And let me tell you, that first experience was terrible. I felt every single injection and my lips afterwards were not proportionate. I was really hesitant after that to get fillers but a friend highly recommended Adrianne. She is really good at what she does. I did half a syringe again. Did not feel a single shot. Finally getting around to writing my long overdue review! I have seen Adrianne now about 4 times for lip and cheek filler (at both locations), and I can absolutely say I will never go to anyone else. I had originally had lip filler once before by someone who was a bit cheaper and far less experienced before seeing Adrianne. I liked my lip filler from my previous injector but only because I liked that my lips had grown, but after a while the filler had migrated and started to settle strangely. I did some research and found Encore Medspa, I got an appointment and met with Adrianne, and right away I knew I was in much more experienced hands. Lips- She showed me underneath where it had migrated, I didn't even realize how far it had gone (scary). She dissolved my filler first, and then added new filler (with a better product). The results- Exactly what I wanted! I was afraid of looking over done, but also worried about it not being noticeable enough. I think it's a perfect balance, and my confidence has definitely been boosted! Chapstick some days is all I need! Also, the numbing process they use you barely feel a thing, and the results are more than worth it. Cheeks- After loving my lips so much, when I went back to Adrianne for my follow up I asked her about some other pictures I had seen of her work with cheek fillers. She explained to me what we could do to define my face more so I would have more of that curve like in filters. The procedure took all of 15 mins and the down time was pretty much that night. LOVE the definition it has brought to my face, and the results are so natural but really chisel out my cheek bones! My experience at Encore MedSpa and with Adrianne has exceeded more than my expectations, and I've realized when it comes to something as serious as your face you want to be in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing and will do it correctly the first time! I started going to Encore Medspa in walnut creek. Adrianne is my injector, and I absolutely love her. She is definitely a perfectionist. I came to her with previous lip filler and migration, and it's been a long process of dissolving and filler and dissolving and more filler. I will say that I've never been as happy with my results as I have been here at Encore Medspa, and my results of filler and Botox look very natural. It's never overdone, it's never exaggerated. Encore Medspa is hands-down the best in the Bay Area. I drive 1-1.5 hours to see the team and Adrienne specifically for Botox and lips. I've also had a few hydrafacials as well (which are incredible for your skin). I've been to both locations and I've seen the team consistently since 2019. I replaced another practitioner due to subpar work, and it was the best decision - because when it comes to our face, we should only have the absolute best. Adrienne's team is extremely accommodating and communicates well, they're very kind and it's clear they orient around a patient-first mindset. Adrienne is not only the best at her craft, but I appreciate her transparency and ongoing pursuit of continual education. It would be easier to stagnate because she is SO good at what she does, but instead she is constantly reinvesting in her education/learning/skills whilst simultaneously up-skilling her team. Transparency wise - I appreciate her candor, because there have been times I wanted an appointment sooner than what was safe and she said let's wait a bit. It's rare that a smaller business would essentially turn down revenue, so that is one small example of the trust she has earned/gained from me. Lastly, I've received many compliments on my youthful look and overall aesthetic since being under Adrienne's care without jeopardizing my natural appearance. I came to Encore with extremely BOTCHED lips. Please go to my profile and look up my previous review for "Kathy Aronson" to see how bad they were. After that incident, I became obsessed with finding someone who had a good technique and I did my research and found Adrianne through Instagram. I went through 11 vials of dissolver over 4 sessions and was seen by Jenny, Denise (who isn't there anymore) and of course Adrianne. They were all extremely knowledgeable and truthful with me and never pressured me into anything. After dissolving, Adrienne filled my lips as she had the most expertise in my lip-type (m shaped, inverted, thick border) and she did FABULOUS. I have difficult lips and easy to mess up and Adrianne has been nothing but accomodating. I had my 2 week follow up and I explained to her I felt like I had a slight ridge on my right side and she dissolved the little bit for me. I went back again a week later and we did a mini lip plump to even out some of the lips and make my bottom a bit fuller. Uneveness is expected with dissolved lips and I don't fault her at all for this. I know if I have any concerns she'll be happy to address them. I just want to warn other people because i was not properly warned of the potential bruising that can occur after lip injections. Adrienne did not give me a clear expectation on how the bruising might be. I had a trip planned 9 days after my injections and I was still bruised. It took a solid 12 days for all my bruising to go away. If I would have known that ahead of time I wouldn't have been so upset and I would have scheduled my appointment more appropriately. I do think my lips look good now, but I think everyone should be told it's a 2 week healing process. And If yours heal much faster than ok that's great. But better to be warned of the worst case scenario than to be trying to cover horrible bruises for days on end when you have to go to work or out in public. I wish I would have taken more pictures but here is day 1 and day 8....I iced for 48 hours after my injection and I did everything she told me to do as far as avoiding exercise and blood thinners and supplements before and after my treatment. My overall review is she is good with lips but needs to be more clear with her patients on what to expect afterwards. These bruises were very hard to cover for about 5 days. It's hard to tell but I was bruised under and on top of my lips as well above and below the lip line. read more

Short story: if your hesitant about getting fillers, this is the perfect place for you. I've had a great experience getting fillers here. Long story: I first went to a famous place in Los Angeles to get lip fillers done and they definitely went overboard. They were too pouty and too fake looking. It took me some time to find a new place and I decided to go with Encore after reading all the great reviews and I'm so happy I did. I've gotten my lips done by Adrianne twice. First you need to set up a consultation with her so she can assess what your going for. Since I had old filler, I needed to get it completely removed before getting them redone. Once they were clear of the old material, Adrianne was able to fill them up and she did it perfectly. I wanted a natural enhancement and that's what she delivered. She really listens to what you want. I've also gotten chin filler and Botox with Adrianne and she did a great job with them. One of the reasons I love this place is because Adrianne has told me that they'll say when I've done too much or when I need to cut back. I think that's important because you know they're not just trying to grab your money. They want you to look your best. Also, when it comes to enhancements, it's nice to have an objective person tell you your doing too much to your face. I was introduced to filler 5 years ago and bounced from injector to injector trying to find someone who would help me achieve my goal... some nice big plump symmetrical lips! I mean who doesn't want that right ? All I was achieving with my previous injectors were migrated filler and lumpy lips. Well after many trial and error with 3 other injectors I became desperate and seeked out to social media for an answer and that's where I found encore medspa ,specifically Adrianne's Instagram who she had many patients with results I wanted. After reaching out to Adrianne and explaining my issue I decided to book an appointment. Adrianne likes to start on a fresh canvas, we decided it was best I dissolved all of my lip filler and start fresh. From there i explained my goal and went on from there. Let me tell you... Adrianne is a PRO at what she does. The technique she uses makes a BIG difference on the shape and height of your lips, I was able to achieve my goal with minimal filler compared to other injectors who used a lot more filler and still didn't even do what Adrianne did. One thing I can say is that she is very passionate about her work. She will not inject if she feels you have too much filler, need dissolving, etc. she takes PRIDE and won't have you walking out botched. Every couple of months I do visit Adrianne for maintenance just to keep up on filler as it does eventually migrate a bit or slowly starts going away. I got the Hydra-facial done for the first time with Jean last time. She was so great at explaining every step and what she was going to do before she would start the process. The entire time she focused on my facial and asked me questions to better understand my routine and even recommended different tips and products to help my skin problems. The level of personal care I've gotten from Cindy is above and beyond what I've previously received. So...... Since my original post I received an email from the "I don't know who she is person", at Encore MedSpa because there is no title in the signature line AND they have a "GMAIL" email account. Anyway, this is what she says: "This had never happened before and was shocking to us as well. It was handled immediately within human resources guidelines and company policy. I responded to your formal complaint both in writing and with a follow up voicemail. It's apparent you needed to voice your dissatisfaction with Encore MedSpa on a public platform although it was handled internally. With that being said, it would be best that we no longer treat you." This is the type of professionals overseeing their "MedSpa". Beware. This makes me question EVERYTHING about them as a business and their professional credentials. I guess her reasoning is because they handled it internally, I should not have shared my very valid experience publicly. They simply just don't get it. We should not be so quickly influenced by businesses that put "MED" in their name in order to influence the public into thinking they are medically inclined. This is false.
