Disappointed with the sale and all it's hidden fees and salesman behavior lying and courting the customer.

We were looking for a newer car for my granddaughter and not looking to buy someone else's problems with trips to the mechanic, ie old car with high miles. She saw one online at Energy Auto Sales and set up a time to go check it out. Turns out the one we saw was way out of my granddaughter's budget. Zacc took the time to actually listen to what she wanted and what her budget was. Then took the time to explain that what she wanted to spend was not going to get her a decent car, without having mechanical issues (she was not realistic about what she wanted and her price, but it was good for someone else to actually point that out as well). He then showed her a couple of cars within a price range she could afford and ended up with a nice car, with low miles and a warranty that should cover her for the next 5 years. The finance person (sorry don't remember his name) also came up with a great interest rate and took the time to tell her how credit works and what she could do to pay the car off faster and discussed setting up allotments with her employer to ensure no payment would be missed. There were no high-pressure sales and honestly felt that we could have walked away at any time with no issues. read more

I was excited to buy my car from the Energy Auto Sales Bellevue store. When I was filling out the paperwork I was advised to sign for the warranty. I was also told that if I need to use it I should call Energy Auto Sales directly. A couple of weeks later a dashboard light went on. I contacted Energy Auto Sales for help figuring out the warranty. Nobody called me back. Since there's no point paying for a warranty when I can't use it I started reaching out to cancel the warranty. Energy Auto Sales is really hard to track down. Finally Dom sent the cancellation form. I signed it, sent it back, and asked what else I should do. Dom said he sent it over to the credit union and there was nothing more to be done since the credit union would take care of it. He said I'd get a credit at the end of the loan - basically, I'll be paying interest on the canceled warranty until the loan is paid off. That was ten days ago. I checked in with my credit union and they said that the dealer cancels the warranty and typically sends a check to pay off the warranty right away. They have no record of any cancellation and the financing is done by the dealership. I emailed Dom and the 'contact us' email earlier today. Crickets. Now I have to figure out with the credit union how to pay off entire loan to get out of this mess. Buyer beware. So incredibly disappointed. They seemed nice. I should have run when they added a hidden mandatory $500 security engraving fee on top of the sales price. Again, disappointed. read more

These guys are your stereotypical greasy car dealers. Only too happy to say anything to sell you a car. I bought a car from them that I was cautious about but was constantly reassured that the only thing 'they knew about' was a windshield issue. It turns out that they were constantly resetting the car's fault codes to hide them durring test drives. Resets are stored and after I got the car inspected the shop was surprised to see so many resets so close together. These guys are scum. Do not buy here. read more

Other dealerships had some rude/pushy salesmen, questionable cars, and seemed to not take care of the ones in their lot (flat tires, hadn't been vacuumed, just overall gross). That wasn't the case here. They had nice looking cars that were so clean inside! Almost hard to believe they were used. There was no pressure from them and they couldn't have been nicer.
