I'm more of a sweet wine kind of gal but walked away with a glass of dry wine, how is that?! Thank you, Chris! The inside is small and intimate but they also have a covered patio with a beautiful open yard to sit in peace and enjoy. If you're not up for the outdoors, they also have an air conditioned wine lounge with games, music, and tv. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in! Sugared bacon was delicious. Wedge didn't have the salad core removed which was a bit disappointing. Shared a coal-fired Margarita pizza with chicken added. The inside of the brewing company has tables and often does live music or you can hang out at the bar in the air-conditioning but the majority of people at barrows are outside because Burrows also has a phenomenal massive concrete pad that has covered picnic tables and this is where the food trucks park. This is also where they do their live music on the weekends. From behind barrows, you can walk down to the creek, and this is where they have the ice cold natural spring that comes out of the ground. You are welcome to bring their beers down here and sit in the water or sit by the water and hang out and enjoy the creek. Depending on the day, there can be anything happening here from a farmers market to vendors to food trucks to music to dancing anything you can think of so definitely check out their Facebook page for the activities. Absolutely family friendly and there's usually tons of kids having a blast down here with their parents. We like the beer a lot and the staff is friendly and we end up here more than once every single time that we're in Salado, so don't skip it!

The owner was motivated, polite, helpful, and super energetic.. You need to keep an eye out for it because at 70 mph it's easy to drive by.. That said, in the amount of time for it to register that you just drove by and ask yourself the question, "Was that a beer barn?" You will arrive at a side street for which to use for turning around.. According to the owner there will soon be taco trucks and hot off the smoker barbecue available.. Drive up beer AND barbecue!! So, if you plan on driving North on 35 and don't feel like sitting in the endless construction traffic, then exit I35 just South of Temple and pick up 317 North. Leads you North of Waco (and you can still get Kolaches off exit 353 at Czech House or Slovaceks)... Will add 15-20 minutes onto your drive if there were no delays but lately with the construction it is apt to save you an hour!! Check it out..
