use Russell. read more

I have to write a review for Greg, the owner and stylist extraordinaire. I recently moved to Leander from Orange County, Ca and I have had my hair done at quite a few trendy and expensive salons. I usually get pretty technical and unusual styles that are asymmetrical and require a lot of skill. When I saw Greg I was growing out a cut where one side was cut close to my head and the other side was long, and it was starting to look weird so I had to get it cut. Greg gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had, hands down. It looks just as good when I do it myself as it did when I left the salon, which says a lot. My style looks great, not at all like I'm trying to grow something out. I am very excited to see what creative ideas Greg has for next time, I totally trust my hair in his hands. read more

I just got home from getting my hair colored at Baby Face Day Spa, Too (this is now located off of US Hwy 183). Today was my first visit to the salon, since they moved to this location and the first time that I have had my hair colored, here. I have to say that this is also the first time I feel like my hair doesn't look like it has been colored! The color is a perfect match to my natural color, the grey is gone and everything is now blended together, wonderfully from top to bottom. Talitha listened to what I was looking for and magically made it happen. The conversation was pleasant. Talitha sat down next to me and chatted with me, while we were waiting on the color to set. I'm not actually used to this in most salons. Also, there was a good vibe between the stylists, as if they really do like each other. Now for the part that you are really interested in...the price. So, I have hair that is curly and goes slightly past my shoulders. Their paperwork and the phone call I made before I got there, gave me the indication that I was going to pay about $55-$65, which is what really got me to try them out. I decided I was going to do color only and no cut (which starts at $35) yet, when I checked out, somehow the total came to $75? I never feel like I can argue when the pricing structure indicates - Hair Color: $55 and up or Long Hair: $65 and up. That was the one thing that kept this review from being 5 stars, since I called about the pricing specifics before I got there so that I wasn't taken off guard at the register. I recommend you discuss this when you get there, if you have your mind set on a particular price you are expecting to pay. Moving on to another important review item, Parking! This shopping center location is convenient to get in and out of and there was ample parking. So, in the end: good color + good conversation + ideal location (for me) - not so true pricing = I'm a fan! read more

KRISTI MITCHELL is wonderful. I see her for hair cuts, dye, hair extensions and lash extensions. She does an amazing job on everything, but I'll focus on hair and lash extensions. LASH EXT - I'm so pleased with them. You'll be hooked. I appreciated that she was able to explain what different lengths would look like. Before KRISTI I'd gone to a lash place where she asked me something like, "do you want # 6,7 or 8 length lashes?" Um, I don't know. With Kristi I started with a conservative length and worked my way up. She's the best. HAIR EXT - This was a leap for me since I thought they were dumb. Now my extensions are part of me and I get so many compliments on my amazing hair. You absolutely can't tell. Kristi walked me through the different options and made recommendations that I was comfortable with. I took a big chance showing up as a walk in for a haircut yesterday morning, and I am so glad I did. Since I moved to the area over a year ago, I've tried two other places and left so disappointed. Erika was able to fit me in pretty quickly. She actually cared about how my hair acts and styles, and cut it according to that, along with my wishes. You can tell she cares about your hair. I'm happy to have much more shape and volume in my limp, fine, damaged hypothyroid hair. Price was reasonable considering it included a shampoo, haircut and style. read more

I was not happy with customer service. Kasey was late for my 3 oclock appt 20 minutes because she was at lunch. She showed up late and wanted to rush me to wash when i was there for color. Then said I'll mix your color and was gone another 20 minutes. When it was time to rinse my color out she had worked someone in and she is cutting her hair?? Then i waited another 20 minutes? I wanted my hair shaped but was told I didn't need it. This appointment was a mess!!! read more

She did an excellent job covering my grays, giving me the exact shade of blonde that I was wanting and I love my cut. Haven't had a perm since the 80's and wanted to give it another try BUT was very nervous. Saw Laurie Cornay's reviews on Nextdoor and called. She had me come in to assess my hair on first visit. Did a test curl on a second visit to make sure my hair was healthy enough. Then permed on 3rd appt (didn't charge for first 2 visits). I can't say enough good things about her. She is incredibly kind, thorough and very skilled. My perm is fantastic. A head full of big soft curls. I've been back for color and she matched what I wanted beautifully. This review is based on my experience with stylist: Julie Anzures. Oh my goodness! I completely lucked out. I have to say, I didn't go to my appointment with any high expectations. Getting my hair cut has been less than spectacular for a long time now. I usually feel like I am a problem (my hair is thick - I hear about it every time). I called and got an appointment within a few days (nice surprise). I forgot to read Yelp reviews first (tsk tsk)...but, I did read them before I went and they were luckily good (but,the reviews were not for my stylist - just other stylists ). From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. I loved the atmosphere, I loved the apparent professionalism among the stylists (no high tech disco music blaring, with gum chomping, magenta haired, gossiping ladies - sorry, been to too many "hip" hair places like that). Julie was right there to greet me and from start to finish it was like connecting with a good friend who really cared about what it was I was looking for in my cut that day. I didn't feel pressured - in fact, I felt accommodated and pampered. I felt heard and understood. She is the first person who really "got it" about my thick hair and how thinning it insanely only leads to later poofy hair - she had a method for that. She suggested I look into some services to tame my mane, but she was not high pressure - in fact she said I should go research it and we can talk about it later if I want. I have an appointment already scheduled in 4 weeks that I bought awhile back on Living Social for another stylist - but, now I don't even want to use it. I will (and will review), but... I believe I have found "my" hair therapist! read more

My stylist was Talitha and I am completely satisfied with the results. I had damage to my hair because of an eating disorder and the regrowth in addition to having it previously shaved underneath and so the layers were growing out disproportionately. Bc of these facts I had resigned myself to starting over and having quite a bit of length taken off so I could grow my hair back out. Talitha offered some suggestions and then took it a step further with adding a bit of her personal flair. All in all I would definitely not not recommend the salon but her bc she made me feel totally at ease and trusting of her recommendations. read more
