I was staying in town after doing a half marathon in Solvang. Made an appointment the previous day. I got a deluxe pedicure from Jack and had the best experience. One hour of pampered bliss...great massage and the feet loved the pressure point massage. My feet and legs were happy afterwards. Place was super clean and the owners are friendly and welcoming. I showed up for an appointment today that was scheduled for 130 when I arrived someone from way across the room said, 'can I help you' and there was no way my response would be herd with masks on. They should have somebody manning the front of the shop and they did not. Then when I told him I was scheduled for a pedicure at 1:30 they said 'sorry we're running a little bit late'. I said 'what does a little bit mean' and they said 'at least a half an hour late'. I said 'that is unacceptable and not professional of you not to have called and told me that'. Despite the previous reviews I was in the area and had some time to kill, desperately need a pedi! They took me right in without an appointment, no waiting, gotta love that! The shop is real clean. They have a nice little waiting area with magazines, nail art designs and nice selection of nail colors. The pedi chairs are real comfortable and provide a good massage while the toes are getting pampered. Jack did a great pedi and my feet feel great! This pedi was worth $25, I will definately go back when I'm in the area!! read more

Stopped in for a quick mani-pedi after a day of wine tasting. My first impression -- the place seemed clean and calm. I was met by a young girl who acted like she couldn't be bothered and got upset when a bottle of nail polish fell over when I got into the chair. I worried she was going to be my manicurist - and quickly contemplated leaving. But when she walked away and someone else came over, I was relieved. The rest of the experience was pretty good. The guy who did my mani-ped was very thorough. Perfect buff on the nails - did a great job smoothing out my feet. Why three stars? I wasn't expecting to pay $40 before the tip. read more

I hate to give a bad review but the place smelled like chemicals and the man that work there was so rude to me I walked out almost in tears I do not recommend anyone going there. This was my second attempt to get a pedicure there the first time they were having some sort of a check from the health department and they stuffed a box behind my mother's chair trying to concel something. I don't know what's wrong with them but they need to really get it together. read more

I hadn't been here for a long time and understand some of the concerns mentioned by earlier posters. That said, in a rush I decided to drop by for a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised at the changes. They have revamped, all new chairs and soaking tubs. They also used a disposable liner in the tub. I got an amazing massage from Jack and a great pedicure, and will definitely be going back. read more

I could have done a better job myself and saved $25. The staff was friendly, but this had to be the fastest pedi ever (after all, she did have to go pick up her daughter from school!) She waved a file over my nails for two seconds, clipped the cuticles and lightly rubbed my feet There was so much polish on my skin...would it have been too much trouble to clean it up? read more

Walked in, asked if they had time to do a mani, asked about nail art. They offer none. No biggie, I figured I'd go the traditional route - picked out a bottle of polish from the wall. As I was selecting, another client walked-in for a mani-pedi. She probably had an appointment because they took her in first. After an hour of being completely ignored, I figured I'd head to Solvang. This place is really expensive and I can tell my gel nails are probably not going to last for a wedding I have next weekend. I saw the reviews and debated coming here but was in the area and needed something quick and it was convenient. I was not expecting to pay $60 for a gel mani/pedi (maybe I'm really spoiled from living in the LA area but that's outrageous to me). I would suggest going at least to Solvang where there's more selection, and hopefully better quality for the $$. read more

This is by far my most favorite place. The owners are very nice and personable. Jack always gives an amazing massage with his pedicures and Tom also. I will be moving soon but will make the 40'minute drive back to town to come here. It's worth it !! read more

This salon is clean and the people are nice....to a point. The owner is not satisfied with a 15% tip. He seems to have an insatiable appetite for extra large tips and reducing the value of gift certificates. Recent Example: My daughter went to use her $40 gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure which included tip. When she got in there they told her the certificate was EXPIRED, but they would be "happy to give her a $20 credit," but she would have to pay the balance. My daughter also wanted to have her daughter's toes painted which was $5. In the end, the owner charged her $20 for her mani/pedi, $5 for painting the little one's toes, and had the gall to ask for additional tip! In the end he swindled her out of $20 more dollars in tip! Her mani/pedi and little one's pedi cost a total of $85! Don't get ripped off! Be aware of these places. A friend of mine got viral warts under her left thumb from the one in Solvang on Mission Drive (246). read more

I just went to this salon for the third time for a pedicure. The first time was adequate, and last time was ok except my toe nails were uneven and cut so that they were sharp to the touch. I went to the same person and was disappointing as the first thing she did was hurt me with her nail clippers and didn't take the time to communicate with me about how I wanted them cut or filed. She was very rough so I asked her to be more gentle. Then, she burned my feet with the hot towel.... it was not the relaxing peaceful experience I had hoped to attain while getting a pedicure. To top it off... she left in the middle of it and gave me over to a gentlemen, who was indeed gentle and more customer service oriented than she (perhaps the owner?) was. I doubt that I'll ever go back there. I was hoping to establish a long lasting relationship with them because their prices are reasonable and it's easy to make an appointment. Guess I'll have to pay more to get more. read more

Stop for a quick pedicure for my trip and it seem like a nice and clean place to me. The massage chair look brand new and very clean, their customer services is awesome.
