The spa is tucked away in a charming little area within walking distance of great restaurants in downtown Solvang. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I had one of the best massages I've had in a long time with Usha. I tend to carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and shoulder blades, and she worked through all my trouble spots with expert care. I left feeling completely refreshed, stress-free, and overall just so much better. If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must-visit! Be sure to ask for Usha--she's amazing. What a fabulous experience! My girlfriends and I came to Solvang for a girls trip and wanted to treat ourselves to some relaxation. Enchante Spa was just that and more! Had a couple's massage. Felt very nice and relaxing. Those ladies were excellent. The facility is a little cluttered, and the nail lady is quite loud... Was a bit off-put by the fact that the ladies bring their own towels from home and wash them themselves. When we checked-in one of the massage therapists was leaving for the day with her backpack full of used towels from her shift. Note, you have to pay through Venmo. If you get a couple's massage, you have to pay each lady separately. For the price, it would've been nice to have some water or tea after. All in all, it just felt a bit unprofessional. Great massage from 2 very talented therapists! My husband and I received a 90-minute couples deep tissue massage from Dawn and Bay for our anniversary getaway. My partner and I enjoyed a honeymoon road trip down the California coast in September. We stayed at the Wine Valley Inn & Cottage (which was very enjoyable) and decided a honeymoon is a perfect time for a couples massage. Neither of us had ever had one before so we weren't sure what to expect. It was not awkward or uncomfortable at all. In reality I almost forgot we were in the room together because it was so relaxing and quiet except for some light music. Our masseuses were so welcoming, accommodating and thoughtful (also super quiet). They wore masks, washed their hands and took as much precaution as possible with covid. We both had amazing massages (the right amount of pressure, never rushed) and felt so relaxed after, perfect way to cap off our day. At the end of our massage our masseuses asked about our wedding and wanted to see pictures. They were both so genuinely nice, I wish we lived in the area so we could go back! They Miss led my fiancé into thinking they have been in touch with me for a couples massage that I have set up for with a different massage spa. At the end of the couples massage I find out it was not the correct spa and it turns out they have not been texting with me like they said & at the same time I no showed the The original couples massage at the other spa that already gave a deposit to thinking I was the the correct one. At the end of the massage they wanted $240 cash and told me I needed to pay them separate. Because they are outsourced. I told them I had already given a deposit. and understood what had happened. I've never seen my wife cry after getting her nails done. For the price she paid here, she could have gotten a soak, massage, a clip, and two coatings of paint. Instead, all she got was her nails filed and then painted over the nail dust. My wife spent 6 weeks in the hospital to give birth to our newborn and this was her first manicure since we took our baby home so she was considerably disappointed. In spite of that, she still tipped 20%. After leaving, however, her manicurist CALLED HER ON THE PHONE and proceeded to berate her for not being grateful enough. My wife told her the job was not what she expected and the manicurist said she was rude and then hung up on her. This was an absolutely unreal experience. Its so welcoming and soothing as you walk through the walkway. Meggan was very heartwarming and made it feel comfortable for our first time. My husband and I had 30 minute massages, one after the other. She had really good pressure (medium for me) throughout my whole body and found knots and helped release them. My husband had a harder pressure massage and asked to focus more on his back. We both enjoyed this therapeutic massage for our anniversary. Even when I lived in KY, I would make sure to schedule a nail appointment with my technician in LA because no one else did it to my satisfaction. Super cute little spa! We came here for a massage with Megan (highly recommend her), and the spot was really adorable. It's a little house converted into a spa so it has a homey feel to it. The outside is covered in vines and the inside it very country-cottage. The massage room is super comfortable and relaxing. Unfortunately a good massage turned bad. We pre-booked a couples massage and pre-paid a $170 deposit through Venmo. We communicated via text about the location of the spa, when we walked by this massage place, they waved me in, I mentioned having an appointment for a couples massage under my husbands name and that he's been texting someone at the spa and they just went along with it like yeah, they had it all arranged and we were good to go. We went through the whole massage and at the end they told us we owed $240, we were shocked and mentioned the deposit and she said she knew nothing about a deposit and that we didn't even have an appointment. We felt totally deceived and tricked. One of the massage therapists felt really bad about the whole situation, she gave us $40 back... we spent over $400 on a couples massage when we should have just owed $200. Messed up & shady. I wish they would have just simply said; no, we don't have you down for an appointment. It would have been so easy to avoid this situation. read more

My girlfriend and I did a "girlfriends" massage together. Our masseuses were fantastic. We had Linda and Bay. They had little touches that made all the difference such as warm towels on our face and wrapped around our feet. Facial massage was part of the total experience. Hot towels to wipe off the oils. This is the best mani/pedi experience I have ever had. From my phone call with Deborah, the owner, to schedule the appointment to the pretty, shiny fingers and toes I'm still showing off four days later, everything about Enchante was perfect. My mom, sister, and I were on a girls' weekend and Enchante was able to accomodate all three of us at the same time. We had a blast with Deborah, Stephanie, and Fiona...it was like being in Truvy's salon in "Steel Magnolias"- we felt like we were hanging out with our dearest friends in the world. Deborah has been in business for 13 years and it's no wonder. The cottage is so inviting and the spa menu is extensive; I heard great things about their massages and facials. They have over 300 polish choices (OPI, Essie, and some China Glaze) and they take their time to make sure you are happy and relaxed. Between the neck wraps and the freshly made scones they offer you (and offer again and again if you should refuse at first), you will not want to leave Enchante. She is extremely talented when it comes to pink and white acrylic nails and she doesn't use a drill. All filing is done by hand with utmost care. She selects only the highest quality product to use on her clients, Tammy Taylor is one of them, and sells a large assortment of lotions and accessories. This place is just darling! Conveniently located in town but just outside the center enough that there is plenty of parking around. The spa itself is adorable- appointed with cute decor and great items for sale. My first visit I saw Lindsey the esthetician for some long overdue, shall we say "maintenance." Lindsey was kind and thorough and knows what she's doing. I didn't go for anything major and still left there feeling great! I immediately booked for a follow up appointment and will also be booking a facial. Their manicure/pedicure setup looked great and I'll likely be back for that as well. I love it here! My only complaint is that I didn't spend more time here. On my birthday I received a much needed facial by Stephanie and then a relaxing massage by Fiona. I didn't have to leave the bed in between sessions. They treated me like a V.I.P. even before I told them it was my birthday. I wanted to sleep during my facial because it was so relaxing just stepping foot in the Parisian style spa. Both women were vey professional and hospitable. This little spa is amazing! The spa really is a quaint little cottage and has all the comforts of a home. Everything from the flowers outside to the interior decor make for a comfortable spa like experience. I'm typically not a spa girl and don't enjoy going to the nail salon for pedicures but (if I lived closer) I'd ask Deborah to do all of my pedicures. I also enjoyed lunch following my pedicure. Enjoying an obviously homemade grilled chicken salad, fresh scones and tea on the porch on a sunny day was phenomenal! I can't say enough about Enchante Cottage Spa. You won't be disappointed! Overall: nice ambiance, owner and employees are very friendly and hospitable, but really expensive ($80 for two so-so pedicures). You need to make an appointment 1-2 weeks in advance in order to be seen and it is very rare for them to have the availability for two people at the same time. Small, but quaint little place. They offer you scones and hot tea or coffee (I had the peach tea and wild berry scone - delish!). Not your average nail salon. HTH! read more
