We recently had an opportunity to spend a week in a guest apartment at Ida Culver, Ravenna. I was…read moreimpressed by the welcoming atmosphere. A sign with our names greeted us in the lobby, a staffperson helped us unload and wheel our belongings up to the unit. The requested microwave was brought promptly. The staff made an effort to listen to our needs and sought our feedback on the visit. Great views and tasty food. Well worth looking into, especially as the entire building will be transformed with a major rebuild.

It's very difficult to make a change when one is in their 80s, but the staff and residents at Ida Culver Ravenna went above and beyond. Everything is five star in our book. At Ida Culver you will be surprised to find a warm, welcoming place behind the serious facade on NE 65th. The majority of the facility is older with big picture windows facing either a meditation garden or a beautiful, large sunny garden. This won't fill your needs if you're looking for brand new, McMansion type living. But if you are looking for wonderful spaces, bright and cheerful views, top notch staff with absolutely great communication, you have found the right place for your loved one(s). Soon after our Mom moved into Ida Culver, her health started to decline. The staff of Ida Culver was right on top of it, communicating to us what we didn't always see on our regular visits. Not only was the staff great, the other residents looked after Mom, and communicated to the staff when there was a problem. They were with us in dealing with hospitalization, were with us in dealing with the hospital regarding her care, and were with us for the short term of skilled nursing in order to gain strength. Our Mom will be transitioning to full assisted living, and the nursing staff has been wonderful concerning planning, communicating, and meeting with us. Bravo Ida Culver. It's wonderful to find a place that truly cares about their residents and 100% advocates for the best care possible. They have made this difficult journey that much easier.

I love her office space! She has purifiers and fans going and it feels very airy and clean! She sprays down the table where patients sit/lay between visits with Microban - my favorite cleaning/disinfectant product! I felt completely safe the whole time I was with Deanna and am so happy to have found her in NE Seattle! She listens to your needs and takes notes so she can refer to them later. She is a great conversationalist and asks lots of questions so you get the feeling she cares about the whole patient, not only the injuries!

Deanna has an excellent understanding of the body and explains everything she does so I understand it perfectly. I went to her for my neck, since I was waking up with severe pain and stiffness about once a month. Since I started about six weeks ago, my mobility has increased, my stiffness has decreased and my pain is almost nonexistent! We moved on to some chronic knee pain, and I'm happy to say that has improved as well. Deanna looked looked closely at the causes of my pain and helped me make changes to my posture, sitting, etc. that I think will contribute to my long-term health. She's also very friendly and warm -- and celebratory about my progress. I'll be happy to return to her anytime I'm in need of physical therapy.

He replies to messages within minutes, making communication effortless. When it came time to list our property, we simply sent an email, and within a few days the lease was signed with a qualified tenant. It was truly a hands-free experience. David is very knowledgeable about the local rental market, pricing properties competitively. He conducts thorough background checks to ensure reliable, responsible tenants are placed. When maintenance issues arise, he addresses them promptly and professionally, never leaving anything unresolved. He's also built a trusted team of maintenance specialists and contractors who are experts in their respective fields. We recommend him highly.

To be transparent, we are property owners, so this review is from the owner's point of view. Having said that, he's been proactive in making sure the rental house is in a good shape, including regular annual maintenance. This is to ensure tenants get what they pay for. One thing David really stands out is his responsiveness and timely communications. Tips: believe it or not, best way to contact him is via email. He'll call me as soon as he's available whenever I ask him to call me via email. His email responses are mostly cryptic and straight to the point, and some folks may take that differently. But for us, we like his cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense style. Believe us, we have had a different property manager before, and he may seem courteous, but his responsiveness and professionalism are not even close to David's.
