There was zero communication during the day, and the sudden price jump felt completely unjustified. To top it off, I brought my car to another shop the very next day. They had it done ASAP with zero issues--and the total cost was only $169. That says a lot. Completely disappointed in the lack of transparency, professionalism, and honesty. I won't be back and can't recommend them to anyone.

Towing compand was great JB , Mokena, and they brought car to Carrie and husband Tom. Too my surprise car was ready by 1pm Tuesday. Problem fixed and my cost was $62.00. Now we all know that , for instance in Orland, they wouldn't even toucha car unless the bill was over $200 which is what they would have charged me for this problem. My car is something I never want to deal with but now I will never go anywhere but here again. I had Marty help me both times. Took my car to the shop in pretty rough shape both times. Left in 100% better shape after. I've had multiple things done like my brake lines, oil, coolant, spark plugs changed all these things and I have yet to have a single complaint. Mike was quick to fix the exhaust O2 sensors. I had wanted a Flowmaster exhaust since I've owned the truck. Mike is a highly skilled professional. He had installed the Flowmaster cat back system in an hour. I would recommend Mike's work to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. Friday the 17th of July new update, I had set aside the morning to have Mike install new knock sensors, new knock sensor wiring harness and also a new set of manifold gaskets. Mike, after finishing the work on the engine hooked up a OB2 computer diagnostic testing system and cleared codes. The light is off on the dash and I couldn't be happier. Brought my 2010 Volkswagen Jetta with 165k miles to the dealership in Joliet in 2024 for a check…read moreengine light whose code showed a transmission sensor. They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.
