Staff was efficient, nice and I got quick service. I got my blood drawn which was painless. I would go there again.

She asked if I was here for a TB skin test, and I replied, "No, I'm here for a quantiferon." She responds that I am scheduled for a TB skin test and that the quantiferon has to be done by the NP. I tell her there was no differentiation when scheduling myself for the appointment. She begins to condescendingly explain to me that the quantiferon is a blood draw and that it is different than the skin test in several ways. I am well aware of the difference as I am an RN. My issue comes from her negative manner and terrible customer service. I recently visited a CVS minute clinic at a different location the same way and was given zero issues and zero attitude. I was unable to complete the blood draw due to issues pulling up my insurance, and the providers were extremely understanding and kind. This middle aged blonde Karen at this location unnecessarily gave me a difficult time and a huge attitude. I tried to come to this location because it was slightly closer to where I live, but I decided to drive back to the minuteclinic I originally visited. The sheer difference in the providers' attitudes is astonishing. The other clinic was friendly and accommodating vs patronizing and condescending. Never will I ever return to this clinic due to the chance of being under the care of this rude Karen.

Doctor was in office on her phone texting so I popped my head in and explained I've been up all night and not feeling well. I asked when she Could she see me. She said no, make an appointment and come back 3 hours later even though she was doing nothing and there were no other patients. I immediately Left there and went to Venice Urgent care right down the street on Lincoln blvd. The cost is less only $99, to see Dr. they saw me right away and had much better Caring attitude. Never going to minute clinic again!

I like the people here and wish I could give a better rating but... Buyer Beware UCLA health…read morebilling. Beware the "convenience" of the video visit. The $500 for 5 minutes call. The convenience is all for UCLA. They will charge you for an in-office visit. Additionally, if the video call is 5 minutes, they will also use a 20-29 minute in office visit code, which is their minimum charge per the billing rep. Potentially understandable if a semi-complex medical question and semi-complex medical files. That means if you have an HDHP that is $500 for a 5min phone call to ask if a common medication may be right for you. I emailed to ask for advice and they say, oh ok, let's get a video appointment. Did I know I will be charged? Yes. Did I think it would be more like $200? Yes. Was it? No. No matter how many times I asked them if this was correct after I got the bill. Did I pay it? Unfortunately, yes. Lesson learned and hopefully this review is a lesson for UCLA office to make it very clear to advise patients that a Video Visit will be charged as an in-office visit. At least offer the cheaper phone call consult. Also, 500 for an in office visit is also exorbitant. Anyways... PS. Also, beware of hidden charges for an annual visit. They tried to charge $100 for a portion of the annual screening that should havr been covered under preventive care or something they did not do (extra consultation). They force you to spend an hour with billing to get them to waive it and you have to research and explain why they made a mistake.

She had a video visit with Dr. Narvaez, who, heard her symptoms, & when the nursing staff failed to answer sis's call button, told her to call 911. Thank goodness!!! 3 days in ICU and now, much improved... Expect her to have a recovery, albeit, extended now, BUT, this weekend I'm soooo grateful she pulled thru!!! And wouldn't have but for Dr. Narvaez. 5 stars is insufficient. THANK YOU!!!

She answered a lot of my questions, and if she did not know about a hormone question I had, I was graciously referred to a specialist. I really liked her honesty, patience, personality, and sense of humor made me feel really comfortable for my first visit. I'm glad I made the switch to Linda for PCP, because my previous doctor assumed I was young and healthy, and would fast track our annual visits, but I would also rely on the data rather than a simple number (my age) to justify my health. I will say some of these comments on Yelp talk about the front desk, but my experience was more of the check out desk, who seemed unnecessarily grumpy that morning. There was a prescription that wasn't send to a pharmacy, and I tried to ask the front desk about it, but she snapped at me and said to ask the pharmacy (with attitude). Next time I could do better and stand on my ground more firmly, but as this review is for Linda Narvaez and not for the front desk/ check out person, I am personally rating Linda as 5 stars.
