She also gave us a tour of the shop. One of the rooms gave both of us chills and made us feel lightheaded! It was a really interesting place and experience! Display only", but a staff member called the owner/s to ask permission to sell him and they let me have him for the usual price of $34. They said the manufacturer doesn't make STAR TREK figures any more. I wish I could get the whole original crew, and Next Gen, too. But for now, I'm content to have Spock next to my C-3PO figure. It's usually the same every year, plus the additions of the newest trending shows or movies costumes. I like how they have a little "haunted house" zone in the center of the store to check out the jump scare animatronics. It's a nice set up. As soon as we walked in today, the security guard, Michael, stopped me and told me I couldn't enter because of my purse and their theft policy. First of all, where is this policy posted? There was no sign outside the store, nothing clearly posted at the entrance, and nothing on the website explaining a purse size restriction. I also saw other customers inside carrying backpacks, so naturally I questioned why I was being singled out. Then the manager, MJ, came over and honestly made the situation even worse. Her explanation kept changing. At one point, we were told they needed to look through my purse. That is not something I was comfortable with, and the entire situation felt invasive and completely unnecessary. What really made this experience worse was the attitude from the employees. While we were explaining how upset and uncomfortable we were, the key holder working at the register was making rude comments toward us and basically adding fuel to the fire.
