DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. 0 STARS. I paid RAZ $1,300 upfront for a mini-split AC unit that I NEVER received. The job was never even started. He originally quoted me $2,500 for parts and labor. He first asked for a $500 deposit to order the unit, then later claimed he was picking it up and needed another $800 to finish paying for it. I sent him a total of $1,300 through Zelle and Apple Cash. On the original installation date, August 7th, he canceled 10 minutes before our appointment because of a family emergency. I was understanding and agreed to reschedule. He then failed to follow through again, and I even called out of work for the rescheduled installation--only for him to not show up. After taking my $1,300, he completely stopped responding to my calls and texts. I have repeatedly asked for either my $1,300 back or the AC unit I already paid for, and he has provided NEITHER. At this point, he has $1,300 of my money, I have no AC unit, no installation, and no response. I gave him multiple opportunities to make this right. Do not give this guy money upfront. This review is for my experience with RRZ's estimate, not work completed. Raz responded quickly and was very nice on the phone. Two young technicians arrived at my home to survey job and give a free estimate. They did not know why they were there. I explained I needed electricity to two doorbells. They looked at everything, tested the wires, they looked in my attic and I was told I needed TWO transformers to make the doorbells work. I was given a bid of over $700.00 for the job - installation of new video camera doorbells not included. I have since had two licensed electricians come out to give bids on the job. BOTH told me I HAVE a transformer in the attic that was just DISCONNECTED but is perfectly functional WITH POWER with wires going to the two doorbells. The transformer was reconnected and power was restored to doorbells. $125 to fix everything and install the video camera doorbells. Lessoned learned - NEVER get just one bid. And be cautious of someone selling you something you do not need. read more

I am very happy with my service call from RRZ Lighting & Electric. We had an emergency situation early in the evening. RRZ was able to sent out a technician who arrived in less than an hour from my call, did trouble-shooting to figure out the problem, and in my opinion went above and beyond to figure out what was happening. As it turned out, the problem was with an appliance itself not the electricity but at least we have peace of mind knowing what happened and our technician, Hovic (I think - my apologies if the name is spell incorrectly) was extremely helpful and polite and explained what he was doing and spent a lot of extra time trying to make sure the issue wasn't with the electricity. On top of all that, I felt the price for the late evening, last-minute house call and the amount of time the technician spent to troubleshoot was extremely fair.
