    Endwell Hot Chicken with Salad

This was our first time eating at Endwell. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I had heard Endwell was a good place. They have a variety of gluten free options and have gluten free pasta available. There are no gluten free desserts though. The atmosphere was nice when we first got there, but they got busy and it became extremely loud. We did not know that we needed a reservation but luckily we were able to be seated since we got there early enough. The hostess did tell us that we would only be able to stay for around an hour because they needed the table for a reservation. The service was slow in the beginning, even though they were not busy when we first got there, so we were concerned that they were going to tell us we would have to leave before we were done eating. Luckily, that did not happen. The food was great but the service could have been better. Overall, we were pleased with Endwell. I have a gluten allergy but my husband does not. We had the wings, I had the Eggplant Lasagna, and my husband had the Endwell Hot Chicken (not GF). The service is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.

Takeout container of the chicken riggies and sausage pizza

This is....not it. This is the second time I've ever been (the first time for a corporate event so I didn't even see the prices). Last night we got carry out. We ordered Chicken Riggies and the Sausage Pizza. Let's start with the riggies. First of all, the portion size is absurd. This tiny container was $20. Yes, you read that right. $20. Before tax and tip. And the flavor was a miss, the sauce was thin, the chicken was..not great. This dish is NOT authentic. My partner has lived in upstate New York (where this dish originated) and was so excited to try this, and it was sooooooo disappointing. Then, the pizza. The flavor was actually really good. However, everything but the crust was completely soggy (I'm talking the cardboard box underneath was almost black). We couldn't even lift a slice out of the box without needing something to help get it out or the toppings would just slide right off. The drive home only took 10 minutes and we ate right away. We will not be back.

This place is the best restaurant in Colombia. Our waitress was kind and attentive but not overbearing. The food was warm and had great flavor. Not too salty or oily.

DELICIOUS! I would eat here every day if I lived in Columbia! Sausage pizza is divine but you really can't go wrong. Fabulous interior and service too!

This place is a gem! The vibe is cool but not stuffy. The menu is small but has a good variety and all are phenomenally curated. They were also kind toward my food allergies! The bartenders were friendly and very skilled (upon observation), not just "jack & coke"s. After recently moving from Houston, I've been struggling to find quality food spots, this did not disappoint. I will definitely be back!

My sister took me here for dinner while I was visiting her from out of town. The pasta was quite good and filling. Also enjoyed the bottle of red wine we ordered. Service was great!

Street parking. Able to walk in and grab a table! Great service. The Caesar salad was delish. Well dressed and the variety of lettuces was a great way to have Caesar. The rigatoni chicken was good. Slightly spicy. A bit too salty for my taste. That being said, I ate it all! The pizza was great. Very thin crust. Great balance with the sauce. Amazing quick dinner.

We came in for a weekday lunch, and we were seated right away. We had heard great things so had high expectations. Service was good overall. - Taverna burger (4/5): burger was good but not amazing. Good flavor overall. Fries were very crispy and delicious - Mushroom pizza (3.5/5): Pizza was tasty but I feel like it needed more sauce and or toppings.

What a delicious friendly beautiful space for a late lunch. Shared the antipasto salad served lightly dressed, crisp salad, fresh and plentiful for two. Alex brought the hubby a couple of beers to try. The very good pilsner from New Zealand, only had enough for 2/3 glass (which Alex gifted to a happy husband) then he had the also great brown ale from Civil Life. Chose two pizzas, their sausage and the margarita. That fermented sourdough crust is for the gods!! The bubble crust with the charred bits can hold it's own with a little fold, perfect. Afraggato, cannoli, and spumonis to end this meal. Beautiful windows, minimalist decor. We had a Beautiful day bike riding the Katy Trail and stopping here for a very very nice meal.

Food and service were both excellent. We will be back. Ambiance was conniving and the decor matched the dining experience.

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.

Made in house. ....no. but let me tell you they made up for it with the jalapeño grits. OMG I could have eaten a pint of that. I also had a lovely drink. It has amazing spices and with the 2 or 3 wines they added rum. My spouse had a fried bologna sandwhich which she said was good.
