This place is an absolute must visit for any Texas wine lover! Smaller vineyard sure but what they have is picturesque and gorgeous. Seating inside the 3600 square foot tasting room and bar area or out back along the vineyard seating and covered patio space. Take your pick and enjoy a wine flight or a glass. Wine apple cider, sangria, blush wine, frozen wine, dessert wine, and many other fantastic wines to please every palate. The Swag Cab and Roussanne really wow'd me most I gotta say. But everything I tasted was very good. The wine cider also really surprised me as to how good that was without being too sweet as many beer ciders are. The staff here are amazing. They treat you like best friends even on the first visit. So welcoming and kind, open and hospitable. It's cool to see how people come in here and just relax, chill out, sit at tables with charcuterie plates and bottles of wine to simply take a load off a socialize. It's the epitome of what a chill, easy going weekend should look like (and taste like). For being in business for not quite 3 years yet, these guys have their act together with great service, a great venue space and amazing wine across the board. We stopped here on the way from mother neff state park on a Sunday. The indoor seating area is really nice, lots of patio space too. The menus didn't include any tasting notes other than dry or sweet, and our server didn't really know much about the wine. We tried a build your own flight and a mocktail though. Nice place to grab a glass of wine and some charcuterie after a hike. The chilled white wine blend was our favorite, however, the reds (made from their grapes) we tried missed the mark. Not sure we'd come back for the wine. read more

What a lovely Friday afternoon at this local winery. The drinks were perfect. We sat outside for a bit, but it got warm so we moved indoors, the a/c felt great. There was plenty of seating. There was no table service but that was fine - walk up to the bar to order and no waiting. The staff was super friendly. It was great, but if I had one constructive tip - I think a good cleaning was necessary both inside and out. I recommend a visit for a nice relaxing drink. read more

So I've been torn about making this review, but I really like this place and I wanted the owners to be aware. We were sitting outside and there were these few kids who I'm pretty sure were family members of the owners because they were driving gators all over the property. While we were drinking outside these same kids starting playing soccer very close to our table. The soccer ball eventually landed on our table and knocked over the wine cooler on the table, thankfully it did not knock over any glasses. The kids did not apologize, nor was there any supervision around them. And they continued playing soccer right by our table, which caused us to go inside. We were disappointed because we had brought out-of-town guests to our favorite wine place, and it was a little disappointing. read more

I love love LOVE this place! Situated on the outskirts of Temple, you may feel like your miles away from town when you stop in for a visit at the beautiful 3 Texans Winery and Vineyard. I can't rave enough about this hidden Texas gem. From the moment I stepped in I loved everything about my visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful (they really make you feel like an old friend even if it's your first visit), you may be lucky to be visited by the sweetest golden retriever like I was, the wine is extremely affordable and tasty, the charcuterie is to die for, AND you can do some shopping in their cute boutique offerings while you sip. It truly has everything you could possibly want, but most importantly, however, they offer WINE FLIGHTS. You read that right. For the low price of $10 you can have your choice of 5 different wines to try. This is the first Texas vineyard I've visited that offers a wine flight as opposed to a traditional tasting, and it is pure genius. (and they provide complimentary bowls of chocolate and crackers in the bar area to help enhance the flavors of your wine). If your Texas travels are taking you through Temple soon (or if you live nearby) it's 1000% worth it to take a side trip off of I35 to spend a few hours sipping the day away with the friendly team at 3 Texans. The wine, ambiance and owner are fantastic. The Malbec wine is to die for. This is my oasis to relax and enjoy great wine with great people.

This is a great woman-owned winery, with some estate wines and some featured from other local wineries. The Red Blend and Cab Sauv. were very good solid reds! We came here during the Stagecoach Wine Trail & I'm glad we ventured out. They have a nice patio out back, Bellini frozen drinks & live music this night . Enjoyed sitting outside looking out at the vineyard. The owners are a mother and her 2 daughters. Their hospitality was awesome, even Gabby their rescue dog stole our heart. They took the time to find out what our pallets preferred and made great suggestions for our tasting which was spot on! Pours were generous. My wife and I were trying to find a place to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and instead we found our go to spot for date night. Such a friendly and family based business. The wine is amazing and it is worth every penny. Great wine and great atmosphere on the vineyard. If you are in Temple or Belton, you need to make the short drive out to this vineyard. Owned by a wonderful family that makes you feel at home. We brought my daughter and niece who are around 1.5 years old and they loved being able to wander around the property. read more

My daughter and I enjoyed a wine tasting and a wonderful glass of Tempranillo wine. We really enjoyed the beautiful winery and visited with the beautiful owner and her daughter as well as the talented Cindy Newton who was so gracious to serve us and teach us about the different wines offered. There are a variety of reds and white wines. We most enjoyed the Tempranillo. There is also cheese for purchase available. The vineyards are beautiful and tasting room is very nice. read more

My wife and I were here for Mother's Day, along with our 3 year old daughter. She was playing outside with other kids who were there, and we are very reasonable parents when it comes to children's behavior and public establishments. When we were waiting for our check, the daughter who works there (one of the "3 Texans") apologized to her mother on our behalf, for all the "obnoxious, loud kids running around, and that she still hoped the mother was able to enjoy her day." She was referencing us and all the kids/families who were there earlier, and since we were the last to leave, we were the ones hearing about it. I thought it was very rude and snooty, and I'm writing the review to pass along that we did not appreciate being bad-mouthed while we were waiting for the check. Our daughter was monitored/fun and polite towards the workers and customers there. She even helped clean blocks on the deck, and a few of the messes that other kids had left behind. If you don't want kids running around on the grounds, or even attending at all then you need to post a sign. I've never written a review like this, and hopefully won't again. We won't be back to this winery, and if you have kids, I would opt for a babysitter before attending here. We've been to many better places that don't mind the kids, and if they do, they're smart enough to keep their mouth shut. read more
