Obviously the laws have changed in New Jersey over the years since I lived there they will pass junk in New Jersey.. You know like rocker panel ROT!! They should have at least cut me a break on some of the repairs.. $3,000 was a bit excessive. I guess I should have got it inspected sooner but you do have two weeks to get it inspected at that time I had to make an appointment to get done. Apparently there was a rash of inspection frauds going on.... My biggest beef is they said it would pass inspection, did not specify what stated would pass.

Unfortunately, within only 1,500 miles of driving, the vehicle began overheating. I contacted the ProGuard warranty company and brought the Jeep to three different shops, all of which diagnosed the issue as a head gasket problem. During this time, my vehicle sat in shops for about 2 1/2 weeks. I reached out to the dealership about these issues, but instead of offering support, I was told by a representative that it wasn't their fault and that I was "taking it too far." Keep in mind, the shops I went to were the ones recommended by the warranty company the dealership sold me. Eventually, I was referred to the dealership's own service shop, which is an hour away from me. That shop claimed it was only a radiator cap issue. However, the warranty company refused to cover it, and when I went back to the dealership, I was told that since it was outside the 90-day window, nothing could be done. Their final response was that the vehicle was sold "as is." As a consumer, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected honesty and accountability, but instead, I was left with an unreliable vehicle and no real support. For anyone considering buying from this dealership -- think twice. They don't seem to care about the customer, only the sale.
