The technician that came out, called me before heading over and it happened to be earlier than the estimated time, another nice surprise. He and another technician/trainee did a check of our system to see if there was anything wrong. He discussed all of the technical stuff with my husband and told us our system was overheating and thus short cycling. Gave us recommendations to minimize it from reoccurring, like maintaining both floors at same temp. Mentioned his relative had same issues who lives in the same community because of the way the houses were built. Can't believe they have five start. I can believe they're closed…read more Hired them to install a new HVAC in my house in February, replacing the central heater. Found out in june when I tried to use the AC that electricity wasn't even hooked to the outside unit. By then they were permanently closed. I Finally got it working by having the electricity hooked up and another HVAC firm come out and finish the install, which included charging the ac with refrigerant. THey took advantage of installing when I wasn't there to not finish the job, hoping I wouldn't test it out till summer.

I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals). They then would not certify that my AC unit was working correctly. Within an hour of departure the unit stopped working. They sent same man back that evening, he got it to work then an hour later, no longer working. Next they sent someone else out who said it just had to be our breaker which I doubted. Still I updated new breaker and the AC unit stopped working again. I have asked to speak to manager. The operator takes my messages and I have never received a returned calls, two weeks later still no call. They were suppose to send out an emergency tech. No one has showed up. Called and couldn't get any response other than the woman who answer phone. What a joke. **Update** I am revising my score. I finally received a phone call this morning to discuss my situation and we agreed on the next steps. They were very apologetic but its sad it had to come to this to get a response.

You know when you call him he's going to be straight forward with you. He will give an honest objective review of the issues and leaves it to you to make the ultimate decision. Why mess around with the corporate guys who are incentivized to upsell? In my opinion everyone should get on his surveillance program where he comes out changes out your filters and assesses the HVAC system and so you at least have a heads up when you need repairs or change out the whole system. At least this way you can save up and plan ahead instead of waiting for a disaster to occur. Give him a call. I'm so glad I met him and he's there to be the go to guy to tackle any HVAC issues.
