I first texted the practice after seeing this practice pop up on a mom's group page many times and received immediate response for a phone call for more information as it was my first chiropractor visit ever. The phone call was very informative and I then scheduled an appt. EASY! The practice is in a cute little looking house at a corner and they have their own room/studio that is clean and welcoming. I met with Dr. Russ last week for what I thought was sciatic pain for some time. Im 35 weeks pregnant. My first visit was 1 hour long and it included consultation and all the works. I didn't know what to expect for a prenatal chiropractor visit as mentioned before, it's my first chiropractor visit ever! Dr. Russ is very knowledgeable and gave me such an informative and comprehensive consultation that I felt like I was in class (in a good way!) I felt comfortable all throughout the appt and walked away feeling great. The next morning, I was a bit sore which was to be expected but I felt great nonetheless. I scheduled another appt for next week, which will be for 30 min (standard appt) rather than a full hour. I'm looking forward to the next visit! They also take care of you postpartum so looking forward to reaching back out once I feel things have settled postpartum. read more

I've been a loyal patient at this chiropractic office for years and had a great experience during my last pregnancy, which is why I trusted them again this time. Unfortunately, my experience during this pregnancy has been incredibly disappointing. I paid over $2,000 upfront for a package meant to cover care through my entire pregnancy. We had multiple conversations for my plan of care being to make it through October to my due date 10/31. Now that I'm in my final trimester and finally on maternity leave -- the time when I can actually come in more consistently and need the care most -- the office has announced they'll be closed for "fall break", which happens to be the month I'm due October. I was never notified they would be closed, only notifying me of this closure days before on September 27th via text. I've asked for a refund for the six remaining sessions I already paid for, and they've refused. I understand businesses have schedules and limitations, but this feels incredibly unfair and unprofessional -- especially considering how much I've invested here, both financially and personally. The owner Dr. Kseniya was extremely rude and condescending sending me voice text messages. She basically blamed me stating I should be more understanding that she is a mother and works long hours and needs this time off. The whole conversation was unprofessional and very poor customer service. I've referred multiple coworkers to this practice over the years because I truly believed in their care, but this experience has left me feeling taken advantage of, scammed, and deeply disappointed. Highly recommend Dr. K! She's been working with me for three months. Pregnancy and postpartum brought on daily headaches. She asked a million questions to get to the root cause. She listens to me needs and actually makes a difference. I no longer have daily headaches. We did an elimination diet and I've also lost 15 pounds so I'm back to the weight I was when I got pregnant. My sciatica was so bad during this pregnancy that I was using a cane to get around and needed assistance to stand and walk at times. My OB referred me to Empowered Mama and their scraping (Graston) treatment and adjustments saved me. My first appointment I went in heavily limping and I left walking regularity with little discomfort left. I was shocked and so grateful to feel in control of my body again. I wish I would have come in when the pain first started. Regular visits after that kept me comfortable in an otherwise all around uncomfortable pregnancy. I bought the package that included a newborn adjustment and will be taking my breeched babe there soon, something I didn't ever think I would feel comfortable with for a baby. I also look forward to going back for treatment as the inevitable aches and pains come from breastfeeding post partum. Pricing is steep, but treatment is very effective. I had sciatica in my first pregnancy as well and used a different chiropractor, acupuncture, and massage and it wasn't as effective as this. So adding all the costs together, it doesn't make this price seem so bad. Also recommend getting on the books early as it is a smaller team so the schedule fills up quick. They did work very late hours to accommodate me when I had flare ups and was desperate to get in which I greatly appreciated. read more

I can't say that I'm the type of person who goes to a chiropractor on a regular basis. But I'm gone to see Ruslan a few times over the past year or so after suffering an injury. I recently had a fall playing football and really hurt my shoulder. For weeks I couldn't sleep and didn't want to go to a doctor, get x-rays and the works. After being fed up with the pain, I contacted Ruslan just to see if he can help. A few days later I was in his office and was taking care of my shoulder. After maybe 5-6 appointments my shoulder started feeling better and then a week or later it was back to 100%. And then even more recently I threw my back out and immediately went to Ruslan. Dr. K is AMAZING! My son was 4 weeks old colic, and cried for hours throughout the day and night. He had so much gas, he was extremely uncomfortable and fussy. I was running on 2 to 3 hours of sleep a day and going insane. Someone recommended that I look into chiropractic treatment for him. I found Dr. K on Yelp and was skeptical about scheduling. I waited a couple of weeks and decided to bite the bullet and schedule as I was becoming desperate. First session, I noticed once I handed my son to Dr. K and she started working on his little body, he was so calm, starring into her eyes, smiling... I looked over at my husband and he looked at me... this was the first time we seen him calm and smiling. I decided to purchase 10 additional sessions. Went home that day and notice my son was less fussy. We are now, I believe 6 sessions in and he is sleeping 4-5 hours straight at night, no more crying for hours, and no longer gassy. Each time we come home from his Chiro session, he has 3-4 huge bowel movement . My son is a whole different baby, happy! You would have never guessed he was a fussy, colicky baby. I was losing all value of life and in tears daily because the pain was so unbearable- I could barely walk let alone doing normal daily activities. When I found out I was pregnant, I really wanted to find a chiropractor who specializes in pre and post natal care. I'm so glad I found Dr. Kseniya! I started seeing her at 20 weeks when I noticed some pain developing in my hip area. After buying an expensive 10 session package to help treat postpartum lower back pain, I can say I probably left the office in worse shape than I started with. I yielded much better results going to a physical therapist within my network. I'm sure her treatments work for some and she does appear to genuinely care; however, for the extraordinary cost, I felt swindled. She appeared quite confident that she could provide me with results during her sales pitch. A more transparent approach to chiropractic care and the range of effectiveness would have been more appreciated. After 10 sessions it pains me to write a negative review but I guess there's a first time for everything. Everything was going well and I was seeing relief in my back pain; however, towards the end of my 10 pack, I felt like every appointment was an opportunity to sell me on more "resources". Unfortunately there was an insane amount of pressure put on me to purchase additional items at every visit even after I politely declined multiple times on multiple occasions. Advice to the practice: learn to read the emotional cues and signals of your patients. Saying "no" doesn't come easy to all of us, especially those that are pregnant, vulnerable and want to empower other women entrepreneurs. While I'm sure you feel strongly that the additional services offer support for your patients, they are extremely expensive and you should have more empathy for the patients that can't afford them. Advice to new patients: find a doctor in network and let your insurance pay for services like this. In my opinion, it's not worth it to pay out of pocket. read more

Dr. Kseniya is a LIFESAVER for pregnant mommas! I'm on my 4th pregnancy, and have the worst sciatica, hip and leg muscle pain. Her work eases so much of my pain. I walk in to Dr. Kseniya's office with a full waddle and limp, and leave walking normal! It feels like a miracle! She shows me helpful stretches to do at home too. I've started seeing her weekly starting at 30 weeks pregnant. I've been to 4 sessions, and plan on seeing her until the end, and then after birth as I'm recovering from labor. Through my shared friends, I found out about Kseniya.The first session of my pregnancy officially began when I was 38 weeks along. For a second appointment, I went at 39 weeks along. I wish I had begun sooner! Kseniya has extensive postpartum and maternity training. She is an expert in that area. Since I've been experiencing uncomfort lower back pain, I've tried a variety of things--including physical therapy--without success. In our initial meeting, Kseniya made me feel completely at ease. I started seeing Dr. Kseniya about halfway through my pregnancy to support a head-down baby and help make space for an ideal presentation. I'm now close to having my baby and can confidently say that it's thanks to her caring hands and breadth of knowledge that I can still comfortably work in the garden and chase my toddler (and, I have a head down baby after a history of breech). I'm glad I started Webster chiropractic before any real major issues occurred because I think it has prevented them altogether. She's also made a headache disappear after a simple adjustment :) I've seen many chiropractors and want to make it clear that Dr. Kseniya does not just throw you on a table and quickly "crack you." She takes her time and is very gentle, and can even use an activator on your neck if you prefer. The bodywork for pregnant people that goes alongside the adjustments if you choose is NEXT LEVEL. I started to receive treatment care from Dr. Kseniya in my 2nd trimester up until a few days before my delivery. I started to see her when my OBGYN and midwife recommended I go after being told I had pubis symphysis dysfunction. Dr.Kseniya is amazing with my baby! I was referred to this practice when my baby was 8 weeks old and diagnosed with a tongue tie. They got me in super fast to see him and was very thorough and answered all my questions and we came up with a treatment plan. A month later and my son has full range of his neck before he could only turn it one direction. Whenever we go into the office for an adjustment my son takes the best nap after so it's true it's working! Oh, we've also cut back a few minutes on breastfeeding which is a win for both of us! First of all, I have to apologize for how long it's taken me to post this. I've been talking about writing this since I was still pregnant (my youngest is now 7 months ) Dr. K was vital in getting me through my third pregnancy. I started seeing her during my second trimester when my back pain began making me nervous. Her chiropractic care was amazing - the adjusts & massages made the physical strain of running around with two kiddos & trying to stay in shape bearable (and I even have some pre-existing spine issues). The massage was better than any spa treatment I've ever gotten because I could feel the benefits days after. But what really made EMC stand out was the overall holistic care. Dr. K gave me advice on all things related to my pregnancy from nutrition to dealing with colds or just listening to me vent . I often joked that my OB-GYN should be splitting her paycheck with her because let's be real, Kaiser doctors ain't got time for any of that. I started seeing Dr. Kseniya when I was 35 weeks pregnant due to sudden nerve and hip pain. I had been very active in my pregnancy up to this point (walking at least an hour a day) and was pretty discouraged when this had to come to a halt in the final stretch. Dr. K was recommended by several people--including my OB's office--so I decided to reach out. With how busy her practice is, I was shocked that she was able to get me in within a matter of days, and she consistently ensured that I was able to visit at least weekly thereafter for treatment. I'm generally wary of chiropractors, but Dr. K and her team know what they're doing, and have gentle methods of adjustment combined with necessary body work to loosen up tight muscles and joints. The pain started feeling so much better over the course of the following weeks! I went from needing to walk up the stairs on all fours, to going on my first mile+ walk at 40 weeks pregnant without pain! I honestly had given up hope that I'd be walking without a limp before the end of pregnancy, more or less any reasonable distance for exercise. Now that I'm 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant, if only she can work her same magic to get. this. baby. out! Oh but wait! She does have a wonderful acupressure massage offering, and was able to get me in again last minute today to hopefully move things along. Fingers crossed it works as well as the other treatment! I am a very active athlete, full time father, and a full time employee. Needless to say, I'm usually battling some sort of aches and pains, and need a regular adjustment for maintenance purposes. Dr. Russ listened attentively to my routine and the most recent injury that I sustained in my neck and trapezius area. He then proceeded to give me an adjustment that alleviated the pain and discomfort I've been feeling for months! Dr K has helped me tremendously the last 3 years. I first came to her while pregnant and I felt like an entirely new person after my visit. I felt like I could barely move due to sciatica pain and left able to walk like normal. It was such a relief. I was approximately 36-37 weeks along. Fast forward to the end of 2020, I returned to get help with clenching at night and to help with my energy levels. I was 1000% depleted and stressed. I now don't have to return constantly to help with clenching and she found food sensitivities I knew were a problem but Kaiser wouldn't address because there was no allergy. Now I take all different vitamins that started to make a difference after a couple weeks and I know exactly what not to eat. Sometimes I test it out and eat them anyways but I am quickly reminded why I shouldn't. I will continue to see Dr. K even though I know it's pretty pricey when not covered by insurance but ultimately kaiser was of no help and I am fully functioning again.
