I've been meaning to write this review for a very long time. We have been using B&B for the last several years for maintenance on our 2 furnaces and 2 ac units. First off, Connie, who is the most friendly and pleasant person takes care of the scheduling. I've called before for scheduling and if she can't answer, she's texts right away to let you know she will reach out soon. That is some serious customer service! She is top notch!! Randolph has been the tech that has come to our house for every appointment we've scheduled. We really really appreciate the continuity and familiar face every time our units have needed to be serviced. I also want to mention that before I chose B&B I had reached out to several other HVAC companies and they all charge by the unit. So for 4 units (2 ac's and 2 furnaces) That's about $500 or more. B&B charges by the hour which saves a ton of money. The HVAC tech has been able to service all of our units in 1 hour savings hundreds of dollars!! I recommend this company whole heartedly and appreciate their kindness, fairness, and attention to detail! Randolph is extremely knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. We had an issue one summer with our AC unit blowing warm air. Because we are established clients and had just had our units serviced, they made us a priority and had Randolph come out to check the unit right away. We noticed that our furnace was short cycling, that our heater stopped blowing warm air but kept pushing air out. Based on their ratings, we decided to try calling B&B. First time I called, I had to leave a voicemail. After a couple hours and no return call, I called back. Connie answered and was able to fit us in same day, which was awesome! The technician that came out, called me before heading over and it happened to be earlier than the estimated time, another nice surprise. He and another technician/trainee did a check of our system to see if there was anything wrong. He discussed all of the technical stuff with my husband and told us our system was overheating and thus short cycling. Gave us recommendations to minimize it from reoccurring, like maintaining both floors at same temp. Mentioned his relative had same issues who lives in the same community because of the way the houses were built. So amazing!!!! I called on a Tuesday, they came out first thing the next morning. My 86 year old dad had a loud grinding sound from his heater, they found a crack on the inside. They immediately went and got him a replacement and had the new heater up and running within hours, and gave us a discount because he's elderly. I have been having lots of work done so - I am at the point where I especially appreciate when a company goes above and beyond to make it a great experience, and B 7 B delivered! Big time. I bought a house without central air or a swamp cooler (in Reno! I know, what?) so I knew I couldn't suffer through a summer without it and got estimates for AC. Long story short, I ended up getting 4 estimates before B & B so I also really appreciated Aaron's thoroughness duing that phase. He spent almost an hour and a half going over my furnace, the electrical situation, and other things to make sure they could do the job and the quote would be accurate. He even made suggestions (which turned out not to be necessary) that would have saved me money, and reduced B & B's work and profit. It was clear that doing things right was paramount. Oh and the estimate ended up being the best price, too. Though I did get the other estimates in September (busy busy time) so that might have had an effect. Oh before he came out for the estimate - I got to speak with Connie, office manager who is on TOP of her game! I'm talking immediate calls back if missed, emails returned quickly, any questions answered with helpful info, patience with me when I was not as quick to return calls and accidentally applied for financing with a security freeze on my credit, complicating matters. Whoops! She was nothing but kind and helpful, even on evenings and the weekend. What?! Amazing. Installation day came (not too far out) and boy did it all go smoothly! I mean, as far as I know and can see, because it was quiet, Aaron and Chad were super professional and respectful of me and my home. And more importantly, my cat! He always tries to escape and they were great about making sure doors stayed closed when they needed to. A lot of contractors are not and chasing my cat is stressful. Installation was neat and clean and Chad and Aaron showed me how everything worked, what connections were what, and advice about things I never would have known to ask about. Aaron asked a ton of questions, most of which were irrelevant to this project but I wanted to take advantage of all of his knowledge while I could, poor guy. So now I have air conditioning, YAY! I will survive the summer in Reno. The labor and AC unit (Rheem, good stuff) are warrantied and while I hope I don't have to call B & B again anytime soon, I won't dread it and will know I'll be taken care of pronto. Hire these guys! I am a retired plumbing contractor with 33 year construction experience. Unfortunately I have limited knowledge replacing heating and air conditioning systems. I have 2 forced air furnaces with 2 connected air conditioners. The systems were 34 years old. I would compare it to driving a car with 750,000 miles on it. You can drive it until it leaves you stranded or you can replace it before it dies. The same thing applies to Furnaces and AC units. I had B&B Heating and Air come out to give me a proposal to replace both furnaces, both air conditioning condensers, the AC coils etc. Basically replacing everything except the duct work. I met with Aaron one of the owners of B&B. Frankly I knew before I even saw a price that I was going to have B&B do the work. While the brand of equipment used is important, the people who install it and maintain it is more important. Aaron and his team were professional, contentious, and craftsman like. They were respectful of my home. And while removing all of the old equipment is a dirty job, they managed to pick up after themselves and keep everything neat. The install is top notch. Everything looks perfect. I am happy with the work. I am happy with the price. I am happy with the communication. Scheduling, conversations with office staff etc. Perfect. I didn't want to deal with a massive faceless corporation. This is a small company where you can talk to the people who own the business. I like that. Personal service. Update Jan 2024: More kudos for B&B - after getting an estimate for a heater replacement from another company, we called them for an estimate as well. They sent a person out the same day who inspected the heater and said the estimate we received was fair. We were not charged for this visit, although it would have been appropriate and we would have happily paid. Once again we were impressed with the professionalism and response from B&B. The only reason we didn't use them for the heater install was that the other company had a quicker turnaround time and it was very cold that week. read more

I could not recommend this hvac company in higher regards - I reached out to them via Yelp and a phone call (desperate for some help haha) and received a response within 30 min- they then reached out via a text to try and schedule me in for a maintenance repair, and even called right away to official book so that she didn't get too busy during workday hours to call and put us in the books. During a holiday week they were able to schedule us for maintaining less than 48hr after reaching out !! Randolph was on time, so personable, and incredibly efficient. Apparently they don't need the business. My landlord called them for an estimate to put in a heating system, and they called me (tenant) to setup a time, and rather than ask me, the scheduler (Connie?) told me 10am tomorrow was their ONLY availability. When I said had an appointment that could not be rescheduled (in less than 24 hours), she said "Fine, I'll call your landlord and say she'll need to find another contractor because that is our ONLY time available". We moved into an older home that needed an air conditioner and heat upgrade. We called several companies and had three come out to give us a bid. One company kept telling me about all their repair truck their company has, that didn't impress me and their bid was high. Home Depot guy gave me a bid of almost $24,000, saying that they need to redo all the vents from the crawl space to the attic. Note he never looked in the attic or the crawl space. Then B&B came out looked at everything and a few days later we received a bid. Half the bid of Home Depot. We scheduled a time to replace the units and could not be happier. Connie was so friendly and helpful as were her installers. We had the install a few months ago, so we have experienced using the AC in the heat and now the winter months using the heat. Everything works great! I highly recommend B&B. They are busy so you can't get an install next day but they are worth the wait. I am extremely pleased with B&B Heating and Air. The furnace in one of my properties was acting up so I hopped on Yelp to find a company to take a look at it. After seeing nothing but 5-star reviews for B&B I reached out to them via Yelp for a quote. I had a call back from Connie quickly (as well as a message through Yelp from Michael) and they were scheduled to be at the house at 1 PM. I got there a few minutes early and B&B arrived there at the exact same time! Aaron and Justin greeted me and I let them get to work. The entire time they gave me updates as to what they were working on as well as photos/videos of what they found. Once they figured out the issue they advised me they'd check things out just to make sure everything is in the best shape it can be. A few cheap parts were recommended and since I'll need A/C servicing before it get's hot again they offered to just install the parts the next time they are out. I won't go into details - and - suffice it to say that her assistance saved me $1,500 and they did not earn a penny for their trouble. I have since had them out to do an annual service on our HVAC systems. I received a confirmation call the evening before our scheduled appointment. Noticed my heater was blowing out cold air this morning. Called a company and they sent someone out and the guy didn't even attempt to fix it. Said... it's old it needs to be replaced. He was here all of 12 min. Told me it would cost 4k in parts if I just wanted a quick fix I decided on a second opinion and Randolph from B&B shows up. He actually did some testing. Found the faulty part. He agreed this unit should be replaced soon but this bought me time. Randolph called around. Found the part I needed locally. Ran over and grabbed it and my house is nice and warm again in under two hours. People like Randolph are why businesses will succeed and why others will fail. Randolph got me through a few more months until I can replace the unit. And I'll be going to his business for the replacement.
