We had our friend gathering here. It was nice blues music playing. The food was served hot and quickly. The server, Amber, was attentive and great customer service.

I ordered the oysters and they were terrible! Very fishy tasting. I couldn't eat them. The slaw was unlike anything I've ever seen. Wasn't good. The shrimp were big (tasted ok) and the sweet potato fries were ok. Nothing was worth me trying them again.

J3 introduced the Bluff city to crab boils and bags and they still are top tier ! Their speciality is the boiled crawfish bags hands down! They have a 3lb special and the JJ sauce is a favorable mix of all their sauces . The location is spacious and the staff is super friendly.

Food was good, service was strange, the young lady had a very condescending attitude.

absolutely amazing birthday (i'm officially Unc status) dinner for myself and my wife (Soon! Ring…read moreotw) and family. Food was incredible. She got Voodoo Chicken Pasta (it did not lay any curses on her,,, but did taste delicious.) i got red beans and rice. MM! She got the spiced pear martini, fantastic (and STRONG! as she said.) I got the Old Fashioned (e.g. unc status. it was fantastic and the chocolate bitters were so scrumptious.) service was good and efficient! and the restaurant is very pretty and well maintained, like the others in the Regalia center. Very good experience and I am left happy!!

Couldn't decide if service or food was worse. We were promptly seated and put in our orders (dozen…read moreoysters, grouper ceviche, pasta jambalaya and redfish). Grouper and oyster arrived within 1 min of each other, and then it was all downhill. 2 main entrees arrived when I just got my first bite of the grouper- basically all the food arrived within 5 min of each other, so entree were just chilling at the table while we were trying to eat appetizer first. Not once did the waiter stopped by to see how the food was. Everyone who walked by didn't look at us. We had to wave someone cleaning the table to ask for the waiter for new plates (which he kindly got for us) bc we got to the entree (about 20 min later). Had to wave someone else down to get a refill on water, who told us our waiter had a large party, which doesn't excuse being ignored for 50 min. After that, we had a new waitress who stopped by more often, but we lost our appetite for dessert or ordering a cocktail. As far as food: Grouper ceviche- too acidic that I didn't taste any other flavors. I love acidity but this was too much Oysters- my friend enjoyed it. She had a couple gritty ones, but I had no issues Pasta jambalaya: super salty otherwise great flavors Redfish- my friend's fave dish. She absolutely enjoyed it Overall, disappointing for the amount of money paid for the food and service. Wanted to come back for cioppino for dinner but not after this experience.

The restaurant is described as Latin/Mexican, though we noticed the kitchen staff didn't appear to be Latin or Hispanic, which stood out to us. One thing that surprised us was that chips and salsa are not complimentary. The menu itself is huge--burgers, quesadillas, bowls, fried fish, wings, and more--so it felt more like a mix of different cuisines than a traditional Mexican spot. We did order the chips and salsa, and honestly, that ended up being the best thing we had. For our entrées, I ordered the fried fish and my husband got the BBQ shrimp quesadilla. His quesadilla was extremely runny and messy, and the only flavor that really came through was the BBQ sauce it was heavily covered in. My fried fish portion was generous, but the flavor was just okay. I ended up eating only about two pieces. I also tried the blood orange margarita, which was decent but tasted like it barely had any alcohol in it. Overall, the service was pleasant, but the food and drinks didn't impress us enough to make us want to return.
