Most contractors are friendly and nice, but Alex was KIND - he was really easy to work with, and was clearly excited about the project. Nothing felt like an imposition. As a designer myself, the most important part to me was his dedication to craft, every single element was carefully placed and thoughtful - not a crooked piece of equipment. I stopped by at one point and I saw her was using a laser leveler to ensure all the sockets were level with each other. In a town where every socket in a home is always all over the place, I really appreciate that there are folks who spend the extra care like this. I can tell he loves what he does. I feel spoiled now - and I'm hoping all my contractors are at least at this bar that Alex and his crew have set.

He came out right away to give me an accurate quote and he even tried to sell me on other lights I didn't want but I listened to his sales pitch anyways. He asked to think about it and txt him later with my final answer but he would return on another day to do the job. As he was leaving he tried to sell me an AC unit (not including installation) for $1000 but we didn't ask for AC and we don't have a budget for something like that but I listened to his sales pitch again and told him I would ask my husband. That evening I txted him letting him know I just wanted the original work I asked for and skipped on his other lights and AC unit (never heard back from him letting me know he received the message) He returned later on in the week and not even 5 minutes later he tells me he needs to reschedule because the attic was too hot, I totally understood and I gave him my availability for the next week. I asked him if he could come back on a specific day and he said he would let me know. Well I never heard back from him. I txted him twice to see if the days I provided worked for him but I heard nothing back. I think he was upset that I didn't go with his more expensive lights and random AC unit so he decided to ghost me? Not sure but it was extremely unprofessional to leave a client hanging like that. I gave a 1 Star for the fact that he did a good job the first time around. Needless to say I'll be looking for another electrician.

They had the best selection of Danish modern dining tables, all beautifully and lovingly restored. We were grateful to see their workshop as well. The attention and care they put into restoring every piece of furniture they sell is apparent. Jessy's knowledge of the furniture and willingness to share his expertise without being pretentious was very much appreciated. We ended up buying a beautiful expanding draw-leaf teak dining table by Skovmand & Andersen. We did see other tables, but this one was designed and built with the highest quality. We also bought a gorgeous Paul Laszlo designed chest of drawers from Brown Saltman in mahogany with maple drawers. We appreciated the excellent customer service and attention to detail from Jessy and his team. We feel like we have invested in functional art that will give us joy for many years to come. He checked a few things, including the light switch, wiring leading into the lamps, and the junction box inside my attic. He determined it was the wiring inside the light switch that was faulty and causing the lights to not turn on anymore. He fixed the connection and boom - lights fixed! It's a relief to know that he'll come when he says he'll come (within 2 days after a holiday weekend, too), charge me exactly what he quoted me (fair price), and fix the problem.
