First let me tell you that it took me a couple of times to get through even with an authorization. I show up and the door is open and I walk through into a gym. The receptionist, Sarah, tells me to use the other door. I was already inside and infront of her and she literally expected me to walk back out and back in the other door. WTF. Seriously? Is this third grade? I almost left from lack of respct. I loook around and see so many elderly people and think she is making people jump through hoos with a little bit of power. It gets better. The actual physical therapist was great and diagnosed my torn rotator cuff and proceeeded to put together a course of action. When he was in the reception area, this woman acted better, almost fawning over him, but how she treats patients is atrocious. I got my authorization for my therapy schedule in the mail and checked my phone. This woman Sarah had left me several messages. I dreaded calling there and getting her on the phone with her incipid voice and condescending attitude. She did nto disappoint. I could not get a word in edgewise as she educated me on if I had HMO or PPO. I had the authoization in my hand, and she called me - I was returning her call. She spent so much time berating me and telling me she was trying to get information as I was trying to give her my info. I cannot and will not put up with this total lack of respect - rudensess and condescention for absolutely no reason. I am a senior but I am also well enough to say something about elder abuse and this woman is a pip on a power trip. I am calling my doctor immediately and having them reroute my 12 sessions elsewhere. I cannot even begin to think of having to put up with this person for one time more than I absolutely have to, let alone at least 12. read more

The actual PT was very nice but every other negative aspect around dealing with the practice, its incredibly rude staff, the ownership who hides behind an office manager title and says "I'm older than you," and the old and outdated environment far outweighs and eclipses that. I would give zero stars if possible due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of their office manager, Rasti. I called three times to speak with him, and he finally returned my call. I asked him to address an issue regarding my mom's missed appointments. She had two no-shows, and they had canceled one of her appointments, but they were claiming she had three no-shows in total. When he called, I tried to explain the situation, but he repeatedly interrupted me and didn't allow me to finish speaking. Instead of listening, he kept asking why my mom didn't show up. I was trying to explain the reasons, but he kept cutting me off. At one point, he even said, "You should explain it to me!" He compared physical therapy appointments to hair and nail salon appointments, which seemed inappropriate and irrelevant to the situation. Realizing the conversation wasn't going anywhere, I asked him what he expected me to do. He arrogantly responded, "You should apologize to me." To top it all off, he ended the conversation by saying he would discharge my mom as a noncompliant patient. I have been coming to Energy for several years and have been very happy with the PT's, especially Chez, and Ernie, who covers for Chez when he goes on vacation. I highly recommend Energy. I generally go in when I have a pain I can't fix on my own, but I have seen plenty of people come in post-surgery for recovery and recuperation who seem very happy. Extremely Disappointed with Front Office Experience, But Great Therapist I wish I could rate ZERO stars but I put only 1 star for the management. I feel compelled to share my recent experience at Energy Physical Therapy. Unfortunately, my interactions with ANDREA at the front desk have been consistently frustrating and unprofessional. She has been rude, dismissive, and lacks the basic customer service skills expected in a healthcare environment. Rather than being helpful or courteous, her attitude makes you feel like you're an inconvenience just for showing up or asking a question. It's disappointing and disheartening--especially when you're already dealing with pain and seeking support and care. That said, I want to make it clear that my therapist, Tigran Demirchyan, has been the one saving grace. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. His approach, dedication, and expertise make a huge difference in the recovery process. I can't thank him enough for the care he's provided. I have been coming to Energy Physical Therapy for several years now for my chronic back pain and recent knee injury. First of all, the staff at the front desk are great and very friendly. Yelin is great and caring, and goes above and beyond to provide help with scheduling and reminders. Joyce is great at her job, she always takes into account how I'm feeling that day...especially if I'm in more pain and always flexible to changing up exercises and providing treatment for my pain. She has help me a lot with regaining more mobility and flexibility and has offered great suggestions when it comes even doing task at home to help when it comes to decreasing my back pain when doing chores and even sleeping positions. Energy Physical Therapy has helped me so much. I have had pain in walking and tightness in my hips for a long time. Mostly it's from long-term sitting and working on my computer editing (video, photography, web design). Moderate right, and mild left hip arthritis. But though I was tight, they pointed out I have weak muscles too causing an imbalance. By the way, I had done a lot of good exercises on my own but they were not necessarily the best for my problem. Bottomline, strengthening, and flexibility work have helped. Ernie, Eric, Megan, Andrea, and the entire staff are friendly and attentive. I might add I am very active at 69, playing tennis and dancing Argentine tango. Still, sometimes it would hurt to walk upright with good posture. I would dance and get glute cramps or leg numbness, but now I'm much better. read more

One of the worst experiences in my life, I would find another place. The physical therapist no longer works there but I had a problem with my knee which now turned into sciatica because of the multiple stretches I was shown by PT therapist Paul Afanasyev. I'm under care of a legitimate PT place now and not only did they get my knee better they are also helping me with my sciatica. Paul was by far the most clueless and unprofessional therapist l've ever come in contact with. I wish I had gone to a different facility right away. I told Paul while under his care that i'm experiencing sciatica pain and he didn't do anything to switch my routine or suggest what to do. I arrived at Energy Physical Therapy on February 8th for an evaluation of my left hip, which had been hurting for so long that I can hardly remember a day without pain. I hardly slept nights because at night the pain would radiate down my entire leg, making sleep an impossibility. I was given a bi-weekly schedule of 12 sessions and was to return Monday the 12th of Feb. for my first session. At my first session, on the 12th of Feb., I was greeted by Janet who immediately made me feel at ease. She was very kind and compassionate, as well as extensive in her questioning. After talking about the location and severity of my pain, Janet worked with me, doing exercises and stretches for my hip. After we had done several different exercises and stretches, we went to a private room for therapy. Janet finished off the session with ultrasound and heat therapy as well as massage. I really felt an improvement upon leaving! Everything she had me do, and everything she did, made a huge difference. I felt amazing!!! When I went to bed that night, I didn't even notice that I wasn't in my usual pain, and thought it was my imagination when I realized I wasn't. That was the 12th of February. When I returned on the 15th, after a few stretched and questions, she discovered that it was not tight hips giving me the pain, but the sciatic nerve in my left glute (butt muscle) was what was causing the constant pain. I have only had 4 sessions total with Janet, but I must say she is some sort of miracle worker!!! Her broad approach to my therapy has been amazing! Janet is so knowledgeable and caring, and her method to my healing is very comprehensive. She asks so many questions, and provides me with so much helpful information, every time I see her. I have followed all her advice on improving the ways I perform daily physical activities, so I don't get hurt or pull muscles, as well as continuing her exercise and stretching routines on the days I don't have physical therapy sessions with Janet. Rusty, the office manager there is extremely unprofessional. He tells you what the clinic gets paid for you to be a client there. He also claims they can't charge you a cancellation fee should you not be able to make it, and also shares what the staff make. I was a client there for over 5 years, and in that duration began becoming my parents' caregivers. I would have to reschedule my appts, here and there, but to him that is unacceptable, because they are losing revenue, and decided to stop giving me appts, which is now leading into horrible excruciating pains, delayed patient care and suffering.
