Ron and Ephraim are amazing! Thank you for everything!…read more I went here for several months to help me recover from a MCL tear that made me much weaker on one leg. My first appointment was around Christmas/new years and they were able to fit in me quickly for the initial exam. I saw a few different people at first and just booked whoever was available, but started to book Ron and Ephraim since their time and availability always seemed to work with my schedule. I could definitely feel my knee/leg getting stronger and was often sore (in a good workout kind of way) and they never pushed me when I couldn't complete any sets. They really listened to feedback when I was sore and had pain and adjusted the entire workout around my feedback as well as the post workout treatment. I had a great experience with everyone including the front desk which was great with providing the receipts I needed for my hsa/fsa claims. Hopefully I won't be a repeat patient, but i won't hesitate to use them again if needed.

It was affecting every part of my day. After about a month working with Ron, I made a full recovery. Ron is incredible at what he does. He does not just give you exercises, he makes sure you understand proper form, technique, and how your body should be moving. He is also great with stretching routines and pays very close attention to detail, which made a huge difference in my progress. What stood out most is how intentional and attentive he is during every session. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting you better, not just going through the motions. I cannot recommend Ron enough if you are dealing with pain or mobility issues. Huge thank you to him for getting me back to normal.

I was rear-ended in a car accident and spent over a year dealing with knee, neck, and back…read moreinjuries. During that time, I worked with another physical therapy office. The people there were incredibly kind and wonderful, but despite more than a year of treatment, I simply wasn't getting better. Then I found Bechtel Physical Therapy. I am not exaggerating when I say I made more progress in my first three visits at Bechtel than I did in over a year at the previous clinic. Are they more expensive than where I was going before? Yes. Are they worth it? Absolutely. But really, they ended up being less expensive in the long run because I improved so quickly. I only needed a few weeks of treatment to accomplish what an entire year elsewhere couldn't. I personally work with Daniel, and all I can say is: holy hell, that man has magic hands. Because I was improving so much, I started addressing other issues as well. Susan (fabulous) worked with me on pelvic floor physical therapy after surgery - and Bryn (beyond incredible!) helped me recover from symptoms related to a concussion I suffered from AND adjusted my surgery scars. My scars!!! I didn't even know that that was a thing - and the difference before and after was astronomical!!! The breadth of expertise in this office is beyond compare. (also want to give a special shout out to Emelyn, Daniel's right-hand assistant, and Fernanda, the general manager, because I love them). What I appreciate most is that they combine genuine kindness with an exceptionally high level of skill and professionalism. It's one thing to have a caring staff. It's another thing entirely to have a caring staff that is truly outstanding at what they do. In fact, when I mentioned Bechtel to several medical specialists I see, every single one had the same response: "Yep. They're the best." And now I understand why. I cannot recommend Bechtel Physical Therapy highly enough. They changed my recovery, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been going to AJ Physical Therapy since late August after having surgery on my hip. I've been…read morepretty happy with my results, as has my surgeon. My surgeon even said at one point that we were 'ahead of the curve' recovery-wise, although he wasn't super happy that I was doing unsupported standing/weight-bearing on the operated side within the first few days after surgery (which he said was listed in the referral's recovery plan outline. I had my initial evaluation with Barak, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. After that first session, however, I was assigned to work with Mike. Mike is also very good at what he does, although I had one frustrating incident in which I was being asked to balance on my affected side which I was finding almost impossible as I had hurt my large toe on that foot (bruised the bone or hairline fracture that took a couple of months to recover), even though I had expressed this. After that session we worked on different exercises. The layout is essentially one big open room with some massage-esque tables in the back and all the equipment spread throughout the main room. Some of the equipment/gear is a little old, as an example the ankle-weights I work with frequently have velcro that seems to be hanging on by a thread, though the things have never fallen off of me. There are some offices in the back for other kinds of work (I've not been back there except for the restroom). The staff always greets me with a smile and within a minute of my walking in I'm offered a heating pad to warm up the affected area. They have music on the speakers that's usually pretty good (sometimes 'skips' despite not being a CD player) and a weekly poll on the white board that they invite clients to participate in ("hot cocoa or egg nog" as an example). I enjoy coming here for my workouts, although sometimes the therapists are balancing two people at a time so once they confirm you're doing the correct form, they can pop off to work with another person for a moment. I haven't felt neglected, tho, as the others who are working at the time check in on how I'm doing as I go. They also speak a couple of languages, too, which is great. I think Hebrew (?) and Spanish, but I'm not 100% sure on the latter. The atmosphere is nice, as well, and both staff and clients chat about whatever, generally. One thing I would improve is being more diligent about the 'no phone calls inside' policy, as a lot of the clientele skew older and they tend to chat loudly on their phones or put it onto speaker to hear it better (?). And on occasion just watching videos with the volume on, which can be distracting in the open-floor plan of the place. I will say, they can be heard from their office space which opens to the main floor, and I heard a woman (sally?) commenting the news with statements of how 'of course those people don't speak English' and 'all that misappropriated money Elon found' which worries me regarding media-literacy there, since I heard someone agree with that easily disproven statement (when looking up 'doge actual findings') but I acknowledge that that has nothing to do with physical therapy. Overall a great place to get physical therapy.

They are incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in your progress. My PT (Barak) created a thoughtful, personalized plan and consistently adjusted it based on how I was doing. I have also worked with Salley several times, and she is super knowledgeable and experienced. They know exactly when to push you and when to hold back, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process. The clinic is also very well equipped, which makes each session effective and efficient. Beyond that, everyone there is friendly, professional, and supportive--you really feel taken care of. I'm stronger, more mobile, and much more confident than I expected to be at this stage (on the path to going back to running and regular strength training). I highly recommend AJ Physical Therapy to anyone needing high-quality care.
