All the staff were really kind and helped me get things figured out with insurance, which I greatly appreciated. At my first visit I was thoroughly evaluated and X-rayed, which made me feel like my course of treatment was tailored to my injuries. Dr. Aldridge kept tabs on my progression, provided me with exercises, stretches, and other supplemental forms of treatment to speed up the healing. The adjustments left me feeling progressively more loose, which was nice after being so stiff from the accident. The hydro table and the roller bed are honestly magical. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I ask to clarify, is the $49 just for the consultation, or does that include the full package that the Facebook deal mentioned? Annie said "The $49 is only for the consultation." So I ask, "Would I be able to get a refund? When I purchased the $49 deal, the site stated that I would receive" all the above sessions "for $49. Nowhere did it state that this price was merely a consultation to be followed up with even more of a cost. I would love a refund due to the false advertising." Annie then says "It is not false advertising. You do get all of those things at the consultation. That is exactly what the consultation is. I am not entirely sure what you think will happen in just one session? Its to TRY it. I am happy to request a refund." Annie. You could've easily just said "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, I will gladly process that for you." You don't have to go out of your way to act like I'm an idiot. That was incredibly rude. You're treating me like that and we're supposed to trust you to help others and educate them on their bodies? Then he works with me to manage my pain and since I started going to his clinic I am finally stable. When I first started going to his clinic I was in so much pain from my fibromyalgia, and ruptured disks in my back that when Terri Clawson, the PA I was originally seeing, touched me to check the sensitivity of the pressure points I was flinching away, then by the time she was finished I was sobbing. Terri left a few years ago to start her own business and partially retire. I decided to stay with Dr Chen and Alta Pain Physicians for a couple of reasons. One being I liked everyone I had seen at the clinic. They were all understanding, kind, and were knowledgeable about managing pain. And secondly because I had already had my primary care physician, who was managing my pain, retire on me. I didn't want to go through that again, if I could help it. I had already gone through a horrible experience trying to find a new doctor / ain clinic to help me. This other pain clinic i was going to just before coming to Alta Pain Physicians was a horrendous experience and was part of the reason I was flaring so much and in so much pain when I first came to the clinic. I definitely didn't want to go through that again. After Terri left I started seeing Shane Green. He was terrific too. He was able to work with me and after I started working remotely I was feeling even better since I could lay down on my breaks if I needed to and I didn't have to drive 40 minutes one way to work & home each day, plus getting up early enough to dress up each morning and all of that nonsense when you need to wear business dress for work. I was able to decrease the medicine I was taking because of working from home. There wasn't a bunch of pressure to do this but I was feeling so much better and I felt it was time to try to decrease my pain medicine. I was able to decrease my pain meds by 50% Shane said. I don't know if it was that much but it was signific and Shane said he was really proud of me since I did that all in my own. But the clinic helped me to much that it was't really on my own. They sent me to do some physical therapy with Mountain Land physical therapy, they specialize in patients with fibromyalgia. I hadn't been able to do much physical therapy before because it made me hurt more due to my fibromyalgia problems. But they found this place that stated the specialize in these patients and they were good to their claims. During this time I also was afflicted with neuropathy because my B12 became so low. I had to do daily injections for a while. And this is something that never goes away once your afflicted with it. So even though I was feeling a lot better I still had issues that will probably be ongoing, probably lasting for the rest of my life. That is kind of depressing but I have been dealing with the fibromyalgia for about 20 years. So, I guess I'm kind of used to it and I am still doing much better!! Shane left the clinic about a year ago and I really miss him. But Dr Chen takes excellent care of me even with some of the PA's leaving. He understands where I am at and where I have been. He's a talented kind doctor! I have never known a doctor who when he gives you an injection and you flinch, he apologizes. But that's his nature. I appreciate all he has and continues to do for me!!

That is of course a very important part. However, what you dont necessarily consider is all of the pre and post evaluations and care that are important to the surgery going well and the results being good for the long term. That is another area where Dr. Chidester is likely unmatched. He holds numerous pre and post op appointments. I remember when my wife told me about all of these extra appointments i thought, why does he want her to come back so much? I soon learned that was because he monitors the results constantly to check on how her body was responding to ensure they were not just excellent right after surgery, but for the long term. You dont really think about those types of issues. Additionally, from my understanding, most doctors do not provide such consistent after care. That is because it takes time for him to provide that type of care. He is losing out or delaying new consultations by providing that level of aftercare. When you are aware of how busy his office is, you realize that he is sacrificing money to provide the finest level of care. Overall, i am just highly impressed with dr chidester and his staff. Not only does he perform the finest surgeries, but his entire sphere of care seems to be unmatched. Maybe i am just enamored by wife's big, perfect breasts, but i think i am pretty objective. Came here to try them out through a Facebook special for $49 which provided a free soft wave treatment. Trying to find a doctor that I feel very comfortable with. I wish I could remember the doctor's name, but he was very informative and pleasant as was his receptionist. I enjoyed getting to know him and talking about a common interest that we have. Soft wave is a miracle treatment that, of course, insurance companies do not cover because, of course, the AMA doesn't give it a billing code. This defies logic and common sense, of course, because the insurance companies would rather cover much more expensive treatments and procedures instead of this highly cost effective and just plain effective treatment. If you've seen any ads for soft wave treatment with patients suffering from joint pain or stiffness or other ailments, they are true. Let me tell you about my story. I had tweaked an injury to my right shoulder almost a year and a half ago. This limited my mobility and kept me from doing active things like throwing a ball. Even simple things like putting on a necktie or washing my back. There were definite movements that I could not do without pain or limited mobility, like reaching up high. This doctor gave me at least 15 minutes of soft wave therapy (it felt like longer) and it's crazy!--it works immediately. I could reach higher and every mobility issue improved. Doing soft wave instead of surgery? No brainer. I wish this had been available years ago so that I didn't have to go through partially successful surgery that took many sessions of PT for only partial recovery. The technology behind it is that it increases blood flow, can increase bone density, and as far as I can understand, sort of "tricks" cells into a self-healing mode. You can research this yourself, though, it's not the purpose of this review. And of course, it has been in use in Europe for years before the US approved of it. Invented by German doctors to shatter kidney stones. After the soft wave therapy, he gave me an additional treatment with some sort of supplemental electromagnet treatment that also works in deep tissue. It was a pad that produced pulses. I don't remember the exact name of this treatment. His prices are comparable to everyone else's. I would definitely recommend that you try him out. When my financial situation improves, I'm definitely going to pursue this and make an appointment. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. A few days later saw a different picture with a person on a table which appeared to stretch the back. Made a phone call, and found that they accepted my insurance. But wanted to do a consultation and take x-rays first. The first appointment they went over range of motion and found the pressure points that caused pain and asked about what I do for work? Told them I sit on a computer many hours a day many days a week. Next they worked up the plan for how many times I will be at the center and what types of things I will have to do at home. They take an alternative approach to Physical Therapy. I like what they do and how they don't mess around with isolating the areas that need some strengthening. Have been to 3 different Physical Therapy places around SLC in the past and they came and went and didn't seem to care. Here they use physiotherapy (not sure how different from PT?) and make sure you are on task and doing the proper procedures as designed. This entails stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, and improving balance and coordination. The staff, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapist, and nurses all treat the patients with dignity and respect. Seen a couple negative reviews on where which don't seem to have actually been to the facility except to make an appointment. Some guy named Dust C posted the same things over and over which should be flagged by Yelp for inaccurate review. Have been coming to IG since late July '20 and still go 2x a week now Oct '20. And most days are great for being pain free some days aren't so good but are becoming few and far between. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they sometimes get really busy, and most of the time it is because I am running late to my scheduled appointment. Highly recommend this facility for those that are suffering from pain that want to avoid surgery or an elixir. :-)
