    Cajun Shrimp Pasta
    Terri J.

I ate there the other day when I was downtown. It's right across the street from Court Square Park. It's a pleasant restaurant with dim lighting and wonderful music playing. My server was excellent, very attentive. I had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta which was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are down by the park be sure to stop in for a cocktail or some pasta, maybe both.

This was my first time visiting. I came across the seafood burger and have to have it. I went in as a first timer. It is a small spot in the Evergreen area, but there is plenty of flavor packed inside. I ordered to go. The seafood burger was delicious. The burger is about half a pound. It had large shrimp, snow crab, mayo, and cheese on it. Additional topics were on the side (onion, tomato, lettuce, etc.). The bun was super buttery and crisp. The fries that were included were delicious. They had just the right amount of season on them and they were cooked to perfection. Now, the customer service wasn't all that great. The staff was not welcoming, did not care to assist, and definitely did not send customers off with a smile. This may not be the case for all times, but I will give it a try again.

What a gem! We decided to visit Energy Famous Pasta during the St Jude Marathon Weekend. We were staying at a hotel downtown and during the quest for carbs realized that securing a last minute reservation downtown was out of the question. We hopped in the car and headed over to Energy which was a quick ride from downtown in the Midtown/North Memphis area. The staff was nice and the place was small yet lively. I decided to order the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for our order. It was excellent!! My husband and son were both pleased as well. The pasta had great flavor and the portion size was just right. It came with a small breadstick. Highly recommend this spot! I heard the drinks were really good. I can't wait to go back.

The food is absolutely AMAZING and the service is even better. Definitely ask for Jamie, she will get you right! They also have really good vibes and a DJ too.

First visit! It was delicious. We went to their old location on Jackson, luckily they had a sign to direct us to their new location on Court. I had the Cajun chicken pasta, my husband has the New Orleans salmon over rice, both were great!! Service was great as well. Our server was very helpful, answering our questions and offering her opinions on certain items. Overall wonderful experience and we recommend.

My wife and I stopped by on a whim and we loved every bit of it. Excellent service, excellent food, and the drinks were amazing! I made a yelp account just to give them the five stars they deserve. Will absolutely be back for more.

I am giving this food four stars for a couple of reasons but the biggest reason is I didn't taste any cajun spice in either dish! The beef on the burger was not hot as well as the fries however there was a nice amount of seafood on the burger. Another reason is I asked for specific item on my burger and it was left off. Third reason is the wait time. I do not mind the waiting as I thought is was descent (placed order @ 5:07 p.m. and left @ 5:52 p.m. on a Friday) and drove 18 minutes home so I feel the burger should have still been hot. The pasta was pretty okay but just picked at it because it was bland to me, only 3 sausages and the crab was not as meaty in the shell. Small crab meat in the pasta as well and mussels a bit over cooked. The upside is the atmosphere and establishment is lovely and customer service was great! I would definitely go back to try other items!

I love the vibe the margaritas are pretty good. The pasta was great, only cook the salmon a little longer maybe add some spice to it since it's called New Orleans Style CAJUN pasta and it would be perfect! I always come just for that kick when I'm in the mood.

Went with my mother and sister while we were staying nearby attending a wedding party in Bartlett. Read about Catherine and Mary's online and decided to give it a shot based on pics and reviews. As soon as we stepped inside we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. I must say here that my sister has a small disorder such that it's hard for her to talk in complete sentences, and she has a notable stutter. This means she also experiences a great deal of social anxiety. She felt so welcomed that she hardly stuttered while we were there, and when we left she said, "This was such a good place for people like me." I loved that they made me and my mom welcome, but am doubly grateful that you went out of your way to make my sister so happy. She really felt like you treated her like an old friend. My sister has a speech problem, but she's not mentally disabled (in fact she's an electrical engineer). So the kindness was not lost on her, and I know this will be a place we'll look forward to when we visit family in the Memphis area. Thank you so much for the excellent food and the awesome vibes! I didn't recognize the folks working there (it's a Wednesday and we normally go by on a Friday or Saturday) and when the young man rang up my order he very politely explained I would have to answer the question about the tip before I could swipe my card. I said to him in repsonse "not my first rodeo" and then another gentleman asked me if I knew his software. I was somewhat confused by the question and then he proceeded to insult me. I explained I had been coming by this location for years and he pushed back they had just updated the software and the young man was explaining it to me. I then asked when he had updated the software, he replied in the last month or two. I then replid to him I had visited since then (and this was the same process as my last visit). Then he said I had an attitude. I have always given a 10.00 tip on my 10.00 purchase and I did the same tonight. Would I recommend coming to this location? Not on your life. This 'manager' has ruined a great little place for any night except Friday or Saturday (yes, I will continue to give my business to the weekend crew). This was a horrible person that may need to work in the back office and not with the public.

One of our folks couldn't stop eating oysters someone else was totally drawn into the calamari, but for me it was the lobster! Oh my so good! Really all the seafood eaters at the table were very pleased. I had the filet and loaded baked potato which was awesome. We had a range of things at the table (filets, strip, Verona salad, jack's trio, halibut, etc) but the most noteworthy was a new, extravagant burger that includes lobster atop the beef. The whole place was a celebration we will never forget, decorated so beautifully for Christmas, with artfully designed Gingerbread houses & whole villages made of sugarplums all around, the French champagne was flowing.. I also love the cappuccinos here, they present them in a terra cotta mug which keeps them nice & warm as the exceptional service & southern hospitality. There is no other place like the Peabody. After leaving a nearby bar, our group stopped in simply looking for food. The restaurant was virtually empty, yet the manager, Charles, insisted that if any of us sat near one another, we would be considered one large party and could only have one check. I explained that we had no problem sitting at separate tables, and each table would gladly have a single check. That should have solved the issue. Instead, Charles instructed an inexperienced and unprofessional server to scatter us throughout the restaurant and warned that if we interacted between tables, we would still be treated as one party. From a management standpoint, this decision made no sense. Rather than maximizing an opportunity to generate significant revenue, leadership chose to create unnecessary obstacles. Ironically, spreading us throughout the restaurant would have required opening multiple sections, increasing the workload on servers and support staff instead of simplifying operations. Leadership sets the tone for a business. Good managers solve problems and create positive guest experiences. They don't create barriers that send paying customers elsewhere. At the end of the day, every business has one primary objective: to generate revenue while providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated poor judgment, inflexible leadership, and a missed opportunity to earn the business of 24 guests who simply wanted a meal. I hope Curfew reevaluates this approach because customer service, common sense, and hospitality should always work together.

The drinks were fine, in the same way gas station coffee is "fine" when you're desperate. No water unless you ask (apparently hydration is an upgrade), and the bartender gave us about as much info on the menu as a Magic 8 Ball. I brought my wife here to impress her -- turns out, I just impressed her with how bad I am at picking places. Four drinks and some wings cost $114, and the best part? Gratuity was already included. Love a place that rewards itself for mediocre effort. If you've got literally any other option -- vending machine, food truck, pretzel stand at the concert -- take it.

The vibe felt like a speakeasy turned restaurant. While larger than a traditional speakeasy, it still managed to feel cozy, intimate and inviting. Shortly after we were seated, the restaurant manager stopped by our table. My sister asked for cocktail recommendations... if you're a cocktail fan, you're in for a treat. Their signature cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and exceptionally well-balanced. We went with their spicy margaritas. As for the food, I could have easily ordered a second helping of the Cajun Abita shrimp appetizer and called it dinner. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was outstanding. The accompanying beer bread was equally delicious...slightly reminiscent of cornbread but with its own unique flavor. My sister and I weren't huge fans of the She Crab Soup. It was simply too rich and creamy for our tastes. One bite was enough for us although my dad seemed to enjoy it. The Blue Window Wedge Salad is their take on a classic wedge which was spectacular. It will be hard to find another wedge salad that measures up. The sweet potato pecan casserole was good but it felt like it was missing something that we couldn't quite put our finger on what. The maple bacon Brussels sprouts were a table favorite...perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. My dad and sister both enjoyed the braised beef, which was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. To finish, we shared the white chocolate bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, the table next to us seemed to enjoy theirs just as much.
