The first appointment I got was for a Sunday. Of course they were closed-- never found out why their scheduler was able to create such an appointment. The second appointment was for 4:30 on Tuesday After waiting 1 1/2 hrs they finally took me at 6. The lab personnel are very nice and quick and professional. But the reception desk never informed me how late they were running. It's just not worth the wasted time when we have other choices nearby. read more

The staff at the actual facility are friendly and helpful. Perhaps it is due to the fact that it shares the reception and space with Cedars Sinai. BUT the staff at the call center to make appointments sound annoyed that they have to take your call and help. The facilities are clean and modern. read more

I'm in my mid 30s and had a mammogram in early 2025. After my mammogram they told me to call to schedule an appointment for a biopsy. I called this office over 10 times, various times of day for 3 months. It went to voicemail every time. I left a message every time and no one ever returned my call. The nurses and technicians are really good, but the receptionists are unresponsive. read more

If you have another option, use it! I gave this place 2 stars because once you're in, the team is kind. But any and everything else is a HUGE problem. Firstly, they rarely check that you have authorization OR that someone on their team has taken in your insurance information correctly - so make sure you take your valuable time to triple check (by making additional calls) so you can actually attend your appointment and don't have to pay out of pocket. If you call, you will be transferred to a call center in Oklahoma - they don't know anything about anything except for how to schedule an appointment. Also, plan to be on a hold for a long amount of time. If you call and you "dial 7" to talk to the front desk, no one ever ever ever picks up. Ever. So plan on having to drive there to ask your question - probably to be turned away and having to come back at a later time. If your doctor calls to get any sort of information, warn them that the customer service is poor and they will most likely be treated rudely, like mine was. And in case you were like me and didn't realize that you can shop around and go to other imaging centers, you CAN! And you should! read more

I wouldn't "claim" this business on Yelp if it were mine either. Ever since Mink got bought and moved across the hall it's a clusterfk. Making appointments is miserable. They have the paperwork, they don't have the paperwork. They really don't know. Then, when they do have the paperwork, one of the schedulers has no idea what she is scheduling! They massively over book and tou can wait 1 to 3 hours. Not joking. Oh, and one of my appointments the doctor decided to leave and not tell anyone apparently so they had me sitting in the room for about 2 hours until I lost my sh*t and left. I've talked to other patients and I'm not the only one this happens to. While the staff and management are very nice, it doesn't balance out the absolute miserable experiences. I hope to avoid this place, which sucks for me because I get a lot of scans and this is closest. read more

Her calm demeanor, clear communication, and genuine care made a stressful appointment feel easy. This level of compassion truly matters and deserves recognition. Terrible customer service from the front desk, Sophia to be exact- I had an appointment at 7:00am and was told they didn't have my appointment information- I called my insurance and they faxed it over right away- I asked Sophia if she could check to see if they received it- She didn't bother checking at all- She was extremely rude and just didn't give a crap, she seem to love giving me a really hard time- I was waiting and waiting watching all these people that got there after me go before me- I asked to speak to the manager, she said they will get me in- After an hour and 45mins later I was called- I left that place at 9:20am which was stupid ridiculous- Extremely horrible customer service- They should be ashamed of themselves- The manager saw me waiting and waiting and also did nothing- This was all purposely done, so unprofessional - 0 stars!!!!!! read more

This facility is beautiful, but parking can be a bear. Parking garage next to the building is convenient but not validated. Parking with the valet is validated but limited. Valet is kind, fair, and helpful. Upon entry, head toward the security guard (who is also nice) on the main floor and hang a right next to their desk. Checkin with the Mink reception staff was straight forward and highly efficient, because they ask you to complete paperwork & provide referral online prior to your visit. The waiting room is large, and it was full during my visit. They seated me in the inner waiting room when my appointment was next up, and that room quickly filled, too. Wait was not bad. My technician, Brenna was highly skilled and had great bedside manner. This was not her first rodeo ... or mine. Honestly, Brenna made this the most amazing Imaging appointment I have had in my long history of imaging & doctor visits. Brenna's Imaging room smelled like Christmas and was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. She had some Christmas tunes playing lightly in the background and even turned off the main lights, which made it a more chill environment. The patient table was super comfy (nicely cushioned yet firmly supported). I think the only downside was the size of the table. If you have any physical impediments, turning on the table might be a challenge. The only other downside to the visit itself is that they do not provide you with a direct number to the reception desk. So, you can't call to let them know you're running late or find out if you accidently left something there. read more

As a doctor myself who used to refer my patients here, I am appalled. I had a family member obtain an MRI scan, and was told that in the event my insurance did not cover the service I would be able to pay the cash rate. Fair, no problem. Flash forward and my insurance did not cover. Then I was told that because they " tried" to get it covered through insurance, I could no longer pay the cash rate, and the new invoice was double. WTF? As a physician in private practice for two decades myself, not once has such a bizarre situation occurred in my offices. I attempted to contact my rep but she then ghosted me, and then eventually replied with some platitude nonsense. I then left a voicemail w their " director of operations" Khoi, who couldn't be bothered to call me back... still. I will not be referring any of my patients here any longer and buyer beware with these deceptive billing practice. This complete lack of consideration, compassion, or basic follow through is just pathetic in a healthcare environment. The silver lining is when I called the billing dept directly, the very kind agent expressed frustration as this was an ongoing problem, specifically the lack of transparency with this business. She was able to provide a fair solution. Mink also failed to mention there is a facility fee as well just to walk into the building. It is one thing to have these random "fees" and policies, but the lack of integrity or transparency, followed by just ignoring an upset client, is alarming. Buyer beware. There are far superior options in LA. read more

Office does not verify whether authorization has been received. Spent the time to drive there and the front office staff is not responsive. Arrived early for an 8:00 a.m. appointment and after repeatedly approaching staff, they just nodded that I had an appointment. Waited (almost 30 minutes), filled out the paperwork and it stated my MRI would be out-of-pocket because they had not received authorization for the exam! Why couldn't the staff have told me that when I arrived; even more why not call before hand to let me know? A wasted trip for an early morning appointment. read more

I originally wrote this review the day I came out of my MRI. I was so traumatized I didn't post it. Posting later. I had three MRIs here done in one go. I have to get MRIs regularly and listen, it's never fun. But this was awful. The technicians were rude and plainly incompetent. I am claustrophobic (and medicated like normal) and told them immediately and then asked them to talk to me, and they just didn't. They said, "Here we go." Then silence for over 20 mins. Then "moving to the next area" and silence for over 20 mins. I literally was talking asking for them to listen, and they never heard me, which is terrifying. I inadvertently started moving. The back of my head was killing me on the awful board this MRI machine has, this NEEDS to be fixed, something has to be wrong. Rather than talk to me, they came over the speaker and told me they'd have to reschedule me if I moved again. I've never been threatened during an MRI. I asked again for them to talk to me. Again they didn't. I understand every movement causes delays. They got me 25 mins late, it happens! But the moment I walked in I was rushed. I was not only anxious because of having to be in the machine for an hour and a half but now I had a technician threatening to cancel my whole appointment, was rushing me, and not doing the basics I asked for. I asked again for them to talk to me, and again they didn't. Finally I said please take me out and get my mom. I was crying, but never moved from my position on the board. I was told "not to be mean but if you can't stop and get it together we have to reschedule you." He repeated this again to my mother for me hear. Then he said, "she has a lot left, she's not going to be able to do it." Who talks like that to a patient? It felt like he wanted to reschedule me to leave work, and didn't care what emotional distress he put me through. I said again, "PLEASE, PLEASE talk to me. I can't reschedule I have my appointment next week. Please just give me updates." This time they gave me updates and they spoke to me. The normal updates "this parts one minute. This parts two minutes and ten seconds." And I was able to stay still. This isn't my first rodeo, I know what patient care is for MRIs. Then I came out for contrast and they couldn't get the injection in the first time, it was so painful. This is my 4th MRI technician, 11th MRI, in one year, and I have never been treated like this. If patients are being scheduled so closely together the technician doesn't have one minute to calm down a patient or speak to them through the speaker phone, something is very wrong. I walked out after and was upset and talking about how awful my experience was with my mom and boyfriend and other patients overheard, I had no intention to scare them, but they started asking me questions and I told them how awful the technicians were. Another patient was at the front also complaining. I will continue to tell people not to come here. No one should be treated like I was and MRI technicians should know what they're doing. The board needs to be fixed to not hurt peoples head and the technicians need to understand the basics of patient care. To top it all off this MRI images came back awful. The technician decided to just let me continue with horrific images. They read as confusing by both the radiologist and my doctor and now I do not have accurate images from this point in time. Which I can never get back. Every time I go in for an evaluation they have said "well these are basically unusable." One movement was read as a possible lesion. This experience was traumatizing and continues to affect my care. Shame on this technician for shaming me, being rude, and then not giving me proper feedback to tell me the images will turn out horrible. Infuriating! read more

I went in for X-rays and first thing you see when yo walk in is Sonia's smiling face! She is so sweet and welcoming when you walk in! Then not 2 minutes later Mark came and brought me to the back. He was so excited about his new X-ray machine. He explained everything to me and was so sweet and knowledgeable. He really put me at ease. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND this location!!!! Such nice! read more

The Latino lady with the blonde highlights and bad skin at the front was rude didn't even look me in the face when I got there seemed like I was bothering her. Also said They wouldn't treat me when I drove an hour to get there. Then she said something along the lines like, "not my fault it's company policy." Reason being I didn't have my medi-cal card and I understand it's a policy, but I had my insurance information and it was the first thing I handed her. Ive been to so many doctors appointments this past month until now and that's never the case. Then, like most places she asked her co worker to run my insurance. That's literally all she had to say " give me a sec I have to run your insurance." No people skills at all. We don't go to this establishments for fun we are there in pain, going through something with our bodies and frustrated we don't feel normal. No need to stress people out more. If you have no empathy get out of the health and wellness industry. Just to be clear I am also Latina by no means is that meant in a derogatory manner. I Just didn't get her name. Ultrasound specialist and her assistant were very nice and professional but after leaving there I experienced a lot of pain and swelling because she was doing my ultrasound with extra pressure. Ive had about three ultrasounds in the past 4 weeks nobody has ever been that rough. Soon as I left I experienced more pain and more swelling. Also the parking situation is atrocious. My ride went in with me asked for validation they said no validation park where is says reserved. When we got there we saw a reserved parking spot open but since it says reserved we didn't park there and thought oh the parking lot must be where you park. Logically that makes sense but this place isn't a very logical place. My mom was a minute late to go move her car and it cost 16$ for one minute despicable. Oh and the reserved parking is tiny probably 9 stalls. This place doesn't value patients and our pain. Don't go. I'm editing my review and adding a star to state that I am at least grateful that the radiologist called within three hours to express concern and he was very thorough on the phone. Zero star but that's not an option. This office is awful Of all places I've gone to get my Mammogram/ ultrasound , this place is by far The worst. I came in across the office as it says radiology and signed in. After a while, I was told I was in the wrong office. Its right across. I walked in and the receptionist told me my appt is at 10:05. This is now at 10:11. I asked if they have a grace period and she kept saying she has to ask the manager. I would have gone if I didn't have to pay the parking $11. I was not that late as i checked-in across the office. She said you're late, you're late. But never said what's the grace period for patients. read more

Can't recommend this place enough! I was able to get a 7:45am appointment a couple days after my doctor referred me for an ultrasound. When I arrived the staff was friendly and even suggested that I move my car out of the parking deck and park in their reserved spots out front to avoid having to pay! They called me into the office for the ultrasound 5 mins after my appointment time & it was done efficiently with a friendly tech. Nice staff, free parking, clean rooms, and a beautiful view of the Marina across the street. Would recommend! read more

Website is poorly built and patient portal is hard to navigate, images of scans are blurry. Customer support line yields multiple departments, exhausting AI, and long wait times. just . I'm a cancer patient and I had to ask MRI techs to wear a mask to protect me and then subsequently had to ask a second time. While other MRI facilities offer music I was told NO by my tech. My bone density report summary was poorly done and incomplete. I'll be looking for a new team to do all my MRI's and bone density tests moving forward. In this country when we pay huge dollars for health related scans we should expect more from groups like this. read more

After receiving an order for an ultrasound and making an appointment- they canceled my appointment without notifying me first because they decided I need another test done in addition to the ultrasound and need an order for that test first. So instead of letting me know they needed an order for that 2nd test before my appt or instead of letting me have my ultrasound and then come back another day for that other test they cancel it. read more

I had a mammogram done recently. I tried to contact someone to tell them about my experience but no one called me back, so I'm writing this evaluation. I had a mammogram and it was a bad experience, the technician was able to alienate me and showed no consideration. She (Paula) asked me my age and preceded to tell me that I didn't need to be there because of my age. I told her my gynecologist recommended it and she said I could have said no. During the exam she was little rough and I said so and she said that perhaps I should not take another exam! They didn't want me to use the lockers in the dressing room so I had to carry with my clothes with me to the exam room which I felt a bit strange. Next time I will go elsewhere where there is more consideration for women you are taking this procedure. I suggest Tower Imaging in SM. Mink is a bit unorganized, I told the person making the appointment that I wanted Marina del Rey and preceded to make it elsewhere! read more

Came for a 2:00 appointment. At 2:40 I went to the desk to ask how much longer. They said " Oh. CT is backed up , it would be another 1/2 hour, 45 minutes. Not a word to me as I checked in or sat and waited. I asked if they had water. I received a bottle and am continuing my wait. How nice it would if they could offer water to those whose appointment was an hour late. Ok, at 1-1/2 hours and mire asking a nurse came to the waking area an apologized and asked if I needed anything. 20 more minutes till appointment.what a wonderful feeling being noticed and accommodated. read more

Completely imcompetent. They do not enter patient information correctly - "Reason for visit" ... keep an eye out for what they input. Your height and weight ... they'll use something totally different than what you say in the patient portal. They do not care. When you follow up to let them know that you don't have cancer, they put it in wrong, but that's what their admin put in the portal. You only came in for a regular and routine visit, not for the cancer they put in the "reason for visit" - they don't answer. over and over and over again. 4 times of attempted reach outs!!! Eventually, when you threaten action, they will respond but they'll say ... only your physician can correct the wrongly input information that is in their portal. Then, your physician reaches out to tell them to correct it .. and, even then, they don't correct it. They are seriously incompetent. It's sad, so much potential to be the best. read more

the worst mri experience i have ever had! over a 1 hour wait. people who arrived after myself were admitted prior to me. i filled out all necessary paperwork on line as not to need to take time when there and that did noting! mri technician was beyone the worst! not once did she ask how i was doing , or give me any indication of the duration of the upcoming series of images. nothing, until i was gettin out of the machine. never again!! read more

Not only was Mink imaging easy to get to they have many locations, and the location i went to was nice and clean and so friendly.... right when i arrived they were able to check me in as a walk in since i had the wrong time...also i didn't have to wait long.... the person who handled my xray was nice and fast at it.... the office desk very friendly and would come to this location again.... read more
