Levi was so quick, transparent, and courteous on the phone that I decided to book him right away. He came directly to our house within an hour, which was incredibly convenient. My girlfriend and I were a bit indecisive about exactly what we wanted, but Levi was incredibly patient and professional while we figured it out. Once we settled on the plan, he was highly efficient and thorough. He made sure the new key and fob worked well with the car before he left. I would call Levi again anytime.

The two technicians assigned to do the installation, Felix and Larry, were very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. They knew what they were doing and it showed in the quality of their work. What I was particularly impressed with was their ability to come up with creative solutions for the wiring of both the intercom and the elevator keypad. Some vendors we contacted were reluctant to bid on the project because of the challenges involved, especially with the elevator keypad installation. I can see why Guardian Angel gets such great reviews on Yelp. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Every time I have visited MAGDONAL's lock and key, the Great Magdonal hasnt been present. Today I visited for some quick house keys copied, and again--no Magdonal. I vented my frustration to one of MAGDONAL's highly trained ninja Jedi assistant sensei locksmiths, and he explained that Magdonal trained all staff rigorously, so that in his absence all customers would be in good hands. He also clarified that Magdonal had his staff in place so that Magdonal could spread the lock and key gospel to the people of the world. What is a lock, with no key? What is a key with no lock? The lock/key yin/yang sermon. Without one, the other is useless. I realized I was being selfish and did not want to impede on Magdonal's mission. Staff was great. Quick, competent, and pleasant. Boom boom boom. Keys copied and color coded on a Saturday. And they clarified that Magdonal works in the mornings, which made sense because I don't think I'd visit in the mornings. See the sad BEFORE pics for broken springs & latch.. Joesph gave a reasonable & competitive quote, especially when prices have inflated everywhere. He also accepts credit card payments, but cash is best to support him as a small business owner. Given the challenges with the preexisting drilled hole in the door, he was able to get creative & install the brand new Kwikset after the initial Schlage replacement brand didn't fit correctly. He adjusted the door hinges & tightened the exterior base border as a courtesy. He also made extra copies of the keys. Extremely knowledgeable & kind. Works very hard & cares to make needed repairs properly. He kept going back & forth to his vehicle to grab all the necessary tools & parts. He also tested the duplicates to ensure it was working. I couldn't open the doors, so frustrating. Finally, on my 20th call, I found Westhills Lock. Ami is an "old school antique key expert," and makes the key in his van at your location. AND very reasonable. He's told me he is also called to make keys for old cars, really the only one around that can make these keys. Kind of a "treasure" to have in our community.
