The food in my opinion was not out of this world but it was good enough, not bad but not amazing . The lobster though was very good and I would come back just for that, the service was also good, and the ambiance was just awesome, live musicians on site looking to play anything you might want to hear. Overall our entire party had breakfast and lunch and other than the views I wouldn't return to encanto. We had the chicken fajitas in a boiling hot molcajete along with The queso fundido with chorizo and flour and corn tortillas. If you've ever been there before, you know it's a beautiful place and not only was the food amazing but we also got a show with the huge waves that were splashing up against the outdoor eating area. This restaurant came highly recommended by the owner of our rental down the road and I'm so lucky we decided to try it. It was a gorgeous, sunny 65 day in Mexico with my husband and friends and Encanto made it that much better. First of all, the service was impeccable. The server was friendly, gregarious and on top of everything. Next came the food. The tortilla soup is a must have. It's silky smooth, creamy and delightful. The lobster is out of this world, grilled perfectly and comes with a side of melted butter. The grilled vegetables were well seasoned and a nice accompaniment to the meal. The views are unbeatable and my friends and I hung out and ate for a good two hours while we watched the dolphins and drank our margaritas. The other (4) stars that are missing come from the disgusting food and cheap liquor that is overpriced. $100 pesos for room temperature Costco bottled water! Wow. Was very disappointed coming here! If I could I would give it zero stars!!!!! Traveled very far to come and try Encanto since everyone from TikTok overhyped this place. To start off, our drinks took over 25 minutes to arrive. They sat us in the corner with freezing weather we asked to get a table inside, but they said no tables available. Ok so then, they sit more people down about 30 minutes after we ordered our food. The table behind us, gets all of their food before us. We then get a waitress to complain, she leaves to see what's going on and never comes back. We see another couple of families get their food. Ok STRIKE TWO, we have now waited over an hour and no food, unbelievable!!!! Finally the manager comes and we complain for the second time, we explained the situation. She said our tag was pushed back 5 orders behind other orders since "we ordered a lot of food!" That was definitely not a legitimate excused, I'm not sure if this place is not well organized, lack of communication in the kitchen but this shouldn't have happened. We ended up leaving, it was already too late to eat, when they see us getting up, a waitress says our food was finally coming out. Never did I hear them apologize and accept that they screwed up with our order. I was looking forward to recommend people here but after the horrible customer service we received, I wouldn't recommend. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! The only best thing I got out of here were the beautiful view pictures with my husband and our delicious fresh lemonade. Dinner here is a complete experience. I cannot say anything different from what has already been said on the view and location as it is as good as it gets. The food is fresh and prepared well and of course is why you come here to dine. But let me tell you the extra of having the live music performers there with their variety of music created an atmosphere that i really wish i could replicate back home so i can return again and again. And for me personally the service went absolutely above and beyond to make my evening perfect, from the hostess pushing to get me seated on the terrace without a reservation before the sun set, to my waiter finding out where i can get the cute little cups they server the coffee in, you just don't great service like this too often anymore. Such a beautiful location. Be careful, though where you sit at high tide. The Margaritas are the best we had while visiting Rosarito. The shrimp cocktail and ceviche are super fresh and so good!
