This was my first, but absolutely not my last, visit. From the moment I was greeted at the door, I…read moreknew I was in good hands! Loraine is a professional in every sense of the word. She is attentive, perceptive, and obviously is very deeply concerned about the people who trust their health to her care, and committed to their healing. I went to Loraine in pretty significant pain, but thanks to her expertise, I am FAR better today and am confident under her care I will be back to a pain-free state again soon. She is knowledgeable beyond massage therapy, understands whole body nutrition, and is an absolute joy to talk to. Do yourself a favor, make the appointment! You will NOT regret it!

Nothing wrong with that at all, but I thought I'd let you all know for when you are trying to find it. The massage itself was wonderful. I got the aromatherapy massage and it was great. Fell asleep about 30 minutes in.. that's how you know it's relaxing, right?? I would have given it 5 stars except for these couple reasons: - music stopped half way through because her phone was connected to the speaker and someone called. - you could hear an occasional dog bark or person speaking in the home I'd certainly come back!

I am still recovering from a work injury and have been trying all kinds of things to help. One of…read morethe things I thought may help is a nice little massage on my problem areas. I was able to get in within a day or two, which was super awesome! I wasn't 100% sure what to do but the masseuse was super great about walking me through everything. I had never gotten a massage before so it felt weird to strip down in someone's office lol. She didn't once make me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable for not knowing what to do. As we got the massage, she could tell that there was major issues going on with the muscles in my shoulders, upper back, and neck. She worked through them really well and used just the right amount of pressure. I also loved the warm towels mixed with the Deep Blue Gel. It made for a very soothing experience. We also had a great chat about life while I was getting my massage, which was nice so it wasn't awkward. The atmosphere when we weren't talking though, was also great. It was calming and relaxing. I look forward to my visit in a few weeks!

**update to my original review** Sonnie reached out to me and we were able to discuss my concerns…read more She was very easy to work with and very understanding and appreciative of the concerns I raised. I now feel confident in continuing my business at Calming Touch in the future.*** Very disappointed in the unethical and unprofessional practices I was surprised to learn of. I went here for prenatal massages and it was great! I was recently given a gift card for a 60 minute massage so I scheduled with Brianna. She was extremely knowledgeable and it was a great massage! The issues I have are not with her, they are with how the business is run. The stars are for Brianna. 1. My massage was scheduled for 12:40 and When I was told we were finished the clock read 1:30. When I asked why we ended 10 minutes early Brianna informed me that at Calming Touch they massage for 10 minutes less than the time you pay for (I.e. a 50 minute massage when you paid for a 60 minute massage) even if you arrive early so your massage begins on time. 2. I had a coupon from referring a family member that I used during checkout. When I went to pay with my gift card I was informed I was not allowed to use a gift card if I have any discount applied to the price of my massage. So I had to pay out of pocket. *I will note that nowhere on the website or at the location does it say this is a rule, so I found it very frustrating, especially after paying for 60 minutes and being told I only get 50. This does not happen at other massage companies (i much experience in managing a massage business and attending multiple) and it was extremely disappointing to find out. I cannot in good conscience recommend this location anymore to my friends and family as I now know we aren't getting what we paid for.

Came here because I got a 90 minute massage with add on Groupon for my birthday. You cannot book…read moreGroupon massages online which is annoying, you can only do that on the phone. Getting there deal was nice and helpful deciding which add on to do - I did the Himalayan salt stones. The waiting area is just in the front which is different from most massage studios I go to where it's a calmer darker room to wait. Still nice and they offered hot towels if you wanted. The massage room was pretty normal. They asked what type of pressure and massage I wanted. The massage itself was, not great. I asked for deep pressure and it just felt like getting oil rubbed on me. There was no target around the muscles and even when I asked for deeper pressure it remained the same. It felt like maybe my therapist was new and didn't know what he was doing. I asked to avoid my hair and he massaged my scalp and messed with my hair anyways. The Himalayan salt stones were nice but they were used for a few minutes on my back and that was it. In addition my massage ended 10 minute earlier than it should have. It was a 90 minute massage not 80 minute so that was quite annoying as well. Will not be back.

This place is now called Hand and Stone Massage. It was bought and taken over. It does seem like a different take on massage envy now but it's still worth going if you're looking for a last minute massage or facial.

Being treated by Dr. Spencer Pierce. Great guy. I came here from a FB ad touting the soft wave…read moretreatment. I have a shoulder injury, and previously have had rotator cuff problems solved by physical therapy. Somehow it got injured some months ago. I had rotator cuff problems with my other shoulder resulting in surgery. I was attracted to this ad because it is a non-surgical answer to my shoulder injury. I've received 4 treatments and have had relief already. Looking forward to more treatments. The office staff is very welcoming. The whole office has a welcoming vibe. I recommend this office. And if you are in need of treating physical maladies, I recommend seeing a chiropractor first as they are more open to procedures and treatments that work instead of going the pharmaceutical surgical route. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
