We were immediately impressed with the effort and with the clarity of the info he provided, and he also had a very easygoing manner that made us feel comfortable/unpressured in considering the options Cool Breeze presented. After Anthony's on-site assessment, we spoke with James at the main office, who took a ton of time providing us with very clear and sensible options. We had a bunch of follow-up questions, and he handled them all thoroughly, taking the time after hours to provide additional estimates and helping us make sure we were making the best possible choice. Every one of them told me the same thing--my entire A/C unit needed to be replaced. The quotes ranged from $10,000 to $12,000. Some companies only did a visual inspection, others used leak detection devices, and a few even climbed into the attic. After hearing the same expensive recommendation over and over, I was feeling pretty discouraged. Then I found Happy Heating and Air Conditioning. During my first conversation with Matt, I explained the whole story, including the unfortunate fact that my Doberman had used the outdoor A/C unit as his personal urination target. Because of that, I was convinced the leak was being caused by coil rot. I shared what all the other companies had told me and how frustrated and discouraged I had become. After I sent Matt a picture of the unit, he told me he was fairly confident that coil rot was not the culprit. For the record, Ross H&A was not the company who did my maintenance. Ross Heating and Air was the last estimate I got and I could not have been more impressed with everything they presented.
